i love everything about my new monitor it has all the bells and whistels i just used my xbox one x on it last night and it was working great it ate all that powet the xbox one x has to throw at it it plays in 1440p 50 hz refresh rate plus 60 amd radion sync is a huge plus the pip mode is awesome you can watch tv our game on one side and do what ever you want on the other side i went from a 27” curved 1080 p monitor to this phenominal monitor i was getting 16-8 to 23-7 last night on cod and i just started back gaming again its amazing get yours today movies looks incredible on it everything does must have 10/10!!!!!

The image clarity is outstanding, it reduces eye strain, and the image quality is amazing. the screen splitting capabilities make it easier to multitask. As a Network Engineer, working with multiple programs simultaneously such as analyzing spreadsheets to compare data, check emails, and editing and configuration tasks increase my productivity. In addition, the image quality and screen size of this monitor is ideal gaming. I enjoy this monitor so much that I am purchasing one for my wife

Having two applications running side by side with room to spare is quite an awesome experience on this one monitor. Plus you can include additional inputs from another PC, game system, or TV simultaneously with the Picture in Picture / Picture by Picture feature. I am able to open three times the number of windows that I would usually open on my Mac. With the use of Spectable, it becomes really easy to move windows around, and make the best use of the screen. It is also designed to be very light. When I initially received the delivery, I couldn't even believe how easy it was to lift the box. In fact, my package delivery person also pointed out the same thing. The picture display quality is amazing. The screen is very crisp while coding and sharp for gaming and viewing videos. I would recommend anyone looking for a new monitor to get this one. It's definitely a great investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Samsung Ultra wQHD monitor a few weeks ago, and wow!, the size and brightness of this screen is impressive. i was extremely excited to see what Samsung DEX would look like and perform on this screen, and it does not disappoint, settings were perfect right out of the box. with my multi tasking, pulling up multiple documents to work on and researching in the browser, i have essentially created a complete desktop setup for less than $500.00 that performs seamlessly and is more than enough for the tasks i am going to require of it. The unboxing and setup was extremely easy, no instructions necessary, in a world where poeple pay IT departments to do anything tech related, this makes them obsolete!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is my daily driver. So it's practically being used 12 hours a day. I used it work, gaming and media consumption. There is nothing to complain about. The color quality is great. No issues with sharpness or brightness. The monitor has AMD FreeSync as well, so games don't really have any tearing and looks good. The PIP mode is something I use often because I connect my laptop as well as my desktop and have them running simultaneously. This, I have to say, is one of the best features on the monitor. The only complaint I have is, the HDMI slot 1 only supports upto 50HZ.

I can get things done so much quicker by using the screen splitting technology picture by picture is the easiest way to complete a lot of work at once which makes it is so amazing for work and I just love this. I can't say enough good about this monitor. The picture quality is fantastic. Screen clarity is superb. This is just the trick to keep me up to date on my work so I can spend more time with my family and doing the things I love. Thank you for the opportunity to try out this wonderful product. Samsung really out did yourself. The quality and picture are just excellent. I am tend to get migraines when working on a computer but this one I do not! This is beyond amazing!!!

Now I have plenty of room working in Adobe premier pro &amp; after effects, no more scrolling side side to see everything. It was packaged well, attached the stand in seconds. Although little, LOVE the cable clip on the back to keep them inline with the stand and hidden.. picture quality of the WQHD is amazing, it is Sharp, colors are bright and crisp!! Havent used the pip option havent needed too! I would highly recommend it for anyone using video or photo editing software

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor daily, gaming, watching movies, etc. The monitor looked beautiful at first out of the box, but after several months it started flickering, which got worse and worse. Sometimes it won't turn on/off, and will have to be reset by unplugging it. Now there is a vertical strip of dead pixels about 2 inches wide going down the middle of the monitor. I don't know if I got a defective one or if this is common. I do know that I've had a terrible experience with it and I would probably never buy a Samsung monitor again for fear of this happening.

Where do I begin?? I'm EXTREMELY (and I wish that I clukd make this letters bigger) disappointed with the quality of this monitor. Right from the moment that I turned this monitor on, without even plugging a computer in yet, I began to see different color lines of pixels. I read a review about "seizing Samsung" and of course that I ignored it because I am a devoted (was maybe) Samsung user and ordered the monitor regardless. The color was (I am returning this junk) horrible, dull, yellowish colors (my laptop looked 100% better. Of course that I played with the settings and resolutions, without success. Besides what everyone else's says, if you can stay away from this monitor do so. Again, I am a devoted Samsung users, but this monitor has lots to be desired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A bright and wide monitor that lacks a few basics and is unreliable when you need it most. It checks the main boxes I need in a WQHD, but lacks inbuilt speakers. Multi input (2x hdmi+DP) split screen mode are a god-send. Besides the speaker issue, the screen tends to hibernate for long periods when an input device is shut down, sleeps or removed. Repeatedly moving the joy stick does nothing to wake the screen, even though the input device is awake. Besides this annoying quirk and lack of speakers, it's a decently good setup.

Negatívum:A tápegység figyelmeztetést tartalmaz, mely szerint a fali aljzatba, csak egy bizonyos szögben (0-90fok) szabad a hálózati csatlakozót bedugni, mert egyéb esetben tűzveszélyes. Arra vonatkozóan semmiféle információ nincs, hogy egy vízszintesen elhelyezett padlózati hálózati csatlakoztatáskor a tűzveszély fennáll-e. Nem értem a figyelmeztetést, ha tűzveszélyes miért lehet forgalomba hozni, ha nem az, akkor miért a figyelmeztetés. Mi a helyzet egy padlózati áramforrás esetében?

The widescreen view is perfect for multiple windows side by side on that screen. The colors are vibrant and all the typical monitor features are nice. I've had the monitor for several years, and it has lasted really well. The only issue is an occasional dark area upon turning it on, but it clears up by cycling through the sources or by turning off/on. It'd be nice if it had speakers but being able to connect it to speakers works fine.

this is the best monitor i had in years. for the price its worth buying. there are also few thing which can be taken care like the joystick controls in the back is hard to reach for this size of the monitor. 75hz is bang for the money. almost 4k resolution is great, panel is okay with good viewing angles. colors are meh but you get what you paid for. no adjustable tilt or rising up is one more drawback for this one. even with all these this has been my daily runner for almost 2 years and still going strong.

A perfect size for my desk and fits well as my main monitor of my 3 monitor set up. It has a crystal clear picture and has made multitasking much easier due to the space. The screen splitting software is amazing. To have two screens up at once , gives me the options to have fewer monitors or no minimized windows. It is beautiful and seamless. I love having one half the screen as a game and the other half as social media or even the current sports event up. It is perfect for gaming, providing for more life like action than ever before. I was very easy to set up. All the buttons are easy to access and well hidden so nothing takes away from the beauty of the screen. A must have for a novice computer user all the way to an extreme gamer.

Only after using it for about 15 minutes, I realized that this is going to work out great! The 34" monitor looks great and has a great aesthetic appeal in my office. The ability to have split screen and windows stacked clearly has helped me manage all the tasks that I am trying to complete. This was great for Oulook/Email, Web Browsers, Excel, CRM and other line of business applications. The PIP (Picture in Picture) was easy to setup and use. Couple clicks and I was ready to rock and roll. My mom could even do it. I would highly recommend this monitor to someone that needs something like this. I won't mind doing work at home as much now! P.S. - This also looks a lot nicer in my office, which keeps my wife happy.

Using it for a couple of weeks and am generally happy. This, however, is not a screen for everyone. This is a great screen with an unthoughtful base design. If you are a gamer you may find it limiting or if a movie buff the aspect ratio may even seem awkward. But for casual users and developers, this is a great screen. Its unassuming profile sits well on any desk and the ultra-wide aspect and WQHD resolution are very helpful.

I've always bought really cheap monitors, so this was a splurge meant to get rid of 3 lame monitors, each connected to different machines. I use an application called ShareMouse to seemlessly go to each different computer on the same mouse and keyboard. I was hoping that would carry over with the PiP functionality with the SJ55W, but it doesn't work at all. It doesn't even work when I switch the inputs to the other machines. That isn't the fault of the monitor and I may have still bought this model even without it, but it looks like PiP is mostly passive, allowing you to watch content on that computer but nothing else. I did dig out an old KVM switch and now I've got good functionality. If I had any complaints, it's that I'd like to see an application to switch inputs rather than the 4 way button on the back. But as far as monitor buttons go, it's pretty good.

The issues I have with it is that it constantly loses connection on the source and I need to disconnect the power source and replug it for the monitor to be functional again. It typically happens two to three times a day. I've tried replacing the HDMI core as well as the power ac adapter and no improvements.

However I do not like all the settings being linked to one button you have to toggle with to change view nor do I like that its weight makes it hard to find a desk arm that works for it. Screen resolution and refresh rate a adequate for office and day to day work, but not for serious gaming. It would have been nice to have some flex in the stand to adjust vertical angle for the monitor. Depending on the desktop setup, the monitor screen does feel like as if it is slightly tilted forward. Otherwise it is a good monitor.

i used it with the xbox series x and ps5; i would suggest only using it for the series x as the ps5 only supports 1080p and 4k. good display if you are a player looking for accurate colors, ray tracing, or high quality gaming. for 120fps gaming, i would look elsewhere; however, keep in mind with 120fps gaming, you are sacrificing quality. samsung could have added hdr but chose not to.

Very good monitor colors are great... only issue is the audio... I knew this monitor didn't have internal speakers, but I has going to use the aux jack in the back of this monitor with some headphones... audio quality from this port is terrible... not sure if it's a driver issue or it's just not meant to work with my headphones... everything else from this monitor is great

had issues with my monitor the very first day it was continuously restarting on its own then it started doing little shadow boxes and then while it was plugged to my pc it even had my pc acting up freezing it up and when i unplug the monitor it would be perfectly fine. samsung did exchange but i wish i would of never wasted my money and time with this particular model

This monitor has a crystal clear 3440 x 1440 resolution and the ability to connect using Display port or HDMI. I current connect using the Display port which allows me to connect a second monitor using the HDMI port. The screen split allows be to dedicate two screens on this monitor at the same time. This is great for programming an web design. Now I can have a screen for edits and one to view output. This is also helpful for spreadsheets and other work related tasks. Screen is so clear, I have also used this monitor to stream Hulu and Amazon movies. This would be convenient for small spaces like a dorm room. The setup was easy. Only took a few minute from box to ready to use. Laptop located and automatically installed the correct drivers. No searching and no need for CDs. Thinking about picking up a second one for my home office.

fantastic once i got it set up. a challenge with getting the sound to go through the monitor's sound port. problem wasn't with the monitor but the output settings on the pc. samsung help solved the issue. about the monitor: fantastic picture, great size (and now that i've spent an hour with the little touch wheel on the back, lots of customization of picture.

I found it ample for multitasking and gaming. My one problem with this monitor was how the power cord plugged into the monitor. It is a very odd connection that will easily come out if not placed just right. Never did figure out the trick to it.

This obviously such a good value for a quality 21:9 display I don’t see what’s to complain about, unless they have a fault. I notice 2 of the negative reviews mention things to which I can respond: 1: The point made about the power cable falling out: at first I thought exactly the same thing but realised that you actually have to give an extra bit of force plugging it in and then a definate click occurs and it latches in securely. It has never fallen out. 2: the criticism that the monitor - when used higher up a wall above another monitor - loses colour etc. I have mine setup the same with two 21:9 monitors stacked vertically (in landscape mode!) and have not found the colour change so bad. I think it’s fair to expect the display to not be viewed at an angle from considerably lower position at close distances in video or music editing etc taking into account the good value of the product. However I agree the tilt is limited.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SJ55W easily replaced my previous two monitor setup. The ultrawide aspect ratio gave more than enough real estate for multiple applications. This monitor truly was made for multitasking. Image quality was excellent as well; near-IPS color reproduction and wide viewing angles. I was actually pretty impressed with the picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture feature. I have a 2nd computer connected to the second hdmi port on the monitor and I am able to quickly switch to that second source and even display both at the same time. It would be even better if there was a keyboard shortcut to switch inputs, but it still works pretty seemlessly. Pros: Screen real estate, picture quality, unique features such as PIP and PBP, AMD freesync Cons: Cost (although not too bad when you consider it replaces 2 monitors), activating PIP and PBP could be a little easier Take home - a beautiful-looking multitasking monitor with a brilliant picture.

This monitor will go to sleep and not wake up or momentarily go black only to reconnect. Do yourself a favor and dont buy this monitor. Bad quality. The colours of the monitor are not really intensive. The contrast is quite bad. I was sitting 10 minutes in front of the screen and I have had to stop working since my eyes were tired. In addition, the foot of the screen is not really very solid. My screen was not really horizontal.

Just bought this monitor after having a 1080p 29" LG ultrawide. All I gotta say is, the down tilt angle is garbage and horrible for setups with raised monitors, Sitting dead center of the monitor and about 2/3rds of the rest of the monitor is just washed out white

Everything is ready to go,right out of the box. I went from having two monitors to One, and I don’t miss a thing. I work with different databases and the screen split option is perfect and functional. I can also view more of the documents I’m working on without zooming in and out. The design Of the monitor is nice and sleek. The stand doesn’t take up a whole lot of space on my desk and I'm so grateful I no longer have a bunch of ugly cables draping across my desk. The monitors menu (JOG button) is easy to navigate, easy to reach and is also where you’ll find the eye saver settings which I highly recommend. Low blue light settings means no more ugly blue blocking glasses &amp; No more daily headaches after working on my computer for several hours. Everyone who has walked into my office compliments the beauty and spectacular screen display this monitor gives. Highly recommend. see the before &amp; after below

Monitor itself is fine. Monitor stand is terrible - no pivot capability in any direction. Strongly Suggest they sell an alternative stand - charge more for it - fine. The base stand is so incredibly basic. Very stable. There, said something positive.

This monitor failed immediately. Working through the (long) process to get it replaced now, and this will likely be my last Samsung monitor purchase. Screen was OK, didn't like the external power brick, and never really got to use it to test features.

it has a sharp picture with many options. i mounted mine on a floor stand in front of my desk instead of using the stand that came with it. i use it at 3440x1440 and set the win10 display zoom to %150. i have an rx 590 fatboy graphics card.

I had many issues with the power cord. Support had me send it in and determined the power cord was the issue. It has been running great since getting it back. They could have shipped it faster but I'm just happy to have it back for work.

My old monitor developed a large line right down the center of the screen, so I was in the market for a new monitor!! I knew I wanted a larger monitor. I figured if I'll invest in a new monitor, I should find one that is much larger. I wasn't aware of the Ultrawide monitor category, and took a look at a few of the options out there. I decided upon the Samsung QHD Ultra Wide monitor for a few reasons. With this monitor I can use two HDMI cables and connect to my laptop and get rid of both of my old monitors. The resolution is stunning and there's no sacrifice on quality when I'm using a dual screen setup. As you can see in the photos, I'm multitasking by streaming on one screen and browsing on the right side of the screen! The Picture By Picture is perfect for my needs and at 34" I don't need to zoom in on emails or other text documents. Well worth the price and I'll have the Samsung QHD Ultra Wide for a number of years! Glad I made the investment and the monitor is an excellent balance of performance, quality, resolution and price!! Great work Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor for watching and streaming movies and for gaming mostly. I also do some light video and photo editing. The colors and brightness of the monitor are beautiful. However, after about a year, I began to notice some real problems. For instance, the monitor randomly goes black for a few seconds and then turns back on. This happens multiple times through the day, usually when I am just browsing the internet, or using applications. It doesn't seem to happen while gaming though. After about two years, the monitor was "ultra bright" as if the gamma or contrast was turned way up. I tried to turn it off and back on, but the power button would not work at all. After unplugging the power and plugging it back in, there were several vertical lines through the monitor that resemble dead pixels. This doesn't make the monitor totally unusable, but it is still a very distracting sight. While I love the ultrawide aspect ratio, these problems have had such an effect, that I ultimately wish I had not purchased this monitor. Unfortunately, all these problems started to happen after it was out of warranty, so there was little I could do except put up with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At work I use multiple monitors, which works well overall, but the split in between and the multiple stands makes it a good, but not ideal option. This monitor works very well for multitasking as it's essentially the size of two monitors placed side-by-side, but offers significant advantages such as having a single stand and having no gap in between. I can comfortably use two programs side by side, which significantly improves my efficiency. I regularly use Excel, PowerPoint, Word and web browsers side by side for both work and school. In all cases I have used Windows built in features to anchor programs to one side of the screen or the other, but I know that when I have more advanced use cases I'll be able to use the built in split screen and Picture in Picture modes. The monitor is easy to set up, looks gorgeous with good color reproduction and a high resolution (3440x1440 resolution) and has a good menu system. The menu is controlled using a small joystick in the back. It takes a few minutes to get used to using, but then is much more intuitive and effective than other menu systems I have used in the past. I recommend the monitor for those who want or need the extra space.
