Samsung Care+ brings together a range of benefits that are meant to safeguard your device against any accidental, physical or liquid damage, technical or mechanical failure.
2. What are the benefits of Samsung Care+?
Extended warranty extends the warranty of your Samsung.
Smartphones, Tablets & Wearables by respective additional years. With this plan, you would be able to enjoy the same services offered during the warranty for an additional year. All technical and mechanical failure of the device will be covered under this plan.
Screen only Protection covers the damage to the front screen of your device. With this plan, you are covered for any damage to the front screen for one year from the plan purchase date. (Multiple screens* covered only for Foldable devices. T&C Apply)
Accidental & liquid damage Protection, as the name suggests, it covers the complete device from any kind of accidental damage or liquid damage. This plan covers any physical or liquid damage to your device for one year from the plan purchase date.

Samsung Care+ currently covers a select range of Samsung devices, including: Smartphones, Tablets and Wearables.

5. What do you mean by accidental damage?
Accidental damage refers to a device failing to function correctly or safely as the result of an incident that has happened by accident. For example, it is dropped, something is dropped on it or liquid spilled onto it.
6. Is cosmetic damage covered under Samsung Care+?
Cosmetic damage, such as scratches and dents, is not covered under Samsung Care+. For detailed coverage information, please refer to the policy terms or contact our support team.
7. When can I purchase Samsung Care+?
You can purchase Samsung Care+ along with the purchase of a new Samsung Phone. You can also purchase Samsung Care+ within a 60 days window from the date you first purchased your device. Kindly note that Samsung Care+ plan only applies on a target list of devices.
8. How many claims do I have under Samsung Care+?
- Accidental Damage (Monthly and 2-Years) Plans: Unlimited repair claims.
- Screen Damage (1-Year) Plan: 1 claim within one year.
9. What happens if my phone is replaced?
If it is decided your phone needs to be replaced, the Samsung Care+ policy and its remaining protection plan shall be transferred to the new phone received. Please contact our support team to complete the process.
10. How do i activate my Samsung Care+ pack after purchase?
Samsung Care+ plans are automatically activated as soon as you purchase the pack or receive the device, ensuring immediate coverage without any additional steps required.
11. Can I buy multiple Samsung Care+ packs for one device?
No, only one Samsung Care+ pack can be purchased for a single device (identified by its IMEI/Serial number) throughout its lifetime. This ensures that each device is covered under a single, comprehensive policy.
12. Can I cancel my Samsung Care+?
You may be able to cancel your Plan within 14-30 days of your Plan start date, as shown in your Plan Confirmation. If no claims have been made, you'll receive a full refund.
For Screen Damage (1-Year) and Accidental Damage (2 Years) Plans:
- If you cancel after the 30-day window, no refund will be given.
Monthly Pay Plans:
- You can cancel the renewal of your Plan at any time. The payment for the current month will be retained, and no additional payments will be charged. Your Device will continue to be covered for the duration of the period already paid.
13. How do I cancel my Samsung Care+?
If you wish to cancel your policy within the cooling-off period and request a refund, please follow these steps:
- For purchases made through a retailer: Contact the retailer where you purchased Samsung Care+ for assistance with cancellation and refund.
- For purchases made through the Samsung Online Store: Reach out to our support team for guidance on the cancellation process and refund.
Please ensure you initiate the cancellation within the specified cooling-off period to be eligible for a refund.
14. What is the plan duration?
Your Plan begins and ends on the dates specified in your Plan Confirmation.
- Samsung Care+ 1 Year Screen Damage Plan
Coverage lasts for 12 months from the Plan Start Date (as shown on your Plan Confirmation), or until you reach the claims limit, whichever comes first.
- Samsung Care+ 2 Year Accidental Damage Plan.
Coverage lasts for 24 months from the Plan Start Date (as shown on your Plan Confirmation).
- Samsung Care+ Monthly Pay Plan
- Coverage lasts for up to 36 months from the Plan Start Date (as shown on your Plan Confirmation).
- Monthly Pay Plans automatically renew each month as long as your Plan Fee is paid.
- These Plans have a maximum term of 36 months and will end automatically after the 36th month, unless terminated earlier by you or us.
15. Does the coverage value of my device decrease over time under the Samsung Care+ policy?
No, the coverage value of your device does not decrease over time during the Samsung Care+ policy tenure. Samsung Care+ plans offer full coverage up to the device's invoice value throughout the policy period, ensuring consistent protection without depreciation.
16. I want to cancel my Samsung Care+, will I get a refund on the days remaining?
No, the remaining days of your Samsung Care+ coverage will not be refunded upon cancellation. If you cancel within the cooling-off period, you may be eligible for a refund based on the policy terms, but the unused days will not be prorated or refunded.
