Acheté il y a quelques jours, il me paraît très performant, il commande l'allumage de la télé et le basculement de source, c'est très pratique. L'afficheur est blanc très lisible et réglable en intensité. Très bon produit et prix !

Très bon lecteur Blu-ray,
jai remplacé mon ancien lecteur pour bénéficier des nouvelles fonctionnalités multiroom.
Quelle déception, lapplication ne permet aucun contrôle du contenu du disque, aucun titres nest affiché...
Laissons peut-être le temps aux développeurs samsung de fournir une application et des fonctionnalités à la hauteur de ce que propose la concurence!

Tengo este bluray desde hace dos años pero la función smart tv no la había usado hasta hace poco por no estar suscrito a canales "streaming", esta función la utilizo en una tele que no tiene smart tv, y hay apps que no me aparecen y otras que al no poder actualizarse no se pueden disfrutar del todo. Veo falta de interés en la actualización de firmware solo para provocar ventas de un producto "nuevo" que al poco también se verá desfasado.

I purposely bought a player with what appeared to be a display on the front of the unit. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered the track number is not displayed at any time.
I don't very often play DVD/Blue Rays and the player is mainly used to play audio discs.
It seems that gone are the days when you simply put in a CD and press "play" and it plays, displaying on the front of the player where you are on the disc!
Frankly, I don't see any point in having to turn on the TV to play an audio disc!

I have had this a while now and hate it! Only thing i use it for is to watch netflix because i have given up trying to use it for anything else! Internet browser is rubbish and takes forever to search for anything using the remote! Tried to connect my phone for my photos and music using the smart view app which asks for a pin that the dvd player is SUPPOSED to give you. Gave up with it now, its a basic dvd player with the plus that i can use netflix on it. Absolute rubbish! Wont buy samsung technology again.

Had this player about six months and find generally good but it will not always play bluray discs it will load but once you push play the screen says it is not supported, have looked on the web and this seems to be a general problem which Samsung has not sorted out todate.

Falta mejorar el Hub de Samsung, las apps son muy basicas y en algunas regiones no sirven, inclusive para Mexico falta la app de Claro Video, el servicio de Screening Mirroring no funciona adecuadamente y no es compatible con Iphone. I've grown up with media products from the 50's through to present day. From the VALVE radio to the transistor to the micro chip its been one heck of a roller coaster ride with tech from radio to reel to reel to cassette tape, VHS tape recording to micro Cd to DVD. A whirlwind that when the dust settles you realize whose products you are going to settle on buying IS based on such experiences that you have had over the years from radio to television to all the added extras that enhance your listening or viewing pleasure.
It's why I have developed a liking for Samsung products. Reliability, does as they say, what it says on the tin. Ease of use, a by product of strong innovation. Not just from their mobile phones but that same recognized quality where the price is a secondary consideration.
Hence, when it came to as my kids said, making the transition to upgrade my DVD player I did my research as I always do and came to the conclusion the Samsung Blu Ray BD-H6500 was not only great value for money but offered me everything I wanted INCLUDING the added bonus of several online applications PLUS being able to show off my photographic hobby; family photos and now moving onto home movies ☺
Overall the whole unit is easy to connect up, the main screen easy to navigate and use the features offered, which for someone my age as an OAP is a must. imaging playing both my normal DVD's and of course now Blu Ray is sharp, well defined and everything I expected from Samsung re visual entertainment at its best.
However !! Connect up a keyboard and you can navigate to i.e YouTube with ease, select from some of your favourites whether music or interests such as tutorials on photography, travel and a whole lot more illustrates again what an amazingly versatile piece of kit the Samsung Blu Ray player is.
It, to coin a popular phrase, is indeed; all singing and dancing.☺ Exceeded my expectations? No not really, its a quality that over 60 years I've come to recognise and Samsung for me never fails to deliver.

After an exhausting search for a Blu Ray player that is compatible with the Plex App, I found this one. I originally bought a newer model, but quickly found out that the Samsung smart devices which are Opera based are no longer compatible with Plex.
Since most of my home entertainment library is Plex based this Blu Ray player was a perfect fit for my family. I also have a Samsung LCD TV so the device was compatible right out of the box without any configuration on my part.
I was a little bit disappointed by how slow the built in internet browser was, but it certainly was not a game changer for me.
All of the apps that I have tried so far (Netflix, Plex, Facebook) work very well and I have not had any issues.
Although this particular model is more expensive than the newer model, if you are a Plex user I would highly recommend this player!

It gets the jobe done but there are a few glitches.
1) A few of my dvd's won't play (and no software updates did not help)
2) Sleek top design on top my look cool but it makes push button usage very confusing
3) would be great iff there was a way to quicken the process of typing in information on apps for search etc. maybe there is a way to piggyback it off my laptop keyboard wirelessly?

Setting up was easy and picture/sound quality is excellent. Having 'on demand' TV apps built in (including ITV player) is very useful. One small niggle: when connected to my home network and playing albums stored on my PC, all tracks are played in alphabetical order instead of track number order, and it seems this cannot be amended.

I am very pleased with the easy setup and compatible functions with my TV and Samsung Sound bar and that it integrated very easy. The setup only took a few minutes from the time I removed it from the packaging. The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact it did not include the HDMI cable. I did purchase one with gold plated tips and it works well. Overall I would suggest to others it is worth the purchase and the price was great.

I am very impressed with this Blu-ray player. SI I'm a cheapskate I do believe the price could come down 20%. But that's neither here nor there. Plenty of space for other apps to download as well as a decent selection to choose from. I do think the YouTube app could be more Interactive and user-friendly. Find it difficult to search for videos by typing. Maybe adding a voice recognition to the remote. Free million dollar idea Samsung you better run with it and if you don't cut me 1% of all profits created from that new upgrade at least give the shout out to the man who give you the brilliant idea. LOL actually a very nice Union altogether I have not had the opportunity yet to try a Blu-ray disc but if it is anything like any other Samsung product I have purchased it probably works wonderfully with excellent video quality.

I bought a new Samsung 60inch 4K 3D TV, love it.
I had been using another brand Blu-ray player for years with just minor problems.
Ordered that same brand for the 4K up converting. Went through 3 of them and never could get it to work right with the Samsung TV. They would hang to the point, I had to unplug the power to even get the disk out. It wasn't the TVs fault.
I bought the Samsung BD-H6500 Blu-ray player, hooked it up and not one problem. The setup was amazingly easy.
Do yourself a favor if you buy a Samsung, buy a Samsung Blu-ray player.
The player and the TV connect automatically and the remote for the Blu-ray player will control your TV, I didn't have to do a thing. Put a 3D disc in and the mode automatically changes to 3D for you.
The picture on DVD, Blu-ray and 3D are excellent.
The Samsung player was a excellent purchase.

I can link this to my phone or computer without need of other devices. My children can operate it easily enough on their own without ending up in some menu screen and changing features. It does what it is designed to do and more than what I had expected it to do. I was definitely not let down. So far it has outlasted others like it that I have owned.

This Samsung blue ray player works great, and at a great price. I'm surprised how quick and responsive it is, compared to the unit I bought from a highly respected company last year (which started overheating and shutting down!). I'm not crazy with the controls on top of the unit, but the overall performance and value far outweigh that, making it a very minor point. I would recommend this to a friend in a heartbeat.

The unit was a replacement for an aging PS3 which was having difficulty playing back 3D Blu-Rays. The unit itself is very slim, feels sturdy and is surprisingly feather light. I can imagine it being a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but that usually goes with the type of plastics used in the case. Once I powered up the blu-ray player, it went through a quick and easy setup process, detected my Samsung TV and adjusted the visual settings automatically and then proceeded to update it's own firmware. The entire process took about 5 minutes and to test, we watched the 3-D version of Brave which actually looked a great deal better than when I used to watch it via my old PS3! The smart hub interface very closely resembles my television's which Samsung does a terrific job with in terms of maintaining a standard look across devices. I found it a touch slow in responsiveness, however I know I will never use that feature on the blu-ray player as my television would aptly suffice in that regard. All in all, for the price I paid, I am very happy with this purchase and hope it will continue functioning for years to come.

Plus two added bonus features this player has thanks to Samsung's great technology is one, it has the Full Dynamic Range audio auto setting along with Dolby Digital Plus Surround setting. So if you should happen to have a 5.1 or greater home theater system hooked up to it and these settings enabled, it will feel as though you're in a IMAX theater and the picture being upscaled displayed in 4k UHD is just TOTALLY AWESOME! Secondly, the great feature on the front has a USB port of which you can use a flash drive to play slide show of your photos, music /music videos and movies. BlueRay works great, but web access is convoluted due to the on screen keyboard. You have to mouse over letters to spell the website and the cursor is not very responsive. And when you finally get to a site, you have to use the same cursor to navigate within the website. Then again, I bought it for the BlueRay.....that is why I rated it highly.

I believe this is a great product and an exceptional value. Took a little getting used to it doing many things by itself. I think the on/off/eject on the top of the device is confusing and hard to pick up when device is placed in a lower cabinet.

Clarity of picture automatic sensing of the type of TV and Disk. Automatically switches to the proper display for the disc format and automatic upscaling of DVD output to UHD or 3D on my Samsung JS9000 TV. A wonderful Combination at a reasonable price. I did not need the additional smart mode for APPS as these were already available on my TV, but as a trial I connected it to an older standard HDTV and the apps worked great and it matched the maximum display quality of that TV. A win win regardless of the HDTV you have.

I like this blue Ray Player I just use one remote control for the TV and it programs to the TV real fast because I have a smart TV also and it is a bluetooth and my sound bar is also a bluetooth and it control one remote control it is so cool.

It's a great BR player lightening fast clicking through the menu's, But for the price I would expect other audio out. It's limited to HDMI/Optical just like most BR players. No legacy audio support, A few RCA jacks wouldn't hurt. I had to replace my soundbar with a new 5.1 system in order to get great sound.

This product is great however, there are a few minor bugs I found within it. First bug is the Compatibility with certain apps. I've had to restart some apps because they wouldn't work with the blue ray player. Second is the sign in process, it took me hour to do so, added to the fact that most of the features don't work without signing in. But overall it is a great product and I am certainly satisfied with it and cannot wait for more great products from Samsung!

So far so GOOD. I upgraded to this model after reading other reviews. When I hooked it up it was easy to get going. Synced well with the T.V. Picture is crisp and clear and I could not be happier with the viewing experience. lots of features I have not used yet but will when the need comes. worth the few extra dollars to get if you are on the fence.

While this one is for playing 3D as well as 2D discs, I wanted one that was similar in style to the player I was replacing, which was a 2d bluray player. Minor issues with that one made it necessary to finally upgrade.
So far so good with this new player. Easy to set up. Discs load quickly and apps like Netflix and Hulu come up quickly as well.
One minor flaw is with the Recommended Apps. While I can understand you can't remove them, it would be nice to be able to move them into an order different than what they are, as you can under My Apps.

Would have expected Bluetooth connectivity these days for audio output. Not happy with optical out only if you don't want the TV on when just playing music on usb or cd. Don't like the way it keeps and displays, on switching on, the previous things played, even when those are things have been disconnected and therefore wouldn't play even if selected- it should only give a list of what is actually available to be selected for playing.

Purchased this one to replace Samsung 3d Blu-ray player that would not play newer movies because of no firmware update. Have to say I was surprised at the ease of setting this one up as compared to the 2010 model. Plays Blu-ray movies flawlessly. It seems to have a better picture than the original. There was 1 hiccup in the setup. The remote refused to work but a quick call to Samsung technical support and a replacement remote is on the way. I am sure alot of you know how to check to see if a remote is broadcasting an infrared signal but I didn't. For those that don't use the camera on your phone and point the remote at it. You will see a light if it is working. Thanks Samsung technical for teaching an old dog new tricks. Just all around good experience with Samsung products.

I purchased this DVR and I'm sooo glad I did. I put one of my dvds in and could not believe how perfect the picture was. Clearly it was up scaled to a 4k image. It is connected to my 4k Samsung curve tv. Setting this up is as easy as opening a piece of candy. Its smart ready so the apps I have subcriptions to were there and ready for me to log in and use. I can't say how pleased I am in writing. Samsung you did it again! Fannnnntassstic

I bought mine in Nov 2015. It came with BBC iPlayer, ITV player & 4OD. Latest firmware update swapped ITV Player for Amazon. This is really annoying, I guess I'll have to see if I can downgrade to the previous version to get it back.
I don't think firmware updates should remove features without warning. Especially if like me you bought the device for the service that is being deleted
Otherwise, its OK but a bit slow and missing Demand 5

Researched available reasonably-priced upscaling WIFI Blu-ray players to go with my new Samsung 4K UHD 48" Smart TV. The Smart WIFI BD-H6500/ZA was the best. It was easy to set up and easy to use. It has many additional features that I plan to explore over time. It actually came with a very complete user manual which is unusual these days.

I am pleased with my Samsung purchase! I rated 3 stars on design because of the location of the buttons on the player. They are located on top of the player, which for my purposes, is a horrible place for them to be. I cant stack anything on top of it, because the item on top blocks the buttons. And it really limits where I can place it in an entertainment center. If I place it too close to the shelf above it, it makes it complicated to reach the buttons. Yes, I can use the remote; but I am someone that uses the buttons on the machine when I place the disc into the player. That being my only reservation about the player, I would buy another one if it needed to be replaced for some reason. The Netflix app access's the Netflix servers in about half the time my Samsung TV does. That's a nice added bonus to my purchase.

Excellent video reproduction and super fast loading speed/features access. My only complaint is that it does not seem to support DTS-HD MA through the USB port but is output as DTS. DTS-HD MA does work fine while playing a disc.

no need to try to figure out how to work the remote-The other one is dumped in a closet - you have to use the remote with LITTLE buttons to set up- this has a keyboard right on the screen-SUPER easy to set up and has an optical out . What more can I say! Just great!!!

So far I have only register this BD on line with Samsung and gone through the setup process. The registering software had a problem recognize the serial number which I checked several times. Also, Creating a password you are not allowed to use 3 consecutive numbers or characters. I used two and kept getting a warning of three continuous characters. I finally changed my whole password and the warning went away. The setup process through the DB was stressful. I thought I was back in the 70's with character based equipment. Slow and cumbersome. It is not an alternate device for the internet unless you like pulling your hair out. I almost fear going in and trying to setup Netflix. This is the extent of my experience with Db-H6500, and, therefore, my rating.
