Frequently asked questions

How does it work?

Setting up service is easy. Once you login to your Samsung account, all you need is the unit’s serial number to register your Samsung product online. From there, request a repair service, tell us about the issue with your product, and set up an appointment with your preferred date/time.

How is the payment processed?

All payments are processed through Samsung.com. Temporary hold will be placed on your payment method at the time of repair ticket creation. Once the repair is completed, the preauthorized hold is processed and a charge will be placed on your account. You will receive a payment confirmation receipt from Samsung. There is no payment due to the technician at the time of the repair visit.

How do I cancel my appointment?

Contact us at 1-800-Samsung or log in to your account on Samsung.com to cancel the request online. When an Upfront Price ticket is cancelled by 4pm on the day prior to the scheduled Service date, there is no charge to you. If you no longer wish to proceed with the repair service after the tech has already made a trip, you will be refunded the upfront repair charges (minus the $155 tech visit fee + tax).

Is it worth repairing my appliance?

In many cases, yes. Repairs are often much more affordable than replacing an appliance, especially for newer or high-end models. With flat-rate pricing, you can easily decide whether repair or replacement makes the most financial sense.

What if my appliance breaks down again after the repair?

If the same issue occurs within the 90-day warranty period, contact us and we will resolve the issue promptly.
Services and Charges. Samsung will coordinate repair service for your eligible Samsung product for the estimated charges stated in the service estimate (“Service Estimate”), plus any applicable taxes, unless such charges are revised with your prior oral or written consent. You authorize Samsung to coordinate the repair services described in the Service Estimate (“Service”) on the device identified on the Service Estimate (“Your Device”), subject to these Terms and Conditions. Samsung will charge a flat rate based on the product which includes the costs of diagnosis, parts, labor, and applicable taxes. If you cancel the Service by 4pm on the day prior to the scheduled Service date, there is no charge to you. If you decide to cancel or not proceed with the Service once the repair technician arrives on-site there will be a non-refundable $155.00 diagnosis fee (plus applicable sales tax) charged to you.

Not all products and symptoms may be eligible for Upfront Pricing

1 These units will go through the normal out-of-warranty process. Preferred date/time may need to be adjusted due to parts and tech availability and based on in-person diagnostics. Service availability is based on zip code coverage
