Galaxy S26 camera screen darkens when taking photos

The screen brightness on the Galaxy S26 series may appear darker when taking photos if the 'Dim strobing' option in Vision enhancements is enabled. This feature reduces sudden brightness changes (flashing effects) in videos or images. If you're not sensitive to flashing effects, disabling this option can maintain stable screen brightness during camera use.

 Disable Dim strobing:

  1. Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick panel, and then tap the Settings (it looks like a gear).
  2. Tap Accessibility, then tap Vision enhancements, and then turn off the Dim strobing switch.

This adjustment will help maintain stable screen brightness during camera use.
