I bought it last week, a d below is my review Great features are: design, materials, screen ratio 19.5:9, performance, battery life, sound and one ui software. Normal features but acceptable: Camera above average Fingerprint above average Screen above average Disadvantages: Low screen dimming frequency Charging speed about 80 minutes from 0 to 100% No charger nor case nor screen protector included in the box No hardware proximity sensor for closing screen during calls although it is do e by software and mostly works fines. No optical zoom lense in the camera Overall iam satisfied the experience (8 / 10 for the price)

Downgrading from a S series to the A series is not an easy transition! The A55 device is much bigger, thicker, heavier and all round chunkier; it's a brick! Too big to fit into pockets and needs a solid case to protect it. I used the device for a few weeks and it's the little nuances that makes the difference. For example, ID bubbles of text messages popping up when reading a book, I have to select the SMS app to respond which to me is an inconvenience. If you need a simple, cheaper phone in the Samsung series the A55 is for you. Samsung is an excellent make; I've been using them for years, but having being spoilt by the S series funtionality, the A series is not for me.

Recently bought Samsung A55. I am not at all happy with the phone. It automatically takes back up of the photos and videos in the phone every other day, even of the photos and videos that have been deleted. The backed up number of the photos and videos keeps increasing everytime. Even after deleting the back up the same photos and videos are backed up again the next time. It happens every 6-10 days. It is a sheer waist of time and energy to keep deleting the videos and photos again and again every other day. The phone itself is not very user friendly. I will not recommend it to anyone.

I bought this yesterday, sad to say the front camera sucks! You said that it offers "HIGH QUALITY" pictures but the color is DULL. I have fair colored skin but I appear yellowish when I use the front camera. My lips look dark in this phone as well. And not to mention the photo quality itself. The picture is NOT HIGH QUALITY. It's BLURRY! I feel like crying while trying to search to fix this because the phone is expensive. I have read the specs review here in your website and I was convinced. But what you guys tell are hoax. Please fix this!

Very good price. Moved from an Oppo find x5 pro which was very buggy, samsungs oneui is almost perfect. So much customization, no bugs that i have noticed. Charging speed could be slightly faster. But it is a budget phone after all. Screen size is awesome and the screen it self looks really good and high quality. Battery lasts me the whole day and sometimes even more which is super nice. The phone also looks like their premium phones which is so cool. Very happy with the phone.

I'm not happy with the colors, the A54 had much better colors, liked the purple one and was very sad when I saw the colors of A55. The hw is very good, it fits for me for everyday use, and at least these modells support the use of microSD card, which is a great option if you have hundred gigs of music. I'd be happy if you could add this functionality to the upper models again, that's a deal breaker to me. I'd think to buy an S25 or S25 FE if it supported microSD card.

I bought this phone last Friday. As I have never used a Smartphone before I was a bit apprehensive about whether I would be able to get the hang of it. I needn't have worried. It's a brilliant phone and I have found it very easy to get used to. I love the colour (blue/black) and I have found the phone easy to set up (i.e. personalising it with my choice of ring tones, background etc). I would definitely recommend Samsung A55.

Samsung always well designed and user friendly. Much easier to navigate and organise than other makes of phone my friends and family use. Battery life longer than my previous A22, but could still be better. Much prefer the on-screen biometrics, rather than side button. Apps run more smoothly. Would like an easier torch switch on e.g. shake. Camera great for snaps, but also took some great landscapes on daytrip to Brecon Beacons.

I bought this device on 28.05.2024. Switched to samsung after a long time use of Oppo reno series. Look wise this device is great but lack many features which are necesaary for device security.e.g. power off doesnot require password or fingerprint, scroll down menu doesnot lock and gets down even on lock screen, app lock is k key features which i misses a lot on my last phone of Oppo reno 5.

When I search for updates it says up to date but security patches where last updated February 2024 . I often get a pop up message that says I must update security updates when I scan my phone .

The phone is great, takes awesome pictures and videos but I think it lacks 4k in 60fps, great cpu handles alot of games very well, fingerprint scanner is optical but it's pretty fast for a optical fingerprint scanner. Also it will get supported until 2029 (I'm not sure).

I bought it a week ago, everything's fine, however im a little disapppinted with the face recognition and finger sensor. They feel laggy, the other problem is the swipe option, when you switch navigation bar to swipe, it feels laggy and not smooth

I bought A55 3 months ago and I found it worst device I ever used. It may harm your hearing power. As soon as I bring phone near to ear to listen a voice message or a voice call, suddenly voice will come out of loud speaker instead of ear piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good phone well made, it's a little bit heavy but it won't break anytime soon. Tha A55 is fast and responsive the screen is one of the best part. It's well worth the asking price, I'd you don't play high end games get this instead of an S24.

It has a very good display and camera and I can access mobile Wi-Fi better than with my old phone however, I would like to know why my wife’s M33 has a wi-if calling function listed in its connections functions but my A55 does not.

Glass of this model is not so good as it they said ... i got 3 scratches easely in the bottom of the screen they been seen under angle but glas gorilla glas plus invictus is not so god at all like suppoesd to be ;)

A superb mobile with all the essential knobs and whistles. I purchased the A55 to replace my A12 which had given excellent service. The screen is top notch and the permutations excel when one considers the price.

Really like it so far. Good battery life and charges quickly. Seems solid. Like that it's supported for 4 years, so I'm hoping paying a bit more for a phone than I usually would means that it will last longer.

I wouldn't recommend Samsung A 55 to anyone. Because my friends send messages on WhatsApp and say that when I call you, your phone is switched off.My friend who uses the same phone has the same problem.

It's pretty similar to my last A52 so easy to navigate. It takes an e-sim which I needed for travelling. Would have liked a bit more memory but didn't want to pay the extra. All good so far.

I would give it five but Samsung downgraded this model than galaxy a51 when it comes to display basel and the front camera size. A51 has smaller front camera and has less basel than a55.

I got this phone on the 20th of June 2024, I originally had an A33 and I mainly upgraded because I needed more storage, but when I upgraded, I realized that storage wasn't the only thing I needed. I love this phone, it feels premium in your hands, it fits well in my hands, I like the design, and the camera is pretty good, the performance is WAY better than the A33, and after switching to 120hz, I seriously cannot fathom going back to 90hz, everything feels right and it feels so smooth, and to be fair this phone does have a lower ppi (pixel per square inch) than the A33, and I thought the resolution would be worse but honestly I can't really notice it at all. I will say, one thing this phone REALLY needs, is wireless charging, if they could add wireless charging to the A56 or maybe even the A57 it would be an amazing feauture that would make this phone even better than it already is. It's a shame this phone isn't available in the US, as I feel like alot of people in that reigon will miss out on such an amazing device, but from my own research the A35 is almost as amazing as this phone, so they aren't fully missing out on what Samsung has to offer
