Fix the Continue apps on cover screen feature on Galaxy Z Fold

After upgrading to Android 16 (B OS) on Galaxy Fold models, the "Continue using apps on cover/main screen" feature may not work properly. Instead of seamlessly transitioning between screens, the app refreshes when folding or unfolding the device. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

Continue apps on cover screen is not supported on the Galaxy Z TriFold.

Adjust the Screen zoom.

Using two fingers, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick panel, and then tap the Settings icon (it looks like a gear). Swipe to and tap Display, and then tap Screen layout and zoom. Tap Screen zoom, and then adjust the slider once.

Revert back to your preferred screen size.

Adjust the Screen zoom slider again to return the screen to your preferred size.

Test the Continue apps on cover screen feature.

Open an app that supports App Continuity on your Z Fold, and then fold or unfold the device to check if the issue is resolved. The app should automatically adjust to the new screen layout.
Note
App Continuity is currently supported by select apps. Over time, more apps are expected to integrate this feature, enhancing the user experience.

Check for software updates.

A software patch is being developed to address this issue. To ensure your device benefits from improvements, regularly check for and install software updates.

Navigate to and open Settings, and then swipe to and tap Software update or System updates (this may vary between models). Tap Download and install, Check for system updates, or Check for software updates, depending on your carrier. If an update is available, it will begin downloading automatically. On some devices, you may need to tap Download now. Once the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
