Battery Life Plasma TV arrived with 4 pairs of these glasses with batteries plus 4 extra batteries. First pair, battery died after first movie. Second pair, same thing... it lasted through one movie than blinked "Battery Low". All four of the spare batteries arrived dead and could not be used for a single movie. I called Samsung and they did sound very interested/concerned with my experience. I admitted that I had not yet tried all 4 pairs of glasses, but would do so in order to give them the benefit of the doubt. I mean, after all, they claim these glasses will last 70-hours of movie watching on a single battery. By the time I had tried them all on 3D movies I can confirm that they will almost/sometimes last through three movies before the battery is too low to maintain themselves in 3D mode. I tend to pause and rewind during movies a lot when I’m watching by myself so a 2-hour movie can take me 3-4 hours to actually watch. With this being the case, they last me about 12-16 hours on a single battery, very far less than the 70-hours they claim. Temple/arm The weakest point on the frames is where the arm slides into the frame to adjust size. With no abuse other than sliding them onto heads, 3 out of 4 have broken in exactly that spot. This is the exact same problem my kids had with their PS-3 headphones that came with the game SOCOM, and they were made by Logitech. In both cases this is the thinnest spot for the plastic and the only location that has to be (or even can be) manipulated for fit. My workaround is to use a hot-glue gun and build up the area around this weak spot, of course that means they can never again be adjusted, but hey, it saves $20 bucks each. And they will break, with absolutely no effort, and sooner rather than later.

The part that goes through your ears broke easily. This part should have been reinforced with wire. Unfortunately, this is the only model that is compatible with UN55JU7100, from what i was told.

I got two pairs of these glasses for my Samsung Smart TV 60" JU7090 Series. They were easy to set up, came with two batteries each, they only require 1 battery to run so it is nice you get a back up, and pair seamlessly with the TV. For the price you cannot beat these glasses. The active 3D also is very good for home TV 3D. Very happy with this product!

Bought glasses, but received a back order notice. Not even a week later, received a shipped notice. Fantastic glasses, guessing very popular by the "back order". I would definitely buy another pair. When they come in, you do have to assemble the 2 side pieces that fit on your ears. They snap in though. Comes with 2 batteries. Requires only 1 to work.

Im sure 99% is my new SUHD 4K TV but these glasses are great for viewing 3D movies and i think they are comfortable to wear. My son has 6 Samsung tvs and he says this new one of mine the new 4K has a way better 3D than any of his older models. But back to the glasses they work like they are suppose to. Shaded enough to get all the detail in the back ground, so you actually see things you didn't see before with the old glasses.

It would of been 5 Stars across the board but they are not rechargeable. They are light weight and hardly noticeable when watching a movie. Easily can be worn with glasses, my 9yr old and wife both can wear them with their glasses and no issues.

These being polarization based actively shuttered glasses, one can expect color fidelity and overall good performance when paired correctly. My UN55JS8500 does not appear to have trouble with that. However, my biggest surprise was that the claimed 70 hours of battery life were much shorter in real life. On the first day (!) I played with the glasses for a few minutes and they may have spent an hour or two in standby when I realized that the battery power dropped from 100% to about 1/3. That's the equivalent of one movie, with less than half a movie left!!!! As mentioned, it shouldn't be due to not powering them off when not used as there wasn't much idle time to begin with (same day). But even if there was, the on/off state is difficult to determine as supposedly they blink 3x when turning on or off in green or red respectively. Well sometimes they blink once in the expected color and sometimes one green one red blink. No idea which state we're in if the tv wouldn't at least at pairing notify you. With the tv off it's virtually impossible to figure out whether it's on or off. Other than that, the design is good and fits even large heads without feeling bulky. They are glasses you you'll end up looking thru frames, but it's bearable and the 3D in some movies is worth it.

So I've had my television, the 55HU9000, for about a year now. The television is amazing, easily the best one I've owned ever. These glasses though are terrible. I purchased the television as an upgrade from my previous 55B8000 because I wanted something with 4k and 3d. The television came with 4 pairs of glasses and 8 batteries and as Samsung advertises the average battery life is about 70 hours. So if you think about it 8 batteries should last a little over 500 hours of 3d viewing. I've watched maybe 10 3D movies since purchasing the television and all the original batteries are dead. I went out and purchased new batteries last month when Mad Max Fury Road came out on Blu-Ray. I put a fresh battery into a pair of glasses and they worked amazingly. I finished the film ensured the television and glasses were all powered off and put the glasses away. A few weeks later I go to watch Avengers Age of Ultron after it was released on 3D Blu-Ray and the battery is dead. I haven't put anywhere near 70 hours of 3-D viewing into the television let alone get that from a single battery. Samsung has yet to provide rechargeable 3-D glasses for this or any future 3-D television which I would gladly purchase to avoid never having to use these terrible battery operated glasses again. Samsung makes amazing products in general but avoid having to use these glasses if you can. They are complete and utter trash.

Worked fine when I first bought them. Watched one movie and turned them off. Days later tried to watch something else and got the red blinking light. Replaced batts with supplied spares and no change. What a waste. And of course the rechargeable pair will not work with my series. Why is there no rechargeable glasses for H7150?

Having bought 6 glasses I noticed them failing one by one. With new batteries installed they will not connect with the tv. Only 1 pair still works. When you try to turn them on the green light goes on then changes to red and it powers off.

My F8500 tv came with 4 pairs of glasses. Over the last 11 months, six of the ear pieces have broken off as I had them sitting on my head...all in exactly the same way at the location where they connect to the bridge of the glasses (where the electronics are). Samsung said "this is wear and tear". Since it's a consistent mode of breaking, it's a design flaw!!! They said I have to BUY the replacements. THANKS SAMSUNG....NOT!!! The problem is that the ear pieces are too curved and put too much stress on that little connection. If you have these glasses then you should do something to sort of straighten out the ear pieces so there's less force on the mechanical connection to the bridge.

Even though there are really not a lot of 3-D videos out there, the videos that I have seen are not like IMax 3-D showing depth and 3-D images extending outward from the TV. However, I believe that the private 3-D videos are something that never got off the ground. I would go to IMax if I want to see real 3-D.

A couple years ago, I purchased a Samsung 3D blu ray player, last year I purchased a Samsung 3D TV and now I have the 3D glasses. Does a pretty good job of adding depth to 2D content and does an amazing job of reproducing the 3D in theaters via 3D content through Samsung's SmartHub apps and 3D blu ray disc. I'm very pleased with this purchase. The only thing that would be a minor complain is that the lenses are large enough to view the television but the frames are always in your field of view so you never forget you're wearing glasses.

I've tried changing the batteries on two of my 3D glasses and I'll I can get it to do is blink green and then red and then nothing. I can't turn on, off, or sync. No place to find an answer. I'm very unhappy with Samsung.

Although the specifications printed on the box say that these glasses are "For all 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Samsung D, E, ES, F, FH, H and HU series 3D TV" -- they are NOT compatible with the FH series. The Samsung website has been updated to reflect this failing, but if you relied on what Samsung printed on the box, you're out of luck.
