It holds a ton of laundry and it's great for my king size comforters and pet beds. The active water jet feature is nice for pre-treating but that is not a feature I see myself using very often. I do love the SmartThings app. That is going to come in very handy. It was easy to download and set up my appliances. I like that it lets you know how much time you have left on your cycle and it also has downloadable recipes that you can send to your washing machine to customize your wash experience further. Even my pet laundry comes out surprisingly clean.

The drum is nice and large, so I can easily fit bedding in. I love this washer so far, and I think I still have some learning to do. The adults benefit as well, because there are so many options for washing all of our laundry. The pre-washing feature is what I have been looking for all my laundry life without knowing it. Now I don't have to try to wash things out in the kitchen and then walk them to the washer. The machine is also so large that no matter how many sports practices, events or swimming parties my boys have been to, my washer kept up with the demand. The one difficulty is the depth. I am only 5'3", and there has been some struggling with getting to the bottom, but worth it all for the efficiency.

It is a small place but due to our dogs and kids we realized quickly that we needed to be able to do laundry here. Unlike my original washer, this washer allows for multiple big blankets that our dogs get dirty and handles our comforters and blankets with no issues. I am shorter but don't have a problem getting laundry out of the bottom of the washer - this was my concern moving from a front loading washer to a top loading one! We also have a Samsung range that is smart things capable so we’re able to access using wifi. Pretty high tech. Set up was quick and easy (done by my husband!)

We have never had an impeller type washing machine always the agitator type. It has a lot of cycle to choose from and the app is handy for keeping up with when it's done. We are really busy and sometimes we forget about the laundry and leave it in the washing machine for days at a time but with this app it sends you a message to let you know it's finished. The app was easy to set up and is pretty user friendly. I also really like the control buttons on this washer.

One of my absolute favorite features that it has is the ability to connect to my Amazon Alexa and will announce when my washer is done. I am a very busy mama, wife and rancher and I need something that can cut through all the dirt and whatever gets on my clothes. This machine does exactly that. It gets my clothes clean and I love that I can pick what size I need to not waste water. One downside I have found is that this is a tall washer, I am not. I have to stand on a step stool to reach the bottom of the washer, I am 5'3" for a reference. It is a deep barrel which also means it can hold a lot.

We didn't even know about one feature of this washer that has become our favorite. It has a spout where you can get a stream of water to come out into the tub! While not an actual sink, it is awesome for pre-soaking something and scrubbing out hard stains. With the Samsung app, we know when the load is done so we cant start another. Which also is less loads now with this increased capacity. This has been a great purchase and we look forward to doing laundry now!

A very well excellently built washing machine from the ground up. Built to classic style standards of brands of namesake, this machine is Samsung built namesake. Excellent drum and basket guarding, fully encapsulated heavy duty drive motor, belt drive, the only thing I can see that would make this machine stellar is a recirculating pump lint trap and that will earn another star+. This machine is easy to balance and setup, super quiet and excellent washing cycles with an awesome step up drain and spin into high speed spin cycle. This machine will last a long time with proper maintenance.

I love the ease of getting a load started, and how quickly I can load the machine and get to washing my clothes. There are a few features I really enjoy. I am getting used to the water jet, and I really hope to use it more, but on the surface it is a complete GameChanger over other machines. Second, I actually love having the middle agitator. It seems to wash my clothes more completely and keep them from getting tangled or bunched up. I need to do more studying to figure out the “downloaded” function, but I know that will come with time. For now, such a great change over the previous washer and my clothes are coming out cleaner and fresher each wash!

No more accidentally slamming the lid closed with the slow close lid, lots of wash options, i use heavy wash most often, and a nice shiny app to come with it as well! I like that it has an "extra full" fill option for when you have a big load you wanna cram in there. The noise level has been minimal compared to what i am used to. Its been washing my clothes very thoroughly and hasnt even gone out of balance with my big heavy king size comforter! Overall, I would recommend!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WASHER. While I don't have an agitator, the impeller version has very slow and gentle wash cycles that don't create enough water current for the clothes to be cleaned properly. I have calibrated and recalibrated but that makes no difference for the wash cycle power. The Heavy Duty, Deep Wash cycles, and Heavy soil settings also make no difference to the movement of the wash, they just add more time to the cycle. While the capacity of the washer is great, the slowness of the impeller seems like a big waste. I much preferred the power of my old washer.

I just bought this washer 5 days ago. They only thing that I don’t like is the agitation. It’s not as strong and powerful scrubbing action as my previous washer. My Kenmore was more powerful and tough stains was easier to remove. Don’t like it is time consuming to wash a load of clothes, most cycles take a hour+ except for quick wash. Wish it was a little less time for doing a load of laundry. I like most of the features, great to be able to select my water levels too. Wish it was the same for timing of washing. Overall will recommend not a bad washer for the price tag.

With this washer we were able to cut our loads of laundry down by 1/3! Not only does it fit more, it cleans A LOT better than any front oad we had. It has a soft close lid which makes sure that I don't slam it and wake the kids up and while running Samsung has done some magic to make sure it's as quiet as possible, which in an old house is crucial. There's a reason that top load washers are making a comeback and this unit answers as to why!

This is the worst washing machine I have ever had! Constantly says that the load is unbalanced. Constantly have to spin it to get the water out. Why does the water have to be on in order to spin it a second time? There is a button for rinse and spin. I choose the spin only button and it still wants to fill with water. This machine wastes so much water. My bills are so high because of it! I don’t suggest anyone buy this. It takes a whole day to do one load. By that time I take the clothes out and have to ring them by hand and hang them to get all of the water out.

I was amazed when I witnessed the first run cycle. The inner tub was spinning and I couldn't hear it even while the agitator was engaged. I found it to have deceptively more capacity in the inside. I was able to put in blankets with not problem. We were able to connect it to the smartthings app and have control over it. I found the dials easy to use and am very happy with how clean my laundry is coming out especially when I use quick wash.

Honestly it's a really good washer, the only thing I don't like about it is that the self cleaner is too frequent. After you've done a load of laundry the machine stays turned on and suggest the self cleaner, it's about an hour long cycle, which in my opinion is a waste, if only it didn't suggest it so frequently it'd be perfect. Overall it's great, plenty of room especially for those big loads. I've had no issues so far.

Love this washer and not just because anything is better than the 32+ year old beast that finally died. Does a great job, controls are straightforward with plenty of options without being daunting. Love the clear lid. The size allows doing a bedspread at home rather than going to a laundromat for it. Spins well so drying time is less than with my old beast. Quiet while running and someone had fun with the control sounds, very punny to have The Trout Quintet as the cycle end sound.

The washing machine is not functional at all, its axis is not strong enough when it spins to dry the clothes, it seems that you have to weigh each side to balance the clothes so that they do not stop, every time I wash clothes I have to arrange all the wings clothes so that the washing machine does not crash, I really feel robbed and a terrible team, the quality control of this team did not realize this, I personally hope that no one buys these washing machines anymore.

They have a flat clean look that I like, For both units the Smart things app is cool. I particularly like the ability to remote start things. It is also nice to get an end of cycle warning. The washer is loaded. It has all sorts of cycles and I really liked the built in water tap. No need for a separate laundry sink to pretreat. It does well with vibration, and the lid closes slowly 9not smashing down. I was concerned about a top load washer, bit it is actually easier to move items to the dryer without dropping them on the floor. It looks good, self-cleans, and does everything well. The clear top is a cool feature, and I found myself watching the clothing being cleaned. Most important: It gets my dirty clothing clean.

I absolutely love my washer and dryer. After going 6 years without a washer and dryer and the extreme cost having to washer at the laundromat was insane. My husband bought me this washing machine about 6 months ago. It makes the most gawd awful noise when spinning. I have tried troubleshooting and replace the bearings but it still does the same thing. I barely have anything in the washing machine. No matter what I try it creates the same noise. I have never overloaded it. I keep the middle clear and arrange clothes or towels around the sides.

I was surprised at just how many clothes you can wash in one load with the large drum capacity. It has an agitator and I was still able to wash a king sized comforter! I love that it has a deep fill setting which is necessary for large loads. I have a Samsung phone, so already had the Smart-Things, but connecting the washer to it was quick and easy. The app has a ton of "laundry recipes" which are helpful if you don't know which of the many washing cycles to use. It's also nice to be able to see where you are at in the washing cycle without going out to the laundry room. Another thing I really like is the built in waterjet - I have found this super helpful when pretreating the many stains that are on my kiddos clothes. My only complaint is that it is kind of noisy when the agitator is turning during the wash cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got this washer, I immediately connected it to my Samsung Smart Things phone app and my voice assistance service. I haven't had a new washer in over 7 years so I was really excited to have a smart device. I did have a little bit of a learning curve, getting used to a new appliance with more washing options. Therefore, one of my favorite features on the Smart Things app is Laundry Recipe. I can input what I want to wash and it will suggest the best setting to use. As long as my washer is on, it can then send the recipe to my washer. Another of my favorite features is using Smart Things to check on what cycle of the wash my clothes are on and how much longer it has. I can even use my voice assistant service to ask how much longer the load has to wash if I want to go hands free. Additionally, it does a great job of removing dirt, tough stains, and even odors from my family's clothing. I am so glad I chose this device! I highly recommend it!

The size is good, and the appears is good. But loads that I do with sheets and blankets, there are always dry spots. Sometimes it's a full circle of dryness with the sheets pulled tautly. Also as a shorter person, I cannot reach the bottom of the tub to gather the laundry without stepping on a stool and almost falling in.

This washer leaves HORRIBLE stains on clothes. I have ran the "clean cycle" every time it's recommended, and we have deep cleaned around the bottom drain area. It leaves 2" rust colored marks each load. It is especially noticeable on whites. It has ruined SOOO many clothes. Would NOT recommend this washer.

I can almost never get the washer to spin. It is consistently unbalanced. I take the clothes out and rearrange them multiple times. I have reduced load size. I have calibrated. Nearly every cycle I am getting an error and dealing with sopping wet clothes. It takes hours to do one load or to dry the wet clothes

This washer is terrible. I have had problems since we got it a week ago. Every load comes up error DC4. You troubleshoot, get a load done and it happens again. Everytime the load is either unbalanced or it's not draining right. The lid lock does not unlock, so your clothes are stuck in there, so you can't try to make them balanced. Once the lid does unlock ( I can't find a switch to switch the darn lid lock off). You have to take everything out that is now drenched and try to figure put how ro balance it. Plus this should have an automatic water level setting. I shouldn't have to choose it every darn time. Why get a digital washer if it doesn't come programmed. Worst washer ever. The dryer in this pair sucks too. Foor is flimsy and should have a handle at the top not just on the side. Door doesn't open very far. Plus the darn thing is like 2 inches off the ground so you have to squat to get your things out. The design team for this pair should be fired if they haven't been already

I own this trash. It never runs a full cycle. Spin only will resoak clothes wasting water then get unbalanced again and you have to start over. Every time it stops it bangs around very loud. I changed the heating element to the dryer twice already. Third time was the charm. Don't buy this trash.

Connwcting the app to Alexa allows for an announcement on all your devices letting you know the cycle is done, great for those laundry rooms that are in the basement or garage where you might hear the cute melody that plays at the end. I check the app to see how much time is left all the time. Plus the app allows you to see the energy usage or start the washer when you're away from home. Besides all of that are all of the options to choose, from normal to bedding to quick wash for when you're in a hurry and more. The best part is the water jet, it's like a faucet in your washer! No more do you have to scrub your items in the bathroom or kitchen then drip water across the house to throw it the washer. All the mess can be contained by using the water jet located next to the detergent and softer drawer. I couldn't be happier with my new washer, it's so easy to use and makes laundry a breeze to do.

This washer is junk. Do not waste your money on this. The only time it doesn’t end up unbalanced every spin cycle is when it’s empty. Small loads of clothes end up taking hours because it becomes unbalanced. And bedding… forget it. It’s so bad I’ll never buy anything Samsung again.

When this opportunity came up to get this I was so excited. It was a huge savings on price which helped us afford it. But moving on. I am so amazed at this washer, it is sooooo quiet. I love it. I have a 7 month old and to have a washer that is quiet is amazing. (Wish I would of had it sooner) even during the spin cycle it isn't loud like most are. And it also doesn't shake like a earthquake like my old washer. It has the app which I will admit I am not very tech savvy and I probably won't use it often. But I do find it handy to get a notice when the load is done washing. Because again it being so quiet I don't hear when it's done. Which is a good thing, but then I forget for a little while and have to put in the dryer a little later. I have noticed it spins very well and gets a lot of the water out which is good. Cuts back on dry time. I definitely recommend this washer to anyone looking to buy a new one.

My dad bought this washer a couple years ago and it worked for a year and a half until it kept coming unbalanced. Currently, It's taking me almost an hour to wash 6 small pieces of clothes. This washer is a piece of junk. And I don't think fixing it will help anything.

I’m extremely disappointed with both the Samsung washer I purchased and the customer service experience that followed. The washer has never pulled hot water, which is a basic and essential function. I reached out to Samsung for warranty service, and they sent a technician. Shockingly, the technician claimed “there’s nothing wrong” – even though the washer still does not use hot water at all. It was clear that no real diagnostic was done. When I contacted Samsung’s customer service and warranty support team again, I was told “there’s nothing we can do about it.” This is completely unacceptable for a product that’s still under warranty and clearly malfunctioning. I trusted the Samsung brand, but this experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Poor product quality is one thing, but the lack of accountability and basic customer support is inexcusable. I will not be buying another Samsung appliance, and I strongly caution others to consider a different brand – especially if you expect your warranty to mean anything.

nothing but problems. Setting it up the instructions say to level the machine, but it dose not give instructions where to place a level. There is nothing on the machine that is level its all slanted or has curves. The machine takes for ever to wash there are too many features, we only use two or three. The added technology has just over complicated washing cloths. Due to this the efficiency discussion is a waste of time because it takes hours to wash a load. We can not fill the machine to capacity because it simply dose not wash properly then spinning out is a whole other issue. It most often is unbalanced and I have researched on line how to fix it and it is all useless information. I am looking to replace mine with something that resembles an older style and has less features. My wife literally hates this machine. It has doubled our time to do laundry. Then it dose not always get the cloths clean as we would like. I would avoid at all costs. If you want one you can have mine to try and you will learn it is over complicated junk.

I hate this washer it is always unbalanced. i have spent 3 hours doing 1 load it is ridiculous. I have to go into the washer and move the laundry around and it is still off balance. I am so frustrated every time I do laundry.

The worst washer I've ever had in 50 years. Stays off balance, continually resets itself. Leave clothes dirty. Washers I've given away are still in use and a better product. Never again will I buy a Samsung appliance.
