[Unified Linux Driver Install Guide]

1. Make sure that you connect your machine to your computer. Turn both the computer and the machine on.
2. When the Administrator Login window appears, type in root in the Login field and enter the system password.

4. The driver will be extracted as ''cdroot'' folder in current path.

5. Smart Panel will be installed automatically and success message will be displayed in terminal.
6. Smart Panel will be launced automatically after installation.

5. Select ''Samsung Series ''from the Printer Name list and check if ''Samsung SCX-6x Series PS'' is automatically loaded for ''Printer Using'' field. If ''Samsung SCX-6x55 Series PS'' is NOT automatically loaded for ''Printer Using'' field, -For Macintosh OS 10.4, select ''Samsung'' to set ''Samsung SCX-6x55 Series PS''. -For Macintosh OS 10.5, select ''Select a driver to use.'' to set ''Samsung SCX-6x55 Series PS''.
6. Click Add.
7. If you can see the printer from printer list, make it default.
