How to set up the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator

Family Hub is unlike any refrigerator you have ever had before. The Family Hub setup will walk you through establishing a Wi-Fi Network, Samsung Account, Family Hub Profile, Phone Number, and Voice ID.

Initial setup process

  1. Select your language and then agree to the terms and conditions.

  2. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list that appears and enter the password (if it has one).

    Note: To use all of Family Hub’s functions, you must connect to Wi-Fi.

  3. Sign into your Samsung account. This will be used as the main profile on your Family Hub. You don't have to have a Samsung Account for every profile, but you do on the first one.

  4. Verify your cell phone number.

    Note: This will link your main profile on Family Hub with your Samsung account. This can be skipped, but is required when using the Family Hub mobile app.

  5. Add a Voice ID for the main profile (so Bixby will recognize you), as well as create up to 5 additional profiles and Voice IDs for them too.

    Note: Voice IDs and other profiles can be added later under Settings > Profile.

Family Hub setup complete! Now do some exploring and discover the Family Hub features you enjoy most.
