  2. How can I access Gear Apps?

  1. How can I purchase apps?
    • After selecting an application to download, please follow the steps below to purchase it. If you selected a free application, downloading will begin immediately. If you selected an application that has to be paid for, you need to select a payment method and make a payment before you can download the application. If you are using Gear Apps on a non-Samsung device, you can currently download free apps only. Paid apps will be available in the future.

  2. Can I get a refund on a purchased app?
    • Once you purchase an application, you cannot get a refund or cancel the purchase.

  3. An error occurred when I tried to purchase an app.
    • To purchase an application in Samsung Gear Apps, you need the latest version of the Samsung Pay application.

Application Issues

  1. An app I installed is not showing on my Gear device.
    • Restart the Gear device.

  2. How do I update installed apps?
    • When you are logged in to your Samsung account, select [My Apps] in the menu. You can find applications that require an update in the [Update] tab and update these applications.

  3. Can I install apps that were purchased on another Gear device?
    • You can install the applications on all devices registered with the same Samsung account as long as the applications support the devices. You can download each application on up to 10 devices without having to pay an additional fee.

  4. How can I redownload an app?
    • You can re-download the applications you have purchased, by going to [My Apps] in the top-left menu of Gear Apps.

  5. Where can I see my purchased apps?
    • You can check the applications you have purchased by going to [My Apps] in the top-left menu of Gear Apps. You must log in to your Samsung account to see the My Apps menu.

  6. My app download stopped. What do I do?
    • If the download was interrupted or has failed, please check your network settings or Internet connection.

  7. I can't download apps because my device is out of memory.
    • The message "Application cannot be downloaded. Insufficient memory. Please delete items." appears when you do not have enough memory to continue using an application without it stopping. Please increase the remaining memory space, log back in, and try downloading again.

  8. I purchased an app, but I can not download it.
    • Please check your network connection and try again. Unstable network connection may cause application downloading issues.

Using Gear with non-Samsung devices.

  1. How do I access Gear apps on a non-Samsung device?
    • Even if you are using a non-Samsung device, you can access Gear Apps from the Gear Manager application.

      1. On your mobile device, access http://apps.samsung.com/gear.
      2. Click the D/L button for non-Samsung devices and install the Samsung Gear Manager application from Google Play Store.
      3. Run Samsung Gear Manager installed on your smartphone and then link it to your Gear device via Bluetooth.
      4. When it is linked, click the Samsung Gear Apps menu to access Gear Apps.

  2. Which non-Samsung devices can I use with Gear Apps?
    • It is recommended that you link your Gear device to a mobile device running Android 4.4 (Kitkat) and with 1.5G RAM or higher.

  3. How can I update apps I've downloaded?
    • When you are logged in to your Samsung account, select My Apps in the menu to re-download or update the apps from their details pages on the list.

  4. What payment options are available?
    • If you are using Gear Apps on a non-Samsung device, you can currently download free apps only. Paid apps will be available in the future.

  5. How do I change my personal information?
