What is Home Finder and how do I use it
Home Finder is a newly introduced feature on Galaxy devices designed to improve the search experience. It offers natural language search, Search suggestions, and Recall cards. The feature uses Personal Data Intelligence (PDI) to gather reservation details from notifications in specific apps and presents them in a card format for easy access.
Note:
- Images are simulated.
- This feature is available on devices running One UI 8.5 or later, starting with the Galaxy S26 series models.
- It operates on selected apps only.
How to use Home Finder
1. Enable Home Finder
Go to Settings > Home screen > Show Finder on Home screen and toggle it on (default is OFF).
2. Search on Home screen
Use the Finder on the Home screen to search for information. Note that 'Suggested apps' are not displayed here.
3. Search on Apps screen
For app searches, use the Finder on the Apps screen, where 'Suggested apps' are displayed, and searched apps appear at the top (or below Recall Cards if applicable).
By leveraging Home Finder, users can enjoy a more intuitive and efficient search experience tailored to their needs.
