Setting up a personalized list of favorite channels on your Samsung TV.

Simplify the process of finding your preferred TV channels by designating them as favorites on your Samsung TV. Whether it's free-to-air TV or radio stations, you can easily mark them as favorites. These preferred channels will be highlighted on the Channel List screen for quick access. On newer models, you even have the option to view a TV guide specifically filtered to display only your favorite channels. Follow the instructions below to discover more about this feature.

Add your favorite Channels to a List

Follow the steps below to learn how to add your favourite channels to a list on your Samsung TV.

2022 - 2023 Model TVs

1 Click the Home button on your remote and head to the Live TV app

2 Press the ʌ / v to bring up the TV guide

3 Select Edit Channels

Note: Images were taken from a 2023 model TV. Depending on the model of your TV, sequences and steps may vary.

4 Scroll down to Favorites then select Add Channels

Note: You can also remove, change order and rename your favourited channels on this screen.

5 Select the channel you wish to add to your Favorites then Add

6 Select Save and Exit

2020 - 2021 Model TVs

1 Click the Home button on your Samsung remote

2 Select Live TV then Channel List

Note: To add free-to-air TV channels, ensure that your TV has an antennae connection and that you are receiving free-to-air broadcast.

3 Navigate to and select Edit Channels

4 Scroll down to Favorites then select Add Channels

Note: You can also remove, change order and rename your favorite channels on this screen.

5 Select the channel you wish to add to your Favorites then Add

6 Select Save and Exit

7 You will be brought to the Channels menu where you can view your favorites

How to exit Favorite Mode?

1 Select Live TV then Channel List

2 Navigate to and select Edit Channels

3 From the Channels Menu, Simply choose All.

Previous models:

2016 - 2019 Model TVs: Home > Live TV > Channel List > Favourites

2013 - 2015 Model TVs: Menu > Broadcasting > Edit Favourites
