Utilisé sous Ubuntu exclusivement pour stocker ma bibliothèque Steam / Proton, sans système installé dessus. Le SSD fonctionne parfaitement sous Linux avec Steam et Proton, aucun souci de compatibilité ou de stabilité. Les téléchargements de jeux sont hyper rapide. Les chargements de jeux sont extrêmement rapides et la réactivité générale est excellente, même sur des jeux lourds. Installé sur un port PCIe 5.0 compatible, les performances sont impressionnantes tout en gardant de très bonnes températures : environ 55°C maximum sous forte charge gaming, ce qui est excellent pour un SSD NVMe hautes performances grâce au block de refroidissement du ssd de ma carte b650 steel legend d Asrock sur le port blazing Très satisfait de ce SSD pour une utilisation gaming Linux / Steam / Proton. » je recommande fortement si vous avez un port M2 compatible. Excellent SSD pour le gaming sous Linux Configuration utilisée : AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Intel Arc A750 32 Go DDR5 Ubuntu + Steam + Proton Résolution 2560×1080 Résultats observés : • Jeux 2012–2018 : performances environ x2 (ex : 50 → 115 FPS) • Jeux récents : gain de 10 à 25 FPS selon les moteurs • Streaming d’assets extrêmement rapide • Chargements très courts • Frametime beaucoup plus stable → sensation de grande fluidité Sur ma configuration Linux, ce SSD a supprimé un goulot d’étranglement lié au stockage et a nettement amélioré les performances et la fluidité en jeu. Je recommande fortement pour les joueurs utilisant Steam et Proton.

Oh my.gawd. I first seen her in the hands of a tech wizard playing on my 70in samsung oled tv. Thinking.of how much her and I could do with all her chunky but amazingly fast storage. I grabbed my s24 ultra to find her online and get all the details I could. As im scrolling on all her pages my scroll wheel came to an abrupt stop. My eyes started filling up and I let out a quick but audible cry. You wonder what it was that caused a reaction like that to come from a grown masculine man that I am. well good for you I remember that moment in life that'll stay with me. Llike the day you had to push the lever on your toilet as you watch your bestfriend go in clockwise circles sinking further down the bowl while saying your goodbyes and how he was the best gold fish ever. Well back to the heart stoping moment. Right there under the name and product photo, which is very beautiful I might say.. was.. the price (OH MY LAWRD). Gazing at it thinking what i would have to give up for a few months to afford that first special date with her. Well I ended up eating dehydrated noodles for 6 months straight. You ponder to yourself as why it took 6 mouths.. well.... I ended up finding twins and they we're both bigger then the 4tb I laid my eyes on at first. After a year I needed to get a bigger girl for my ps5. Thats when I found this beautiful one and may I say how well her and my ps5 jived. Like two old soul mates coming back together in eachothers live. Being seperated for a few centuries they just worked so well as one. But to wrap this up, If there was one thing I would put above all is that Linus from Linus tech tips is short.

The difference is night and day. The heating feature built-in keeps it cool so my computer doesn't overheat while using multiple applications at once and keeps my processing at peak performance. It's perfectly compatible with my set up, is very reliable, and it has optimal endurance. I highly recommend this SSD.

Performance has been consistently fast from day one, whether I'm gaming, transferring large files, or multitasking. Load times are very quick, and the low latency makes everything feel more responsive. The throughput is impressive, especially when moving large amounts of data, and I haven't noticed any slowdowns during extended use. The included heatsink does a great job with thermals, keeping temperatures under control even during heavy workloads. I've also been pleased with the endurance and reliability so far. It handles everything I throw at it without any issues, and the massive 8TB capacity means I don't have to worry about running out of space anytime soon. Overall, this is a fantastic SSD that delivers excellent speed, consistent performance, good thermal management, and plenty of storage. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one of these installed on a new PC build and it's been working on this with gaming through it the storage capacity is good although it was a bit expensive. I've never used any other m.2 before but pretty much everything in my house is Samsung so I figured why not. Hopefully when prices come down I can get a two or four terabyte version or even more gaming. It was super easy to install and my computer pick it up right away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few months ago, my Dell Inspiron 5402/5409 laptop crashed, resulting in acquiring a new Samsung Galaxy Book5 360 laptop. The differences between these two were, besides the obvious age of my Dell (manufactured 2020) vs the Book5 360 (manufactured 2025), being my Dell Inspiron using the Intel i5 processor with 24GB (upgradable to 32GB) of RAM and 1TB SSD of storage while the Book5 360 came using the Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor with a fixed (non-upgradable)16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD of storage which is half less than the predecessor. What I found great of this ssd upgrade was the ease of installation, not to mention the Book5 360 having an additional M.2 2280 slot, giving the system a total of 1.5TB of storage while boosting read and write speed - effectively outperforming the older Dell even with more RAM. This upgrade has made my work, school studies and projects easier to construct and complete.

Like it can go on my ps5 and the load times are really fast. Even though the ps5 heats up quick I've never had a problem with the ssd overheating or anything like that so even when ps5 heats up it stays cooler than the ps5 and on the pc I only have main programs like booting programs and that way is more efficient booting up my computer as it reads the boot up programs faster than old hard disk drive which makes it a very more efficient device.
