I recently received my Samsung Galaxy watch 9 on the 5th of August,2026. I do not even know from where to start. This is my first ever smart watch, and this review might not go through everthing. I am just giving my honest opinion. The customization, comfort, and simplicity of using this watch has been a life changer for me. I am able to chose whichever image, stats, clock type is very great, as I can always change my options to have a different look at the tap of hand. I also have the watch on when going to sleep, so I can get tracks to how my oxygen intake, sleep score, and energy will be for the next day. The watch looks and feels super durable, and straps do not move an inch if somone tries pulling them. The Battery is great so far, as I do need to give the watch sometime to learn and adapt to my usage, habits, and some updates that go in the background for it. I try to charge the watch around 25-30% to full, so I can have it ready for sleep tracking. The accuracy of the watch is 100% on point with my phone, I can always feel confident when getting the exact time from it when my phone is out of reach, or when driving. Overall, it's a very great for watch for daily usage, stylish design, affordable, and so comfortable that I do not even feel it on my wrist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im very health conscious and wanted the latest and greatest that Samsung had. I chose this watch because it had all the latest features. Well I have found that with all these new features you give up battery life. The watch has no battery life at ALL. I have to charge it daily. I will go to bed at 100% and wake up with it between 75 - 80% battery life. When i go to the battery settings its shows that the battery life is 1d 11h. I previously had the watch 7 and it easily lasted 4 days or 5 if i shut down the features. I guess with all the new features and the AI its just not worth it at this time. Im disappointed as i had such high hopes.

This year they increase the battery size and I was a huge fan of that. I also like the fact that they increase the brightness of the watch screen in addition to the battery size so the watch face is now brighter. My last Galaxy watch survived a motorcycle accident so clearly they are built tough and I will continue to get a new watch when they release as I look forward to new features. I would be a huge fan of eliminating the bezel around the watch in the future so they could increase the screen size without increasing the watch size.

I couldn't be more happier. the watch first well with two sliders to keep it snug. The apps transferred from my old watch and had alot of other apps included. The set up was fast and convenient. I couldn't have asked for better experience. I also have the samsung galaxy note 20 5G linked to the watch and I also added a data plan which was awesome because my old one didn't have one and I couldn't get calls unless I had my phone. Now I can receive and make calls without my phone. I love it.

Setting up the features that I want to see and use on a daily basis couldn't be simpler than a press of a few buttons. I'm a long time fan of Samsung and their products. My whole home ecosystem is actually Samsung products and with smart things, I can control it all right from my wrist. If you are looking for a watch or wearable that is easy to use with Android, I highly recommend Samsung and the galaxy line of products. They continue to impress me with how seamlessly their products work with each other and the quality of their products. 10/10 would highly recommend to family and friends all the time.

After considerable consideration and talks with my fiancée, it became clear to us that it was. I previously had the galaxy watch 7, and honestly I was amazed with how well it worked. There were somethings I missed out on that the new models had but wasnt a big issue for me. If you can get a major discount on the watch like I did, the galaxy watch 9 is EASILY worth it. Im not too sure how it holds up against the 8, but I havent been let down. Also the battery life on this thing is really good so far. Thats with all the settings turned on and it lasts 2 days on a single charge.

I don't wear a lot of jewelry or watches partly because I work in health care, partly because I don't like how it feels wearing watches, rings ect. With the Galaxy watch 9, I don't even notice it. Si vous avez déjà la 7 ou la 8, pas la peine de changer. Je voulais une taille plus grande, la 44mm, j'ai opté pour cette Watch 9. La batterie tient toujours juste une journée si vous faites un minimum attention. La rapidité de la nouvelle puce ne se ressent pas pour l'instant, mais cela pourrait arriver avec les futures mises à jour. Si c'est votre première montre Samsung, pas de soucis, autant prendre la plus récente.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2009 I suffered three massive brain hemorrhages while giving birth to my son and ever since I've had lasting memory loss we never thought about getting a watch that could help me through my day and since how I'm feeling and monitor where I am just in case I get lost because I can't even remember how to get home anymore. With my brain injury I hardly keep in touch with anybody I know because I don't have the wherewithal to pick up my phone and text or call someone but with the watch I chose from Samsung I am able to feel a little more safe knowing that my watch can always bring me back home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am a Samsung fan since the Note 2, and after trying various watches I decided a more minimalist watch since my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2024 just started feeling too big and heavy for me. I chose to upgrade because this watch has the new Snapdragon processor, it has a bright display, and all the features I've come to expect in a daily wear Watch. The operating system is smooth and efficient enough to last me throughout the whole day. It is lightweight and very stylish especially the white color it goes with my new Fold 8. I still need to dive deeper into the health features but already did one night of the sleep apnea and link to my service provider since i chose the LTE model over the Wi-Fi for convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth Galaxy watch dating back to the gear S3 Frontier. My most recent watch was the Galaxy watch 7 which I loved. So far I enjoy the new Galaxy watch 9 but my only complaint is the small band that it comes with is not comparable inside to the Galaxy watch 7. It barely fits my wrist and I will not be faced with having to buy a new watch band when in watches past the small band fit with three to four loops of excess room. Otherwise I really like the fitness of the watch 9 compared to the watch 7 and find that it forms to my wrist so much better. The battery seems to be a little better as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Galaxy watch. I chose the 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 for the size and styling. I also chose the Misty Blue band and I really like the look. I am Super happy with the improvements in the GPS response when I start a workout. I feel like the profile is a little lower but it has a more Square or Boxy look. So far everything is working great. I also chose the Misty Black band and I also like this look. I have the small medium band and wear it on the 4 th whole but sometimes place it at the 5 th hole.

However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've upgraded my Galaxy watch every year since my all time favorite, the Watch Active 2. The Watch9 may just be my new favorite. I chose the 44mm size for the biggest possible battery. Im so happy it doesn't require charging every day! I wasn't super excited about the "squircle" design change but this time I got black and it looks really sharp. I rely on the health monitors daily and I appreciate how long the blood pressure monitor works before needing to be recalibrated. It has all the health monitors I regularly rely on and several more. The new sport band still feels like sport, while looking more traditional. This watch is a winner

One of my favorite things about the watch is the display. The screen is bright, clear, and easy to read, even when I’m outside. Everything looks sharp, and navigating through the different apps and features is simple. The watch also feels very high-quality without feeling overly bulky on my wrist. I can wear it comfortably for most of the day and even overnight. The health and fitness features are another major reason I like this watch. I really enjoy being able to keep up with my daily steps, heart rate, workouts, sleep, and other health information all in one place. I like that it includes metabolic monitoring and antioxidant levels. The bad is the battery. The first day I had it have every feature turned on to see what the life was like. I was at 100% when I put it on at bedtime and in 24 hours it was down to 25%. Today I turned off constant hr function and put on battery saving 11:30 pm last night to 6 pm tonight it is down to 64% so much better with power saving turned on. At that rate it may make it almost 2 days without a charge. I would prefer at least 3 days but its not a deal breaker for me

It is going to take getting use to not have that. I also miss the more defined buttons. That being said set up was smooth. It is fast and has many new features that I will enjoy using. I got the fabric band, which is very comfortable. My only complaint with it is that it is not easy to get it to charge with my Samsung trio charger. Probably going to look at a different band. I am sure that as I spend more time with the Watch 9, it will become just as comfortable and useful as my Watch 6 Classic has been.

The battery life is a bit low and the responsiveness of the screen and UI has always felt a bit delayed, but otherwise I've had no complaints with the Gen 8. I mainly use it for health tracking and exercise tracking while listening to music or audio books. The upgrade to the Galaxy watch 9 seems to be marginal at best. It has slightly better battery life and has a slightly snappier feel to the UI overall, otherwise it maintains the strengths of the 8th gen and remains very comfortable and practical. I love the idea of the Galaxy watch ultra and it's much larger battery, but I prioritize the slim design and much reduced weight compared to the ultra model.

Las mediciones que hace son precisas y tiene multitud de opciones para medir parámetros de tu salud. Como menos positivo la duración de la bateria. Apenas dura 24 horas teniendo desactivado opciones como AOD, frecuencia cardiaca cada 10 minutos y GPS desactivado. Creo que habria que sacar una actualización para mejorar esta autonomía y que durara al menos 10-12 horas más.

It has a slimmer look and feel, the battery life is noticeably longer, and it's features operate faster. I like to some aspects of my health, so the vitals dashboard is a nice feature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Watch Ultra -- the sixth Galaxy Watch I've owned -- had been tracking my sleep erratically. The Galaxy Ring has been a nice interim solution, but the new Galaxy Watch 9 fits my aging, boney wrist much better and I'm betting the enhanced software and sensors will ensure better sleep tracking. My wife and I -- both born in the 1940s -- are inveterate fans of all the other health tracking functions available on our Galaxy watches. We're also big fans of Samsung's trade-in program. We were probably among the first to preorder and get the new Watch 9. Ours arrived at 3PM today, August 5, two days earlier than projected. By 5PM our new watches had already recorded the 2,100 steps it took for us to walk to the nearest UPS store where we dropped off our old watches for return to Samsung. Many thanks!

It keeps me informed of most importantly the time and distance I have made every 10 minutes. It keeps me on track with other activities of the day. The first thing I noticed was how light and comfortable the device felt against my wrist. Coming from the watch 6 classic, this device felt impossibly light and thin. The software of the device was unmatched. From scrolling on the watch to utilizing Gemni, I've noticed no lags so far. That is why I am glad that I chose to upgrade to the galaxy watch 9.

All have been durable and reliable and I expect no less of the "9". The feel and operation of the watch seems first class and user friendly. The ability to receive notifications and keep my phone silent is priceless. Apps intergrate seamlessly with my watch and the Watch 9 is a valuable extension to my phone. Watch system is very intuitive and convenient to operate and health features can be very valuable to many. Great to keep up with activities such as hiking which I enjoy. Map navigation is also a big plus on this watch. Again, the Galaxy Watch 9 is a great extension of my phone.

All the things I love about my Galaxy Watch but even better. I love the health tracking features. I chose the Galaxy 9 over the Ultra since I don't run trails or deep dive and because I do like the smaller profile. It's Beautiful. You cannot beat the Galaxy watch paired with my Galaxy phone. I'm a Samsung Fan.

I have been wearing the watch for over 15 years. I started with the Galaxy watch 2. Now I'm on 9, it is amazing. One of the best watches yet. I love that I can check my heart rate, keep up with my steps, even talk on my watch. Get messages when I can't get to my phone. Its essential to me. I wear it everyday. Here's to many more 🎉.

The new Watch 9 has all these features and does not dissapoint. The only caveat however, is its incompatibilty with my two charging watch and phone stands that I have for upstairsand downstairs. I no longer am able to use them for charging my watch. Hopefully the next version will be compatible.
