It does NOT digitally upgrade ANYTHING from ANY app or channel. Furthermore, the picture quality is awful and if there are any bright lights in any show or movie you are watching all you will see is a bright blue hue, spot and it will beed into the screen. I WILL NEVER buy another Samsung TV again!!!

I have been a Samsung fan and buyer for decades now and have practically Samsung everything including TVs. I had been looking at this TV for quite some time and comparing it to TCLs QM8 which is a mini-LED. The quality and picture processing of Samsung can't be beat. Note that I have Samsung OLED S95B as well as a LG OLED G3 which are top of their class in picture quality. I was also looking at the Samsung QN900C 8K at 85" but wanted something bigger. Nowadays, 98" is the new "Normal" - just like foldable phones! I had the opportunity to look at content on the Q80C along with QN900C and the 4K Neo QLED and have to say that with the same content, Q80C was pretty darn close in image quality. It can't match the QN900C or OLEDs but with its Full Array panel, it does quite well with blacks, contrast and colors. Interestingly enough, when I compared the Q80C against the Samsung Neo QLED 4K, the color seemed to pop more on Q80C. It could be that it was oversaturated but to my preference I liked it better. As far as picture settings go I have done the Smart Calibration option which works well enough but I frankly just use the Intelligent Mode and let the TV adjust and learn as it goes. I did the same with my Samsung OLED and picture quality continues to improve with its AI neural engine. I have to say I have seen hardly any blooming whatsoever. There may be very slight blooming but really can't be seen unless you look hard enough. You will see in one of my photos with the star field and stars look great. However, I did notice during using the menu, the LED backlighting was slow to adjust so time will tell how it improves. The menu and layout of the home screen is familiar to me as it is the same on many of my Samsung TVs. It can be a bit clunky in my opinion and really shortcuts are needed to easily navigate to certain settings. The LG layout I feel is much easier to navigate. Overall, navigating the menu is quick but did notice a bit of a lag one time at start-up. The remote seems to get smaller and smaller which is good and bad. Hard to get to the right buttons. Do wish it had backlit capability. But I do like that it is rechargeable and also solar powered which is great. Overall, really happy with the purchase as I have already enjoyed watching shows and movies on the big screen. Who needs to go to the movie theater??? :) It fits really well in my home theater as I have huge space. Even with the 98", I still feel it's small. LOL. I used the Sanus slim mount which allows the TV to be only .6" away from the wall. This TV itself has 1.9" depth but since I fixed mounted it, it looks fantastic...like a large painting.

It keeps up wonderfully with action scenes, there's no blur, lag or skipping of frames. The TV itself is so easy to set up. It gives 2 ways to set up, and several options to even customize your experience a bit. The back of the TV has several hdmi ports for all the gaming devices I have.. and even an direct internet port if you don't want wireless set up. The remote... the remote is awesome actually! I am obsessed that it doesn't take batteries. It recharges using light, sunlight, room light, it's awesome! Overall, I would recommend this television, it has met, and exceeded, my expectations.

Superb detail and clarity whatever we watched Seriously smooth on motion and action shots The Colours are crisp and vibrant, the blacks are deep and defined and even the audio was a surprise out of the box…. Forget about the expensive sound bar Lots of features and functions….. possibly too many at times to get your head around at first The only negative for me is the standard (full button) remote that is smaller than my old one and sits too low now in the hand for you to easily access the navigation buttons with your thumb that used to be higher up on and easily accessible on the older remotes

So we need televisions that can keep up with us! When receiving this television, we immediately put it on the wall and got it hooked up. It comes with a beautiful tv stand but we choose to hang our tv’s. Anywho, the color on this was stunning! So realistic and vibrant and beautiful! It’s very smart and the remote is solar powered/& or can be charged with a usbc charger! The volume to the tv can change under a setting depending on how loud your room is. The color adjusts as well depending on lighting! This is one of a kind and so worth its price. I’ve not had another tv compare to it. I have showed all my friends and posted about it on my socials because I love it so much. The sound on this is so loud at such a low setting too! It’s absolutely great. I will never buy any other tvs other than Samsung now. I did get this tv at a discounted rate, for my opinion.

Sound quality and image are amazing. I was surprised the sound was so good it doesn't even require a sound bar to get a decent cinema experience. The colors are true and vivid, it's got an amazing 4k quality and even though it has 120hz refresh rate it's not compatible with video game 4K. Another good thing is it has bluetooth and you can connect any bluetooth speaker if you want an alternative for sound.

When I got this tv hung, I had low expectations as I am not much of a samsung guy BUT let me tell you I was impressed. The colors are explosive,. The picture quality is some of the best I have seen. The remote is easy to navigate (which is good for my wife!) The sound quality is amazing (even without the surround sound.) My only complaint is I wish she would of got a bigger TV but nonetheless I am thoroughly impressed and may now consider myself a “samsung guy.”

It was time to upgrade my tv in my bedroom as it had started to get glitchy and just not work as well as before. I have a Samsung in my living room and knew when it was time to get a new tv for my room, that I would be continuing on with another Samsung. The quality of a Samsung exceeds most if not all for me and this 50” Class Q80C QLED 4K Smart TV is no different. The picture quality is so clear and detailed. The set up was quick and easy. I decided to hang on my wall. But it does come with a very sturdy base if wanting to set on an entertainment center. All in all I am extremely happy with my purchase and will be a Samsung customer for a long time.

I purchased the 65" Class QLED 4K Q80C in Feb 2023, so I have owned it for 8 months now. I have zero complaints. Best TV I have ever owned. Colors are vibrant but look natural. The picture is clear showing even the smallest detail no matter what angle or level of light in the room. I like to watch sports and the picture has no problem keeping up with the action. I have satellite and Netflix, Prime, etc. It's easy to navigate to whichever source I want to watch. The remote is simple and easy to use. Love that it can be charged by solar. The TV sound is okay, but as with most TV's an added sound system is needed to get a full sound. I would not hesitate to purchase this TV again and I can easily recommend it to family and friends.

I originally bought an LG 98 inch because I was hooked by the AI abilities it advertised. I soon learned I should have bought the Samsung. I contacted the seller and swapped out for the Samsung. I already have several Samsung sets. Even an 8k 85 inch Samsung. The new set connects to all my appliances, very cool. The picture is fantastic. It looks as good as the 8k. The audio is also amazing because it decodes Atmos! This is the best purchase I have made all year. I buy a new TV about every year or two and I will never buy anything but Samsung from now on

There's a map zoom function which takes a part of the side of the TV and dedicates it to zooming in on your video game map. That way you can see it better! It comes with a built-in xbox! You subscribe to the Xbox Live and then you can hook up any wireless controller via Bluetooth to your TV and then play video games with no console! Did I mention the nits? 1,500!! At night, this TV can be blinding! The brightness and contrast and detail are indescribable.

We have (2) QLED TV's, 80" and 65". The 80" is the newest and the picture quality is amazing, very clear, and almost looks 3D at times. We also have a Samsung soundbar that links up perfectly. In addition, I love the ability to download several apps, and enjoy casting from my phone music, etc to the TV. Love the ambiance mode too. User friendly and high quality at a great price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Watching football on network channels when they are showing the whole field with the players on it it’s all blurry around the players don’t know just trying to up to 4K or UHD or whatever you call it. I know that on CBS, NBC ABC, but if they have an alternate channel, that’s showing the 4K version of it it’s perfect, also it will not recognize my cable box so I’m unable to control it with my Samsung remote as far as I know it’s a digital box hit her up directly to the router Wi-Fi. I had an older Samsung TV and it seemed like the picture was better even though it was designed for 1080 maybe that’s why , QEQLED was supposed to be great but I’m not overly impressed

The picture is crystal clear and the screen lighting options are great. We have a sound bar attached to it as the only downside is the speakers on the tv, they're limited in function and don't give the surround sound we desire. All in all i love my purchase and when it's time for another tv, Samsung is our go to!

Bought this as an upgrade to my 55" 2016 4K UHD 6 Series 6300 that is an amazing TV. Love the picture quality, however it loses a star from this rating specifically because I absolutely HATE how the Smart Hub is set up on it. I liked the style on my 6 series, I don't want to look at all this extra crap and now navigating through connected devices and my apps is unnecessarily complicated. You ruined a good thing, really disappointed.

We have a giant wall that our 85-in TV fits well onto. I'm also a competitive weightlifter and so having such a clear picture and being able to connect to the internet or YouTube to watch my training videos and competition videos to make Corrections is invaluable. But best of all, my husband and I really enjoy watching National Geographic and National Park documentaries and really planning our vacations around Discovery new places. This television gives us access to pretty much everything and anything, it also fits well with all of our other devices including my Samsung phone. I even use it for online exercise programs or learning how to dance, those things. It is really like having people in your living room with you. I can't say enough about this tv.

The feature i looked for most when shopping was to have clear midrange sound and this one is much better than our previous device. The room where we use this has a big window in the front and a sliding glass door in the back, and all hard surfaces but this TV can be adjusted so we can both see and hear without having it too loud, or looking washed out. Love it.

I’ve owned a number of Samsung TVs and still do. They’ve all been extremely reliable. I have a OLED and everyone who has viewed a program on it can’t believe the quality of the picture and that tv is at least 8 yrs old. My recommendation is don’t be fooled to go cheap with a tv brand, it’s best to go with one that’s proven. Samsung is my go to when choosing a tv that will provide the best experience and enjoyment when either watching my favorite movie or sports event!

This TV is amazing! Picture is great, the colors are so vivid and life like. I haven't changed any settings for the picture quality, haven't needed to. One issue I do have is I am very sensitive to sound. I had to lower the bass but I still find myself increasing and decreasing the sound continuously and the surround background sound is annoying. I turned off Dolby Atmos but it still comes through some sounds are right next to me. If I could set it up like a regular old tv, please let me know. I'm thinking I might need to buy a sound bar but not sure if that would solve my problem.

Lasted 4 yrs. and backlights went out. Now I have only sound but no picture. Upon researching this I found that this is a common problem with Samsung TVs. So why sell this junk = $$$$$$. I paid over 3 grand for this but never again Samsung.
