Fantastisk SATA 3 SSD. 870 EVO med MLC på 1TB er desidert den beste disk av dette grensesnittet jeg har hatt. Det sto i en med ukjent navn på 2TB som var kjøpt fra Østen. Den brøt sammen etter kort tids bruk. Derfor ville jeg være safe og da var valget, etter å ha nøye undersøkt mange forskjellige merker, helt klart. Det ble Samsung 870 EVO 1TB. Dessuten til en kampanjepris på kun 1077 kroner i et av de store varehusene, var ekstra hyggelig.

Samsung sine SSD'ere er noe dyrere enn "de andre", men er helt klart verdt prisen. Enkle å innstallere, oppleves som lynraske, pålitelige over lang tid. Jeg bruker konsekvenst Samsung på pc'er som i alt det vestentligste brukes til bilderedigering og annet arbeid som krever raske disker, anbefales på det varmeste, ingen over, ingen ved siden!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid, reliable upgrade — does exactly what it promises I picked up the 870 EVO 1TB to replace an old SATA SSD in my desktop, and it's been a smooth experience so far. Installation was plug-and-play — just swapped it into the 2.5" bay and it was recognized immediately, no fuss. Performance-wise, it hits right around the numbers Samsung advertises. Boot times are noticeably snappier, and large file transfers (I move a lot of video files) feel consistent without any weird slowdowns once the cache fills up, which was an issue I've had with cheaper drives in the past. I also appreciate that Samsung includes their Magician software — it's handy for keeping an eye on drive health and running firmware updates without needing third-party tools. For anyone size doesn't matter — I mean, obviously it maxes out at SATA speeds, so don't expect NVMe-level performance — but for a standard SATA upgrade, this is about as good as it gets. Build quality feels solid, runs cool, and hasn't given me a single hiccup after a few months of daily use. If you're upgrading from an old hard drive or an aging SSD and don't have M.2 slots to spare, this is a safe, dependable choice. Would recommend — especially if you catch it on sale.

This I bought this when I first came out on the market. And even now five or so years later it's still very fast has great health left and it's still kicking. I'd recommend it to end it absolutely anyone who's looking for a two and a half inch SSD hard drive for the speed and the money and the read and write capabilities of it..

Boot times went from minutes to just seconds, and apps open instantly. Installation was incredibly easy, and the free Samsung Magician software made cloning my old drive a breeze. It completely maxes out the speed limits of a SATA connection. Samsung is the king of SSD reliability, so the 5-year warranty gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommended if you need a 2.5-inch drive!
