Can I add an eSIM to the Tab S9 Ultra | S9+ | S9?
Yes, in addition to a physical SIM, Tab S9 Ultra | S9+ | S9 is compatible with eSIM, which will make your global traveling much more hassle-free.
When trying to download an eSIM profile through the app, an error occurs.
It's confirmed that there may occur an eSIM profile downloading fail error or not working with the ‘INSTALL eSIM’ button in case of using the carrier’s app or another 3rd party app while opening the process of the eSIM. However, even though it is showing a download fail error, downloading and installation of the eSIM profile is working properly.
In this case, you can enable eSIM to complete the eSIM installation process for use through the SIM manager menu as a temporary workaround.
And it does not occur in the case of using the SIM manager menu for the opening process of the eSIM.
Before completion of the downloading and installation process, restarting the device may cause eSIM profile downloading to fail, so please do not restart the device during this process (it takes 1 - 2mins at most).
Settings > Connections > SIM manager > enable eSIM
