Samsung TVs can occasionally encounter errors that pop-up on the screen and hinder a user's ability to access certain features. This guide will cover the most common issues and provide the solution needed.

Common error messages on Samsung TVs

Turn the TV on.

The TV must be turned on for this process to work.

Press and hold Power for 5 seconds.

Hold Power for 5 seconds on the remote or on the TV.

Press and hold Power on the remote for 5 seconds.

Use the Samsung remote for this step. Release after 5 seconds.

Wait for the TV to power cycle.

Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute for the TV to power cycle and show the Samsung logo. When the TV turns back on, it should be in reset mode.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

Follow the steps shown on the screen to complete the initial setup. Make sure that the user agrees to the Terms and Conditions, and signs into their Samsung account as well.
Note
The flash reset process is only successful if the initial setup screen shows. If the user does not see that screen, please start the process over.
