Direct Writing Input
Fill out text boxes on your Samsung Tablet with actual writing. You can set your keyboard to detect when you’re using the S Pen and automatically open the writing pad when blank text boxes are selected.
Visible Pointer
You can set the device to show a pointer graphic when the S Pen is close enough to the screen. This is the native interface for using all of the various functions. It appears by default by removing the S Pen from the device while the screen is on.

With Air Command you can add any application on your device to the S Pen shortcut menu. Try adding apps you frequently use and open them in seconds.

This is a social network platform of sorts for Samsung Note users. You can create drawings, colour in existing drawings, and share your artwork across the platform with millions of users.
Air Commands
Notes
Choose from two Air Command functions for taking notes. The first creates a new note and the second opens the Samsung Notes app to view previous notes. Notes sync across devices via your Samsung account in case you buy a new S Pen device later. You can also add the View all notes Air Command to view every note you’ve made.
Screen Write
Take a screenshot of the entire screen with the Screen Write feature, write on the screenshot, then save it or share it with a single click.
Smart Select
Skip the cropping and resizing with this tool. Draw a shape anywhere on the screen to take screenshots of defined sections. You can also capture animations and turn them into GIFs for easy sharing on social media.
Translate
Don’t know that language? Hover the S Pen over a foreign word to instantly translate it. This feature can also play the audio of the word with the small sound icon next to the translation.
Live Message
Turn your text and pictures into GIFs with Live Message and share them on messaging apps and social media. This also works with the Samsung AR Emoji feature and you can also write on images you have previously created.
