I bought this keyboard a week ago and it's been quite good so far. It is quite expensive, but it brings so much functionality to the tablet that I think it's worth the price. The only issues I've had with it are that the numbers are positioned a little strangely, so it's taken some time to get used to, and that the function strip that appears at the bottom of the screen while the keyboard is in use can sometimes get in the way of content on screen. Other than that, it works great!

The book cover keyboard for the galaxy S9 tablet works very well as a keyboard. The keys are nicely spaced and very responsive for a small keyboard. The only con I have is the location of the pen holder on the back of the cover. This pen holder creates a bump on the back of the cover preventing the tablet from lying flat on a surface. This is particularly cumbersome when you are trying to use the pen to draw or write notes. A better location for the pen tray would have been in the crease/hinge area of the cover (like the S7 cover had).

It is very compact and lightweight. I also enjoy the click-clack sound as I type. The keyboard magnetically attaches to the tablet like the S pen. There's also plenty of spaces on the outside to decorate with stickers and etc. The size of the keys on the keyboard might be too small for those used to a more physical keyboard. Those looking for a more ergonomic option, this is not made for that. To protect the tablet screen from scratches and light falls, this does the job. Overall, I am happy with this purchase even though the default color is black. That just means more room to decorate however you like :)

I purchased this keyboard a little over a year ago. It worked great for 13 months. 1 month out of warrantee the keyboard stopped working. :( It is a great product, fits great, just not built to last longer than the warrantee period.

Well, Samsung did it again--they set up the keyboard with the same tragic and fatal flaw: miss-aligning the number row so that people who actually know how to type can't use this keyboard. You might, eventually, finally get used to putting on a contortionist act every time you decide you're going to type a number that involves the keys you reach with your right hand. When that finally happens you will no longer be able to use a normal keyboard again. Well not, that is, until you get back in the habit of a normal keyboard and can again no longer use this one correctly.

I love the sleekness, the feel, and the touch response of this keyboard. I gave 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact the tablet can easily fall out of the cover depending on how you handle the unit. If you lean the tablet forward it will easily fall out of the keyboard cover. So if you are laying down and the tablet is slightly elavated it will fall foward forcing you to catch the tablet before it falls to the floor. It is really meant for a flat surface parallel to the floor so the tablet does not lean forward.

2 things I don't like about it: It's not a stiff material which doesn't give as much protection to the tablet as my old Tab S4 keyboard cover. The S9 doesn't "clip" in to this keyboard cover which is not very secure. It just uses magnetism which caused it to slip out of the keyboard cover already for me and hit the floor. It left me holding the keyboard cover in my hand with no tablet!! I wish Samsung or someone would come up with an alternative. I do like the physical keyboard, though.

I'll start with the one negative I have with the cover keyboard - The back cover has a feature to securely hold you S Pen. The holder completely covers the pen and you won't ever lose the pen carrying the tablet. That said, The new Galaxy S Pen Creator Edition is too long to fit in the holder. Is this a problem with the case or the pen? You decide. The case otherwise is perfect. It does not add any bulk to the tablet. It attaches to the tablet magnetically and the magnets are STRONG! The keyboard detaches from the tablet and cover and magnetically snaps back in place to reattach. The built-in back rest is strong and firmly holds the in the tilt position you want. The keyboard sits flat on the work surface the keystokes have a very nice, tactile feels. If you want to protect your Galaxy Tab S9 / Tab S9 FE this is a very good choice

I like the keyboard better than others that I have used. However, when I play some of my games, I can't use the numbers as I should be able to. I have to click somewhere else to be able to use that. That part is annoying to me as all the other keys work as they should. I shouldn't have to click somewhere else to use the numbers when the numbers are at the top of the keyboard. Please fix this in your future keyboards.

First time using a shortened keyboard, I have to say that this cover/ keyboard combo feels perfectly complimentary to the tablet. It's easy to don or doff, set up, get to typing or use as just a stand. All of it feels like a great quality with attention to detail kind of product. The pen holder in the back is a nice touch, being that it's an extra bit of a safeguard to making sure nothing knocks the pen off. I expected to just have this kept on the side and use it when I want to type but even flipping backwards there's just enough material to hold onto that it's a pretty good booklet style cover. I will honestly be surprised if anyone gets this and doesn't like it. The only thing I can be worried about is after a few years of use, folding it back and forth might wear down the plastic fold, but it feels like a pretty good, rubberized kind of plastic that makes me doubt this will be an issue, only time will tell.

I love how slim & elegant this case is. It's easy & quick to pop in and out of the keyboard attachment. It's not going to protect your tablet as well as a traditional case would, so if you have kiddos around who like to play on your tablet...keep it out of sight :) But I prefer this case for it's functionality over protection.

I like the look and feel of this keyboard. However, there are two very annoying design flaw that I found. 1. There are no indicator for caps lock. 2. The shift key always have a latency causing few letters to be uppercase while I AM perssing just for one letter (AS it can be seen here in "AS", and "I Am").

Very nice keyboard, including a great cover for my S9 tablet. I appreciate the way it gets energy from the tablet, where my previous S2 keyboard had its own battery and had to be charged separately. I also had to remember to turn off the S2 keyboard, so it wouldn't run its battery down.

I'm giving this 2 stars because it really is a nice cover but there is no way to disable the keyboard feature, which was frustrating. I looked online for instructions to do so but could not find any. I ended up purchasing a much less expensive cover without the keyboard attached.

This keyboard cover gets the job done, but for the price, I would've prefered somthing that doesn't show as many fingerprints. Also, I wish the keybord would fold backwards so I could hide it when drawing on a flat surface. This also lacks a backlight and a dedicated ESC key.

The fit and protection is good, it's very slim and is much easier and faster to type than using the onscreen keyboard, can also be used with a tablet stand, I will be getting one for my other tablet as well.

This keyboard is responsive and well laid out. Whisper-light and quiet, I have had no issues. It keeps the pen in place to charge as well as protecting the tablet with almost no additional bulk.

I want to like this so much, but the absolute lack of protection it provides makes it unusable. If you aren't concerned about that part it is a perfectly fine keyboard and works very well.

This is a decent accessory, but absolutely over priced. I'll just list the cons right away before addressing what I like about it: 1. No backlit keys, despite the Tab S9 Ultra version having this feature. Unacceptable at this price point. 2. The F keys are combined with the number keys, instead of being separate (the Tab S9 Plus and Tab S9 Ultra have separate F keys). This makes using them cumbersome. 3. Will not protect the tablet from drops. To be fair, it does make taking it off fast since it's a magnetized case, and it allows the keyboard to attach and detach easily. Just keep in mind that this doesn't protect the sides of the tablet at all, and won't absorb shock well - especially on the back of the tablet. 4. As I've already said, but just to make it clear - it is overpriced. Having said that, here are the things I like about this accessory: 1. The keyboard is easy to attach/detach with the magnet to the bottom of the tablet, and the kickstand on the back is fairly rigid/stable with a great range of angles to adjust to. 2. There's also the fact that it draws power from the tablet, so there's no need to charge it separately.
