Vent fan is weak on over-the-range Samsung microwave

The vent fan on your over-the-range microwave is useful for keeping smoke and steam clear from the microwave. It will even turn on automatically if the microwave is getting too hot. But if the fan strength isn't strong enough to hold up a napkin, you may feel like it's not working. Fortunately, there's an easy way to tell.

Vent fan is weak on over-the-range Samsung microwave

To check if your vent fan is working, adjust it to every speed setting. If you can tell that the fan is working differently on each setting, and the noise the fan makes is normal, then service is not required.

If the fan seems to act the same no matter which setting is used, or is making an abnormal noise, visit our Service Center to request service.
