This tv is incredible. The colors are bright & the blacks are super dark. Even when you stand completely on the side, the screen is as bright as can be. Entire TV is only 3/4" thick with a one connect that can be placed anywhere, on the stand or hidden away in a cabinet. Image is amazing & fills entire screen almost to the very edge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is replacing my 65" Samsung Q70AA QLED 4K UHD TV. I was able to get the TV unboxed and mounted in about 30 minutes and the setup took less than 5 minutes including getting signed into my various streaming accounts. It has an updated UI that is taking a little getting used to, but overall I would say it is an improvement. The UI is much more responsive, but it seems a little cluttered. The QN800D has a gaming hub that supports XBOX and Nvidia Geforce Now and allows you to directly connect an Xbox controller for gameplay. I have only had a chance to play Fortnite with my kid so far, but it seem to run at about the same quality as his Nintendo Switch connected to Samsung 4K TV. I do not have any 8K media to feed it, but the picture seems very crisp and the 4K content I am watching seems much better quality than it was on the 4K TV it replaced. The sound on this TV is amazing as well. I have the QN800D paired to a Samsung Q910C 9.1.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar with Q-Symphony enabled and it makes the room sound like a movie theater. I need to get this setup for a few other rooms in the house.

Putting this TV together took two of us but the work was well worth it. It wasn't a daunting task and the instructions are simple to follow. Love the overall design of the TV set and how sleek it is and how it compliments my entertainment system. Diving into the overall experience from unpacking to user experience: After we set up the tv, the menu setup was short and sweet. Being that we are a Samsung family, I was able to use my phone to setup the tv and balance the color. Also, which I believe is a nice touch is the addition of SmartThings. From The comfort of my couch and the tv, I’m able to control my lights, blinds and vacuum. This tv allows for this simple integration without a hiccup. Once the tv was setup and all devices were connected it was time for a serious treat. The picture quality of this device is mind blowing! It’s pure eye candy and I feel as if it’s a crime for the picture to look this good! It’s as if we are right there in the action and have to remind our mind that this is a tv and not real life. The picture is something to see. Remote control: The remote is small and sleek. I like the fact that it’s solar powered and the battery seems to Have a long life. I love the addition of hot keys that allow me to open certain applications for my viewing pleasure. Final thoughts: Overall this is a major win in my book and I can't wait to host the next movie night. I love this TV and cannot see me ever wanting to switch brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family living room has a 55 inch, 2018 model year OLED TV that we've enjoyed for many years now. Going from a regular LCD TV at the time to OLED was a massive upgrade, and it's hard to imagine how much better things could have improved? Installation is really easy after fitting the base to the TV. All connections to the TV go through the connectivity box included which means you can put that on a shelf on your AV stand. Then a single cable from that goes to your TV and keeps everything neat. Getting the TV up and running and set up with Satellite tuning takes only a few minutes using the on screen instructions and QR code. I prefer certain settings with my TVs with how colours and motion look so I spent some time on YouTube with 8K and 4K HDR videos as well as movie trailers to get things exactly the way I want. First impressions were just how BRIGHT this thing was. It's over and above my 2018 OLED in terms of brightness and on par with a flagship OLED we have in another room. It took me a few goes to get my settings to "stick" as a few of the quick and easy TV modes will set things back to defaults, but with a bit of trial and error I got the hang of what I could and couldn't change without it changing other settings. I'm not a fan of motion processing and I quite like film grain so some of those advanced settings I turned off entirely. However some of the automatic HDR and colour/contrast settings are definitely worth having on so there's enough in there to be really precise about how you want things to be set up. And if you just want to go with some "out of the box" settings then those are really easy to use. One thing that was immediately obvious was how much better the sound was over our old OLED TV. There is significantly more body to the sound and arguably you dont HAVE to go and buy a soundbar for this TV, unless you really want one. I can honestly say that the Samsung QLED looks amazing, and is a big upgrade over our older OLED TV. As a living room TV it makes the cartoons the kids watch on YouTube look fantastic, and then when switching to our streaming service apps that we installed directly from the Smart TV features, those look brilliant too. Samsung Neo QLED 8K has been a massive upgrade to our living room viewing. I tend to keep living room TVs for 5-10 years at a time and this has us covered for a long time to come with the 8K screen and every other modern feature you want. Buy with confidence!

We’ve had our tv for a few months now. And I’m not entirely happy with it. There has been sporadic problems where the tv will just up and shut down. Sometimes it will come back on on its own sometimes it will then shut right down again. Then come back on. Other times I have to turn it back on. It seems to happen more when I’m playing games on Xbox. It also has sound problems too. I’m using a Samsung sound bar with it. But the sound cuts out for a second every now and then. Sometimes it happens a lot. Sometimes not so much. I’m not sure if this is the fault of the tv, sound bar or both. Great picture though. We rely on it heavily for online content, ie netflix.

Just received it, still got it's little hiccups with upscaling but at least, Netflix movies looks super awesome, I dunno about blu ray because for some reason won't work with the tv . If they got rid of the upscaling issues where it's crystal clear and motion rate is upto par the tv would be a master piece and if they made free to air tv better picture quality. gaming picture quality could be a little be better as it flickering issues with movement but, this tv is still amazing compared to what their TVs used to be. In all in all pretty happy with this tv. If it was a master piece it would be 5/5 for me, almost there Samsung almost there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is amazing. Easy to setup and is great when paired with Smart Things. I also purchased a Samsung SSD and loaded all my holiday photos and videos onto it and can now watch/view them on the big screen and annoy the family! Only thing is that it can only play all photos or videos, not both types sequentially. The gaming hub is also handy – I recently traded in the Xbox for a PlayStation, but kept my Xbox live subscription, so I can still play Xbox games on the TV without the console. Graphics aren’t the best, but the kids don’t mind. Haven’t explored the dozens of other features yet, but will do over the summer holidays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Design: Nothing special or out of the ordinary. The stand being in the middle (instead of two legs) cause the TV to be not-level for me. Real depth and AI motion enhancer pro: excellent for gaming, general viewing, and upscaling older content. However, I’m not a huge fan of the ultra-smoothing look for movies and TV shows. Tracking sound pro: the sound is great—I use an external soundbar system and the sound is going to the right speakers at the right time. Great picture. Pros: Very bright. Videos and movies are very smooth, almost too smooth looking. There is not a lot of 8K content out right now, but what I watched on YouTube and Vimeo looked excellent. Also, games and movies (4K UHD discs) looked great on the PS5. Remote is nice and light, ergonomic—I recommend watching the tutorial (in settings) for the remote because there are a lot of shortcuts. Sound is adequate but I always use a soundbar or an external speaker system anyway. Cons: Somehow my TV is not level. I’m not looking forward to taking apart the stand and re-doing it, but maybe this was my fault, and this would not be an issue if I wall mounted the TV. The microphone came turned off, so I could not use the voice feature… it took me forever to find the microphone switch on the TV (it’s a tiny switch on the bottom right if you’re facing the TV) The TV is heavy, especially with the 3-piece metal stand and the external port hub. I just expected new TVs to be much lighter than the flat screen TVs 5+ years ago. Overall, excellent TV and none of the cons I mentioned really bother me. In my opinion, I would recommend going bigger, like 85” or greater for an 8K TV, so you can really notice the details.

Although the current gaming consoles may not be able to use this TV's maximum resolution, my gaming computer sure can, and it is amazing to see anything running in 8k. Even older games pushed out to 8k look way better than the newer versions of those games that still use 4k or less. I am overwhelmed with detail in whatever area of the screen I'm looking at. I honestly can't even begin to process what's in my peripheral vision just yet.

There is a lot of reflections on the screen, so you have to monitor background lighting. The screen is also wavy making the reflections worse. It is hard to get clear voices even using the voice enhancements. I have the Samsung Q990D soundbar, woofer and rear speakers, which are recommended for this TV. The sound is disappointing.

I would give this TV a 5, except we do have issues with Hub disconnecting from our Internet when we use it directly through wifi 6 and upgrade to wifi 7 as well. Once we hardlined the Hub to one of our WiFi pods it has gotten better, but can still studder every so often.

I was nervous watching the install guys as I had a TV broken once before, but luckily no issue here. It was up and installed in min and my first destination was YouTube 8k landscapes. I was blown away at the colors, the brightest of brights and darkest of darks. It even upscales my 1080 broadcast and my 4k netflix, Amazon and Apple + all look incredible. I review one item a year and this is the one. Buy it for yourself, get a view of the world in the best looking imagery. You will almost think you are there. The TV is great. The problem I have is when they sent me the first TV something was wrong with it so I had to wait another week to get the next TV when I was having it installed by professional installers that I hired I talk to him about the first TV they sent me Meanwhile, he was setting it up and he peeled off a film off the front of the TV and I told him that that wasn’t on the first TV that I had a problem with and he said it was probably a used TV that you they sent you. I’m not happy about that because I paid for a new TV it makes you think when you buy something new is it really new?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first gen owner of Samsung's 900a series, I was in awe of the technology and everything that Samsung managed to squeeze into that beautiful 85 in frame. I have been content with this TV for a few years and honestly thought I would never replace it. That was until I put my eyes on the newest qn800d. Well it doesn't quite have the millimeter thin bezel it comes pretty down close. However it does have mini LED which makes a consistent difference in the overall amazing picture quality of this tv. I personally love that it still has the one connect box as it's a simple straightforward installation. Once I had the settings to my liking it was rediscovering that amazing feeling once again like seeing 8k for the first time. For me there is plenty of content that I like to watch especially on youtube. And let's not forget the TV doesn't incredible job of upscaling. If you've been on the fence because people talk about the lack of content don't listen to them. Run don't walk to buy one of these amazing TVs

The interface setup is top notch easy to navigate you can find you favorite apps no problem, if you want to watch something new it has plenty of suggestions to pick from. One Of The best TVs I've played my Xbox on being able to adjust brightness, saturation ect allows for optimal gaming experience. Havent had any issues with it randomly disconnecting from my wifi thats a huge bonus for me considering I live in the middle of no where. Over all an awesome TV couldn't be happier with it!

There are so many features and settings to play around with so don't be shy about tinkering with all of them to fit your watching habits. I have noticed when many of the settings are maxed out, the TV does flicker or turn off and come back on. I had to scale down some of the settings and it seemed to be doing better. The Game Mode is an incredible feature for any gamers out there. Arguably my favorite part of the TV!

Lower resolution content looks much better on this screen than it does on my smaller 4k TV. I saw lots is reviews indicating the lack of 8k content makes these not worth it but I don't regret it because 4k content looks better here than on a same size 4k TV and that is a win alone. TV is fast to load and very responsive. I use it for movies, console gaming, and even to display art when unused and this TV handles it with no issues.. only thing i would change is to better the split screen functionality with different sources. Currently only allows YouTube + another source. Needs more apps ex, Netflix, Disney etc.. TV definitely seems to have the power for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To begin with, I have owned nothing but Samsung TVs (six of them) since 2008 and will own nothing else. This item is very simple to set up. Just plug it in, turn it on and the set will guide you through the set up. From flawless colors to magnificent sound, it is all done with the stylish remote. The remote is sleek and compact, replete with minimalicity. Easy to understand and easy to use, it also offers two types of charging: USB-C charging and by using the "light" array on the back of the remote. Both work swiftly and when the unit is fully charged, a notice appears in the upper right hand corner of the unit to let you know to disconnect the remote. As for uses, this item can be used for ANYTHING! Although I am not a gamer, the functionality for that use is amazing (a friend does game on his). No lag time, wonderful acceleration and amazing clarity. For me? I use the unit for streaming and sporting events. When streaming, there is no buffering. Of course, this all depends on my router speed, but for me, there is no buffering. My chosen streaming platform provides clarity, popping colors and continuous play with no mishaps. While enjoying a sporting event, I enjoy fantastic colors, wonderful clairity and zero "bluring" of the action. There is absolutely no hesitation in the action . The day it was delivered, I had problems right out of the box. It would get stuck in an update loop and never come out of it. Made the tv borderline unusable. I ended up switching the cable from the power supply to the longer one and it has worked fine since. Every now and then it will turn off and come back on after a few minutes. It's irritating, but the overall tv is insane. The picture is ludicrously good. The game features are next level. I love this tv, minus the small issues.

Bought this now 3 months ago. First one has to be replaced because of receiving a TV that didn't have its original protective film as well as the back panel was coming off of the TV. The replacement TV that was received, after about 2 weeks in restarts by itself when on every ~30 minutes. Warranty to replace was easy but it took over 3 weeks for the TV to arrive....and the vendors that Samsung use has rather unfavorable communication regards to services.

Yeah, there’s not much native 8K content out there right now, but honestly, 4K looks amazing on it. The upscaling is solid, and the colors and sharpness are next level. Super bright screen too—no issues watching during the day or in a well-lit room. One of my favorite things is the Xbox Cloud Gaming support. I just paired my controller and jumped into some games without needing to buy an actual Xbox. Super convenient and works smoother than I expected. Sound is pretty decent on its own, but I’ve got it paired with my Q-Symphony soundbar and the combo really fills the room. Makes movies and games feel way more immersive. Overall, even without a lot of 8K stuff, the quality and features make it worth it for me. Great for gaming, watching movies, or just flexing a little with that 8K badge.

Installation instructions simple to follow, and was really impressed how the Styrofoam packing is utilised to help stabilise the TV whilst assembling the stand. After a week on the stand on a cabinet, we wall mounted it (took the stand off) in to 2 studs. Picture and sound quality is absolutely incredible! So happy we chose this TV
