The Sound is so good with crisp treble and powerfull well done subwoofer bass. Some has complained about the subwoofer, but note one essential thing: The bass is very dIfferent with the dIfferent apps. E.g. in Netflix the bass is trembling in the Samsung UHD 4k player M9500 app and can’t be used. But the app in my Samsung TV is excellent and the bass is wonderful. And with Apple TV app you have a third option. This is unfortunate but try dIfferent solutions.
One critical remark though: It can be difficult to have a constant connection Between TV and the 950 soundbar. Has Something to do with the Anynet function, I Think. But not a defining problem.

i honestly love the sound that comes from this system when watching movies and television.
my problem with this system is that it seems to reboot or reset itself once in a while for no reason whatsoever. this makes whatever is showing on the tv go completely black until the soundbar appears again. this is incredibly frustrating and can take you out of the moment during an amazing film
it happens on any hdmi port and whether i'm using my apple tv 4k or my xfinity cable box.
hopefully this is just a software issue that can be fixed and i would be able to give this system 5 stars after that.

It's really sad that you spend all this money on this soundbar (K950) and Samsung refuses to give it a DTS X update or even a DTS HD MA update. This was not a cheap soundbar at all but Samsung has already abandoned the product in hopes that we would give in and get the new N950, but that won't be the case I'm going to Sony cause unlike Samsung they still support and update their older products which is why their ST-5000 Dolby Atmos soundbar got an DTS X update even though it's a older product that shows that they actually care about there customers which I can appreciate

when listening to bass heavy, complex modern music, this system moves your soul. complete clarity and maybe that's where it might throw people off. bose does that too. audiophiles like me can purchase with confidence. the sound lives all around you. i've never felt more in the middle of music and movies. it handles being cranked. when you turn that dial up, you really come to appreciate how it turns music and movies into an experience. marvel and star wars fans, look no further. i've had it over a year and have grown to appreciate it more and learned how to use it better over time. mastering the settings is key. this is a modern system that checks all the boxes. it's the centerpiece of how i enjoy movies and music.

Sound bar portion sounds amazing. Subwoofer is loud (a little to boomy in my opinion though). Lack of 5.1 dts is annoying is you plan on watching blurays. The main reason for 3 star review is even with latest firmware, and turning all speakers to -3 and rear speakers and rear upward speakers to +3 I cant get enough volume out of the rears to be noticeable. Also the rears hiss (maybe affected by wifi router?) Honesty the hwk850 may be a better choice because of this. If Samsung patches them to be adjustable to be louder or adds dts 5.1 support I will update my review.

PRO: I will agree the sound in ATMOS is GREAT!
CONS: I have had times when the sound shuts off completely or the speakers loose their sync I have to shut everything off to recover. I do not get the ATMOS detection Blue LED in the display and on some ATMOS 4K Blu-Ray disks I get no sound and sometimes I'll get and error that states my HDMI input doesn't support UHD. The Bitstream unselected sometimes does not function, ie on the Movie Passengers and I've tried two discs. I also would like to have the other DTS formats available.

I high end premium sound with Atmos enabled applications and movies that fall short with a lack of DTS:X surround sound support, No 120Hz support on HDMI ports, Only 2 inputs (Seems rather limiting, would be good to see atleast 3), No HDMI over Arc.
Although the sound quality can be amazing the lack of features for the price point makes this a pretty average sell. Any future buyers may want to to look at the latesst 'N' series with the 'N950" which looks to fix a few of these issues.

Purchased from a big-box electronics store, I highly suggest getting an extended warranty if you purchase this system. While it worked it fit our needs very well, the wireless solution was perfect for our room layout. My/our only complaint is that it didn't last more than a year and a half. Too high of a price point to be so short lived.
The app is cumbersome compared to others out there. We'll be looking to another brand for the replacement soundbar and wireless rear/sub combo.

Na problemen met de levering heb ik hem nu net een paar dagen in huis. Het is een gewichtig pakket wat wel iets zegt over het gebruik van de materialen. Eerste indruk is prima! Wel even zoeken naar hoe alles met elkaar verbonden moet worden. Helaas maakt 1 van de surroundboxen geen verbinding met de soundbar. Hopelijk kan dit makkelijk verholpen worden. De mogelijkheden van de app moet ik nog verder ontdekken, ziet er wel overzichtelijk uit. Verheug mij op alle filmavonden!!

The rear speakers (incl. sub woofer) are always losing connection. I have tried every trick in the book and manually connected them over and over again. Their range is next to nothing, and will flash blue or stay a solid red for their connectivity status and not play a sound. For those rare times when I move the speakers really close immediately after manually connecting them, you may occasionally hear a faint sound coming from them, even after playing a Dolby Atmos program on supported devices.
I suppose my 150 mbps internet and router next to the TV is causing interference, but I need that for my gaming and streaming.
The speakers are of good quality, but the software and connectivity hardware are NOT up to par. I couldn't even imagine how someone could buy this before they came out with basic 5.1 DTS support.

Such a clever and amazingly sounding system, having had the full 9.1 home cinema system before and not wishing to go that route in our new home we plumped for this bar two week ago, no regrets regarding the sound reproduction, truly excellent, but Samsung has some "cleaning up" to do with the software updates, mine has an annoying hissing from the rear speakers when on "surround" mode (which is most of the time), come on Samsung, make this the perfect solution?

No la recomiendo, afortunadamente creo que está descatalogada. Se lleva fatal con un TV Qled, falla la conexión HDMI, constantes perdidas de emparejamiento de los satélites y el subwoofer, y por el precio que tiene. El servicio técnico inexistente. La actualización ni se sabe como funciona ni resuelve nada. Y para poner la guinda al pastel, una app SAMSUNG MULTIROOM que no vale para gran cosa. Lamentable. Adiós SAMSUNG. Hasta nunca.

While the sound might be pretty good for a bar with conventional 5.1 content this bar has one major issue. it does not support dolby atmos or vision processing via the HDMI ARC.
This is a huge oversight considering most 2016 & onward smart TVs support dolby atmos / vision streaming apps (netflix / vudu / amazon etc). So there is no way for this sound bar to receive dolby atmos signal via its ARC HDMI connected to your TV.
The sound bar does not support Dolby Vision pass thru either, only HDR10. So anyone with a Dolby Vision UHD bluray player cannot pass the DV signal through the sound bar. This means you have to have 2 HDMI outs from your UHD player (1 to go to the soundbar and the other to your tv).
Pretty embarrassing stuff really from Samsung, they should take a really hard look at themselves if this is the best soundbar they can come up with.

Sounds great but frustrating to not have DTS 5.1/7.1 or DTSX Support. Hoping Samsung adds DTS 5.1/7.1/X Support. Would be quite frustrating if Samsung adds DTS Support in next year's model and claim it a "new feature". Last, the rear speaker hiss when not in use and can get annoying. Besides the lacking of DTS 5.1/7.1/X Support and the rear speaker hiss the soundbar is great but definitely feel like it can be improved upon.

- no dolby atmos support via HDMI-ARC, so basically even if your TV supports atmos, you won't be able to use it. Of course, you can use blue-ray players or Xbox One (Netflix app), but it's not the thing you expect when you buy a flagship product
- no dts:x support
- surround speakers disconnect from time to time (for around one second)
- in general, you can save around $500 and get a similar soundbar without atmos

subwoofer starts to fall out after 2 years flawless use. now i need to reconnect manually each time i turn the system on. the soundbar is connected to the wi-fi so it 's software is automatically updated. every time i turn the system on it gives me the message "check cubwoofer". i wait for it to connect, to givet it a chance, but it it will not connect, so i have to do a id.set to get the subwoofer up and playing.

I bought this about 2 years ago, had to replace main board because it stopped activating dolby atmos or any HD audio about a year into owning it but it was repaired under warranty. Now same problem, little over a year later again..... so now 4k movie or any bluray with HD audio has, well, NO AUDIO. Something that cost so much is so unreliable. I look after my stuff so there was no reason for this to happen, AGAIN!

Prachtig geluid zit er in al kost het wel een beetje tijd om de juiste afstelling te vinden. Maar als het staat dan staat het ook goed. Mooie heldere stemgeluiden en een prachtige bas voor de special effect. Echt een genot om naar te luisteren je gaat helemaal op in de films. Muziek luisteren is ook geweldig al heb je hier net effe weer wat andere settings voor nodig. al met al een top apparaat. echt een aanrader!

ZADOWOLONY JESTEM,,że nie dokupiłem głośników tylnych za 1200 zl. Spodziewałem się choć trochę czegoś a tu lipca po całości. Dolby atmos??HI hi hi aplikacja multiroom ha ha ha. Mój Galaxy Note 10 sam ją usuwał +dla niego. Nawet
wsparcie techniczne nie wiedziało co do czego jak to włączyć żeby ładnie grało. Powinno sie informować przy zakupie HW-K950 Samsung UWAGA Produkt może ale nie musi.

The atmos feature of this soundbar is really great but the sound from the rear is very inferior and almost non-existent.
I have tried netflix 5.1 and a lot of other 5.1 sources and the rears are almost useless. For the price, you might be better off getting a proper home theater system.
Or, Samsung please provide an update to fix this issue and make this soundbar universally amazing.

Net een paar dagen binnen. Aangesloten en opgehangen aan de bijgeleverde muurbeugels. Fluitje van een cent. Alleen de juiste instellingen nog even vinden. Aansluitmogelijkheden via de TV met TV ontvanger van KPN zijn WIFI, Bluetooth en HDMI. Met dat laatste nog een beetje aan het stoeien vooral omdat de TV aan de muur hangt en je dan lastig bij de aansluitingen komt. Komt vast goed!

- ATMOS is really impressive

The bad things:
- Terrible dead air/hiss sound from rears when no audio being played
- No Support for DTS X or 5.1 DTS track (Only DTS 2.0)
- Multiroom App is unfinished and buggy (has potential)
- No dedicated input buttons on remote, requiring to scroll through inputs(makes programming Harmony Remotes a pain)

Heb de soundbar nu een paar dagen en ik heb er totaal geen spijt van. Makkelijk te installeren en draadloos werkt alles perfect. Zowel de achter speakers als de sub woofer werden direct herkent. Het geluid is overweldigend en niveaus zijn goed in te stellen (wel even voor gaan zitten en testen). Meerdere standen zoals sport, film etc etc. Afspelen vanaf telefoon of tablet over Wi-Fi werkt heel goed met de multiroom app.
Naast dit alles is het design naar mijn mening super strak en van zeer stevig materiaal (ijzer). 2 kleine minpunten wel. 1. er hadden meer HDMI poorten aanwezig mogen zijn (zitten er 2 in), maar je tv als hub gebruiken voor overige apparatuur werkt ook prima. (Voor atmos moet je Blu-ray speler rechtstreeks op HDMI aangesloten te zijn). Jammer dat Samsung geen speaker standaards of beugels levert. Ben er nog niet voor geslaagd, gezien het gewicht van de surround speakers en de schroefmogelijkheden.

Was really excited about this soundbar. 500 Watts and Atmos!!!! Got the 1st one and hooked it up as per instructions> Samsung K8500 4K blu ray player and cable box to sound bar via hi speed HDMI cable and ARC out to ARC TV. Set TV sound out correctly. Got no audio or video. Re-checked connections and cables.. Put cables back into TV HDMI ports and ARC to ARC. Got Video, but no sound.. Contacted tech support from vendor I bought from and Samsung..Conclusion: bad Soundbar HDMI port. Sent replacement.. Got it all hooked up.. Woofer and speakers wouldn't pair. Contacted Tech support again.. conclusion: Stuck in store demo mode. could not reset. So, I returned the other one as well. Not sure if I just had bad luck, as the other reviews I read were all positive but....... On a good note, the 4K blu ray player, although expensive is absolutely fantastic.
Too bad.. REALLY wanted this but now will look at another Manufacturer.

Puedo decir que el sonido es sobresaliente, aun cuando no escuchas nada en ATMOS y pones en ON el sonido envolvente.
Pero cuando escuchas el sonido ATMOS a través de un DVD Blu-ray es excelente, haciendo que el sonido que ya te parecía sobresaliente sin ATMOS se quede muy por debajo, solo hay que probar a escuchar el sonido en ATMOS para poder sentir la diferencia.

If you are playing Dolby Atmos (blue LED), sound is outstanding. If you are playing DTS Master Audio. You will be unhappy customer. Sound quality is terrible - rear speaker are very low in sound effect.
Playing movies @ stereo sound, it is not cool at all.
Release update and fix this issues. To many unhappy customer for this great design.

This soundbar has to be probably the most expensive comfort item I have treated myself to and it keeps on giving me gifts, through my ears. My friends envy me, due to the 3D sound quality, even through a optical connection. This is a MUST for any muso fan, or a movie buff. I love my Samsung soundbar so much I would marry it, if I could.

Sinds een week heb ik deze soundbar en tot nu toe bevalt het meer dan goed. Het uitstekende geluid zorgt voor veel diepgang en net dat beetje extra bij het film kijken.
De SB connectie heel makkelijk met de tv en met de draadloze speakers/subwoofer. Ik ben helemaal blij en kan niet wachten tor er meer content komt voor Dolby Atmos

Unit stopped functioning after about a year and a half. Now is permanently stuck in D.In mode and cannot update firmware even with USB. Aside from some occasional brief subwoofer disconnects it was a great sounding unit, but disappointed overall with longevity of this soundbar. Save your money and buy something else.

Caractéristiques et design parfait. Par contre problème de souffle (bruit blanc) sur les haut-parleurs arrière en mode 5.1 standard et encore plus perceptible en mode surround. Une mise à jour ? Un problème sur mon mon modèle ? Pour le reste le son est très bon, l'immersion excellente.

I have had the HK-950 for over a year now and fed up with it poor connectivity issues to my Samsung UHD TV ( you would assume this would be the best scenario) it constantly drops out of ARC mode and reverts to Wifi until you unplug everything...not worth the high price, don't buy.

Vanaf het moment dat ik deze soundbar heb geinstaleerd geniet ik van het geweldige geluid. De atmos beleving in je eigen huiskamer is uniek.
Een klein minpuntje is dat Samsung geen tv’s heeft die atmos ondersteunen. Dit is op te lossen door het aansluiten van een Xbox.

First of all this is sounding great! But Samsung is causing their own system this bad a rating. It does not support Atmos through ARC which makes this product completely irrelevant for most people with a smart tv. Do not buy this. You will get nothing out of it.

I paiod it a lot too much. It doesn't connect to my phone. Neither my computer. Can't change volume with remote. Can't have access to any surround. Don't even play netflix with surround : if i don't go to stereo EVERY episode I can't even hear anything.

de stekker is wel zeer groot en dus moeilijk voor in een stekkerblok.

This is a nice addition to my home theater system. It looks great and sounds good. Bought at a good deal but not cheap. See my "con" below. I like the sub woofer that can rattle the windows but this one doesn't. You can hear it but not feel it.

When it works in Atmos mode it's impressive but it regularly crashes and needs to be reset. Missing DTS HD formats and terrible support for software updates not to mention appealing customer service now it has developed a hardware fault.

Compré este producto hace unas semanas y es perfecto para disfrutar de series y películas.
La actualización ultima permite disfrutar de dts en 5.1 perfecto, ( en la caja pone Dts 2.0)
Si oímos la señal de TV ( estéreo o dolby estéreo ) por todos los altavoces con surround On, la señal en los traseros es casi imperceptible, esto es una pena.
Lo mismo ocurre con señal nativa Dolby Digital 5.1 , es increíble que los traseros suenen tan poco, no hay casi presencia trasera. Esto es tema de software, pero actualización para cuando?
Si la señal es DTS 5.1 o Dts HD o Dolby True ( estas ultimas procedentes de Bluray o vídeo MKV o msts ) los traseros suenan perfectos, impresionantes. Con Atmos el sonido es igualmente perfecto.
Faltaría solucionar el audio dolby digital 5.1. Solucionar mejoras de la señal de TV a surround "envolvente".
Faltaría que el display indique que tipo de descodificación está realizando para saber si estamos oyendo optimamente el audio.
Espero que la sucesora serie N venga con estas mejoras o sería un error por parte de la marca.

I struggled to understand why I wasn't hearing dolby atmos on my HW-K950 soundbar which was connecting to my Samsung UBD-KM85C ultra HD Blu-Ray and my Samsung UN55HU 7200 UHD TV. I was watching a DVD that was clearly labeled Dolby Atmos. I followed precisely the HW-K950 setup guide as follows: Dolby Atmos sound can only be decoded via HDMI at the TV side. Use HDMI with ARC to connect. Blu-Ray player needs to be connected to the soundbar and the settings should be changed via the following steps: Blu-Ray Player Settings> Menu > Sound > Digital Output > Bitstream (unprocessed). But still no Dolby Atmos. The soundbar acknowledges Dolby Atmos by displaying a blue led bar on the front top right side and by scrolling the words "Dolby Atmos" across the LED display. The solution was to purchase HDMI cables that are HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 quality. The movie was distinctly different and much better sounding as was the sound in general when playing music from YouTube or streaming Netflix. The cables that came with my samsung devices were not capable of delivering Dolby Atmos.

After years of listening to TV and movies with a modest 5.1 system, I decided to try something new. Not having a huge budget, I was looking for something that would 1) sound good, 2) look nice and 3) not break the bank.
So off I went to do some research. The store I went to, had various systems setup and I was able to see and hear what they would sound like. I tested a few 5.1 and 7.1 systems and they were nice … but out of my budget. Then I moved to sound bars, but nothing struck me, that is, until I heard this Samsung system. I was blown away by the sound. Voices were clear, music was beautiful and action clips were off the charts.
The price was still more than I wanted to spend, but I figured "okay, I'll tighten my belt for a few months .. this is worth it"
When the system arrived, it took about 30 minutes to setup the sound bar, subwoofer and rear speakers. The beauty of this system is, once you turn it on … everything connects automatically! So now the real test, how would it sound in my home .. answer GREAT, I absolutely love this system. Well done Samsung!

This soundbar is not able to play TrueHD streams from the Nvidia Shield TV. This is unfortunate since the Shield TV is one of the few streaming devices that supports Atmos over TrueHD.

Twee weken terug heb ik deze soundbar besteld als upgrade van de huidige Samsung HW J-450. Direct viel mij op dat de montage beugels voor de achter speaker ontbraken.
Bij de installatie kwam ik er achter dat de soundbar de standaard functie Soundconnect niet ondersteunt. Erg jammer voor mensen die een oudere Samsung tv hebben. Bij de installatie had ik ook direct problemen met de achterspeakers. Na diverse oplossingen geprobeerd te hebben heb ik ze geconnect gekregen, maar deden de achterspeakers alsnog niet mee bij het geluid. Na een dag puzzelen kwam ik er achter dat ze alleen mee doen op de surround stand, maar erg minimaal. Dit kun je bijstellen maar dan nog is de bijdrage van de achterspeakers beperkt.
De dagen erna diverse keren uitval gehad. Ook gaat de soundbar niet altijd automatisch uit bij het uitschakelen van de tv.
De soundbar eens goed getest en het geluid is super! Zeker bij moderne films. Echter, voor deze prijs vind ik de kwaliteit ten opzichte van de J-450 erg tegenvallen. Samen met de kleine faaltjes, de slechte communicatie met een tv van een paar jaar oud en de missende beugels heeft dit mij doen besluiten de soundbar terug te sturen.

I love this system and at the same time it can be a pain a lot of times.
The sound is amazing, it's well built, it's easy to install and looks beautiful. Also music sounds brilliantly on this system.
At the same time it has a lot of problems:
1) It doesn't do a great job connecting through ARC. First I had a Vizio TV, it kept connecting and disconnecting, I could lose the signal of the Blu ray movie 30 TIMES! during the movie. The same happened with Bluetooth and Wifi.
I decided to replace my system and also buy a 2016 Samsung TV. The problem improved but there are still great annoyances. Everytime I raise the volumen too fast it makes my Samsung TV crash. It's crazy that 2 Samsung products don't get to work properly together.
2) Like a lot of people describes, there's a persistent hissing of the 2 back speakers in most of the content and they don't sound that good. They're amazing for Dolby Atmos content, but that's it.
3) THE MOST IMPORTANT FLAW: NO DTS X or 5.1 compatibility. So I always keep looking for a few movies compatible with Dolby Atmos, because half of new releases aren't compatible.
I already replaced this system once and I'm still not sure if I want to keep it.
Samsung should fix the DTS compatibility issue and the ARC problem ASAP.

THE GOOD:
The HW-K950 can hardly be considered a mere "soundbar" because it is actually a full Atmos sound system, with rear wireless speakers and subwoofer.
The sound quality is superb and when ATMOS is activated, look out: it will blow you away with full, rich, clear and truly immersive sound with plenty of power to back it up.
The soundbar, itself, is hefty, containing eleven speakers (9 frontal and 2 ceiling pointing) and it is long, measuring 4' across. . You need a good size base upon which to set it.
The two rear speakers produce great sound and also have ceiling firing speakers. In the ATMOS mode they really kick it.
THE BAD:
Incredibly, this great sounding ATMOS system loses its appeal when playing 5.1 and 7.1 DTS Master Audio. It only plays in stereo and uses the rear speakers as weak duplicates of the front. This is a MAJOR lapse in engineering and really needs to be fixed quickly. A friendbought the system and returned it for that very reason. And I'm still undecided, since so many Blu Ray disks default to 5.1 DTS MA.
And since ARC is used I am a little disappointed that I have to read the menu screen on the soundbar, which is small.
Lastly, while the sub-woofer produces an immense bass, it borders on being too bassy, even with a -12 option.
OVERALL:
I like the system and would really love it if Samsung just went all the way and, instead of giving us two-channel DTS, I mean, really, two channel?, gave us a fully abled sound system that played the two major sound formats.

Beste lezer,
Ik heb al ruim 10 jaar ervaring met Samsung producten en iedereen heeft zo zijn eigen merk. Samsung stelt mij niet teleur en het prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend.
Ik heb deze soundbar samen met een QLED-tv en een 4K blu-ray speler gekocht.
Het is even een flinke uitgave maar je hebt er direct geen spijt meer van als alles eenmaal hangt, staat en ingesteld is.
Je moet er even voor gaan zitten en alles rustig door nemen. Alles werkt ideaal.
Bijzonder genoeg werkt de one-remote perfect op alle aangesloten apparaten wanneer deze goed zijn geconfigureerd.
Mocht je alleen de soundbar aan hebben staan om via BlueTooth muziek af te spelen werkt de one-remote ook als afstandsbediening voor je playlists op je mobiele telefoon (gekoppeld geweest met een Samsung Note8 en was muziek aan het afspelen via mijn NAS) of tablet. Of deze functie ook werkt met andere merken weet ik niet maar ik denk het wel.
Geluid is helder en komt goed over, spraak is duidelijk en goed verstaanbaar.
Subwoofer is zoals ik al gewend was van mijn oude 5.1 dolby systeem van Samsung erg aanwezig. Wat ik niet vervelend vind bij een feesje. Heb hier veel over gelezen online en veel mensen vinden dit een min punt. Hier ben ik het mee totaal mee oneens.
Samsung weet het en heeft op de afstandsbediening van de Soundbar een speciale volume regelings knop voor je sub-woofer! Helemaal geweldig!
Volume instellingen zijn zonder gedoe zo snel in te stellen. Ik snap niet waarom mensen dit dan weer niet in een Review of beoordeling zetten...
Als voorbeeld voor je sub-woofer volume: Overdag op 0 / Feesje +4 / Wanneer de kids in bed liggen -5. Dank je wel voor het meedenken en luisteren naar onze kritiek Samsung.
De atmos speakers werken uitstekend, multi-room ook.
Vond het een makkelijke installatie en zeer tevreden over alle resultaten.

I've had this soundbar for around six months now and overall have been very happy with it. The Atmos is excellent with sounds coming from all over the room and thunderous bass from the sub. I like the design and the wireless speakers feature. I really like to crank up my movies and this item has no problem handling my desire to go deaf. As well, I like the Samsung Multiroom app tha allows you to update the system and make adjustments with the equalizer.
That said, there are drawbacks which are impossible to ignore for a consumer, but don't seem to be important to Samsung.
1. DTS:X. Everyone mentions it, everyone wants it, yet we still don't have it. I'm not sure why Samsung can't provide a firmware update to rectify this glaring omission, but as another reviewer stated: doing so would dramatically increase the satisfaction amongst users. Dolby Atmos is becoming more prevalent on discs and in streaming, but we really miss out on having the best audio option available for films like the Harry Potter series, Serenity, and Apollo 13.
2. Connectivity with the rear speakers. Another common theme in reviews and on message boards for this soundbar is the fact that the rear speakers can be troublesome at times. It's always been an easy fix for me, personally: I just turn the system off and back on and that usually gets things back in working order. For the first time, I experienced an issue with the sound going out altogether three times while watching Blade Runner 2049 in Atmos last night. I haven't seen anyone else mention this, so I assume it is the soundbar. Again, this is the first time it's happened, so I'm hoping it's not a recurring problem.
While I love the look and sound from this product, it would be hard for me to recommend it for anyone who takes movie-watching seriously. But anyone who would be in the market for this soundbar would do just that.
I'm begging you, Samsung. Give us DTS:X... please! You did great by implementing DTS with the last firmware update, so please reward those of us who have invested in your product with the whole enchilada. Then, I can give the K950 the score it deserves.

beste, deze volwaardige maar toch nog vrij compacte draadloze 5.1 samsung sounbar set heeft dus ook 2 achterluidsprekers, er zitten in totaal 4 dolby atmos speakers in deze set, 2 vooraan in de soundbar en 2 in de achter surround speakers die dus het geluid van boven laten komen door weerkaatsing. het is door deze techniek een 5.1.4 systeem. het geluid van deze set is zeer goed en helder en deze is zeer krachtig met een totaal vermogen van 500 watt continu r.m.s dus. ook het gebruikte matriaal is van zeer goede kwaliteit, alles is dus zeer stevig genouwd uit metaal met een zeer stevige metalen grillen rondom de speakers om alles goed te kunnen beschermen. de onder en achterhand is zeer stevig pvc. voor zo een kleine subwoofer (8") en zo een kleine subwooferkast, geeft hij toch echt wel nog een krachtige bas weergave op middelmatig volume al zet ik de woofer dan wel op de max. stand van +3, deze kan van - 3 tot + 3 de trebel van de soundbar is ook te regelen van -3 tot plus 3. bij mij staat de trebel ook op +3. ik heb altijd een zeer krachtige 12" subwoofer en set gehad van logitech z5500. dus had ik wel graag een iets grotere subwoofer gehad (maar dit is dan persoonlijk) van bv 10, 12 of 15" of de mogelijkheid bij samsung gezien om zo een 2 de subwoofer bij te kunnen kopen van 8" dus 2 subs van 8 " aan elke kant van de tv. aangezien ik gelezen heb dat 2 kleine subs langs de 2 kanten nog veel betere basweergave geeft dan 1 grote, maar dat is dan enkel persoonlijke smaak. 1 minpuntje heb ik wel: dat er veel te weinig instellingen zijn om de bas en trebel te regelen voor elk -3 t.e.m.+3 is veel te weinig. want je moet de bas dan op +3 zetten en de soundbar al op het volume tussen de 30 en 50 zetten, voor dat de bas perfect tot zijn recht komt en je volledig kan laten meeslepen, op dit volume hoor en voel je de bas dan weer wel bij een goede film met explosies of andere films met veel basweergave. (het max volume van de soundbar is 100). ook zijn de instellingen om de bas en trebel te regelen via afstandsbediening deze werkt soms wel en soms niet. waarschijnlijk opgelost via de gratis app op de telefoon. het volume kan ik niet regelen via afstandsbediening maar het is mogelijk om het volume van de soundbar met het volume te bedienen van de afstandsbediening van mijn tv toestel heb ik eens gemerkt (ik weet alleen niet meer hoe) dus gewoon nog even zoeken. voor de rest zijn de intellingen wel allemaal zeer goed. ;-) Bluetooth / WiFi / Streaming en
bediening via gratis app daar kan ik nog niks over zeggen, omdat ik deze nog niet getest heb. de installatie liep perfect al heb ik wel ff gevloekt om alles te vinden voor de instellingen allemaal te doen, maar dit is ook compleet normaal als je iets nieuw koopt van elektronica. kortom: voor zo een draadloze, volwaardige 5.1 home cinema set die via de atmos speakers een volwaardige 5.1.4 systeem word zoals deze, die ook nog eens 4 dolby atmos speakers heeft en waar geen aparte versterker meer nodig is, dan is deze set zeker de beste keuze kwa prijs/kwaliteit en een echte topper te noemen.
