What to do if Samsung Pass is not working?
Samsung Pass lets you sign in securely to websites and apps using biometric authentication and stored credentials. However, you may encounter issues, such as errors while using the app or Autofill not working as expected. If this happens, you can report the issue directly from Samsung Pass and check a few settings to resolve the problem.
Report an issue in Samsung Pass
If you experience an error while using Samsung Pass, send a report to Samsung for fault finding so the issue can be identified and resolved more quickly. Follow the steps below to send a report.
Troubleshooting Autofill issues
If Autofill for sign in information does not work in the apps or websites you use, follow the instructions below.
Check 1. Check default Autofill service
Go to your device settings and check that Samsung Pass is set as the default Autofill service. If another service is selected, switch it to Samsung Pass.
Check 2. Review Excluded apps or Excluded sites
Open Samsung Pass and check if the app or website you are trying to use is listed under Excluded apps or Excluded sites. Autofill will not work for items on this list. If necessary, remove them from the exclusion list.
Check 3. Verify service support
Keep in mind that Autofill only works with apps and websites that support sign in via Autofill. If you have completed all the steps above and Autofill still does not work, the app or website may not be compatible.
Note:
- Menu names and options may differ depending on your device model and software version.
- Sending a report with detailed information and screenshots improves fault finding accuracy.
