The Auto Focus and Auto Keystone features do not work when using The Freestyle
If the Auto Focus and Auto Keystone features are not working on your Samsung Freestyle projector, you may need to remove the device’s protective film or clean its sensors. This guide will help you keep the projector free of dust and debris so it continues to function properly.
If the Auto Focus and Auto Keystone features are not functioning on The Freestyle, check the following:
Case 1. If the protective lens film is not removed, the Keystone correction may not work or may malfunction. Use the Keystone feature after removing the film. If necessary, gently wipe the lens with a soft cloth. Keep in mind that the lens is sensitive to dust.
Case 2. You can use a cotton swab to carefully remove dust, debris, and foreign materials from the sensors on the top of the device.
Cautions:
- Make sure the Samsung logo is facing down.
- Do not project the light onto another source of light or an obstacle.
- The Keystone feature may be affected by external light, the distance between the projector and wall, and the projection surface.
