However, I wish I had more selections for Christian programming. Very few and far between if any. As far as I know, there are none on the Samsung TV app. I have to go to other apps or to get Christian programming and that’s even scarce. The family apps or the family option is mainly all cartoons very very, very little Choices for Adult movies and shows that are family orientated And Christian. Our four star rating is basically on the appearance of the picture not the programming. I rate the Samsung TV program app I’ll probably be at one or two star. There’s just nothing on it that even appeals to me. I do have other apps that I subscribe to that I have put on the TV that I do watch and even then those are few and far between for family orientated Christian programming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] to start I use it it's very responsive very smooth very clean it gives great output the sound it sounds beautiful I can even hook up a surround sound speaker to it and it just it's perfect but when we go back to the basic speakers from the self sounds good it's nice crisp and clear brightness on the TV is absolutely perfect to go in and sometimes I'll mess with the settings and I've always thought that it's super clear and nice on just normal settings so I'd say the brightness is very good upscaling is very great not much to complain about there it's nice you know it fits just fine there's not much I can say about contrast I I've had no issues and I've had no complaints.

Not really that impressed and I find too many Options and the Remote is just too small and impossible to read or us at night. Had a hard time trying to find the INPUT options so that I change from the Smart TV viewing to in my case, Dish Network. It was way later explained that INPUT is in Settings under "PC".

The picture is clear, the screen looks great, and as far as being a TV goes, it definitely does its job well. Once I have everything where I want it, I enjoy watching it. However, I do think Samsung could make the everyday experience a little more user-friendly. My biggest frustration has been navigating the menus. Something as simple as switching over to my cable box took me longer than I expected because I had to figure out where to find the external source. I’ve also had trouble figuring out where to add or download other apps. I usually consider myself pretty capable of figuring out technology, but I’ve found myself Googling instructions for things that I feel should be easy to locate directly on the TV. Even then, the instructions I find online don’t always match what I’m seeing on my screen. Then there’s the remote. I like that it is small and simple, but the lettering on it is extremely tiny. I find myself having to really look closely just to see what some of the buttons say. A little larger print would make a huge difference. The U8000H is a good-looking TV with a very nice picture, and I’m happy with it overall. I just wish Samsung had made navigating sources, adding apps, and reading the remote as easy as enjoying the picture. Sometimes simple really is better.

Setting up the TV is proving to be quite frustrating, even though I've been part of the Samsung ecosystem for almost 2 decades. I don't like the remote either; call me old fashioned, but I love remotes that still have numbers on them. Shipping was also confusing; thankfully got items on time, but shipping details did not match what was on Samsung website or app. I did appreciate that the TV was able to connect to my phone quickly; the Smart things aspect seems to be responsive as well.

The brightness and contrast works well and gaming wise the responsiveness to game mode works very well... as far as tv speakers go, they are good but still a tv speaker. I think its a must to use a soundbar. The upscaling its very well in this tv. I just dont like the UI with the home screen nor the remote. Old models take that in my mind.

Picture is good. Not as sharp as an OLED. The picture is not to bright not to dark. The no reflection feature is effective. Relatively easy to set up. Soundbar connected easily and sounds great. A little confusing as to how to lower the sound on the remotes. I like all of the free features.

Sound is not as clear as my old Vizio TV. Everything else is good. My old TV did not have internet capabilities. I was using Chromecast to connect it to my Wi-Fi. It eliminated some of my issues connectivity.

My new Samsung TV has very clear pictures; however, the sound system is NOT GOOD. We have to set the sound to at least 56 and most often up to 80 to hear what is streaming. Even the news channels have to be set much higher than any other TV we have. Now I'm getting ad to buy an external sound system, so you must know your TV sound is really bad.

I just got a Samsung TV and Samsung Galaxy Ultra phone and so far I dont have any complaints. I love that I can use my phone as a remote if I can't find the actual remote. I also like that I can play my Xbox game in the TV without turning on the Xbox. The screen is clear and bright. You can browse the web when you hook up the wireless keyboard and mouse.

I like the unit, it’s great. But I hate the user interface. Navigating is unforgiving, obtuse to use a kind word, and it was the most difficult of the conversion by far. Same goes for the streamers - someone needs to tell those people how bad their user interfaces really are. I bought it because I wanted to cut the cord but I wasn’t prepared for the amateur user interfaces I was forced to navigate just to pick out my services. TV gets an A+, streamers and apps get a D-

Love my Samsung. Had a different tv before that was given to us but I couldn’t figure out how to run it. It was so confusing. So went out and bought a Samsung. It’s extremely easy to figure out all the buttons. And the picture is awesome.

I was looking to purchase 2 new TV’s. I had considered several smart TV’s, which were cheaper. My wife insisted we buy the SamsungTV’s, even though they were a little more. I gave in and we did get the 50” & 55” smart TV’s. Wow. The sharpness, contrast and sound are so much better, now that they’re home and I can see and hear the difference. They are great, amazing, etc. My only regret is that is should have gotten a 65” TV for the family room. Otherwise, I’m thrilled with my purchase.

The remote stinks and the setup online for selecting options to view is very complicated. I would not recommend this Tv BECAUSE OF THE REMOTE ALONE! Many of the features on the remote do not work consistently. The design makes it impossible to manage basic local stations as it is a design that puts streaming and movies and games as a priority. I would not give this TV a 1 if I had the option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to unpack and setup. Using it with a flip down ceiling bracket which attached easily. Only negative I have found thus far is the sluggish tv reponse to remote commands. I am not wild about the Home Screen apps alignment. There may be a way to rearrange them but haven’t found it.

The TV IS GREAT, the remote is completely not working at all! Ordered 2nd remote, it’s not working!!! Have to use phone or I-pad as remote.. Samsung needs to get on this remote issue, sounds like a lot of people have same issue!!!

I really enjoy my new Samsung TV now that it is setup but the process was not as simple as it could have been. Setting up the Wifi feed was a bit confusing as the instructions didn't state that the TV would automatically link with my wifi signal so I was looking to input my Wifi password at the beginning of the process. Also I understand wanting to get the user access to all the streaming channels easily but because I use the Amazon Firestick they are available there, already logged in and operable. Also for older owner, such as myself it can be a bit foreboding to navigate through all the streaming channels instead of simply adding the ones desired as I choose. Beyond that the TV performance is very good and controls are are great. I am very pleased with my new TV.
