Galaxy Tab S5e FAQ (Hong-Kong version)

Last Update date : Nov 23. 2020
What is Wi-Fi performance of Galaxy Tab S5e when Holding by Hand?

If you hold the specific area where the Wi-Fi antenna is located by hand, the Wi-Fi communication performance can be affected.
However, this is also similar to other products and devices that support general Wi-Fi communication.

If the Wi-Fi signal is strong, holding the antenna part by hand does not significantly affect the antenna performance, but if the Wi-Fi signal is low, e.g. inner of the house, far locations from the Wi-Fi AP, covering the antenna part may affect the signal performance, and it may result in a loss of Wi-Fi communication.

In this case, if your Wi-Fi AP at home supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, it is recommended that you make both available.

Please register all 2.4GHz and 5GHz APs in the available network lists and turn on the 'Auto reconnect' option.
※ Wi-Fi > Available networks > Select target AP > Turn on the Auto reconnect

Additionally, Samsung is scheduled to release new software with improved Wi-Fi performance for Galaxy Tab S5e. Therefore, please check for updates for your device software regularly via FOTA or Smart Switch PC.
Samsung encourages users to keep your software and apps updated to the latest version.

What is Special about Edges of Galaxy Tab S5e device?

The edges of the device may appear slightly bumpy by screws tightened to firmly assemble the connected parts of the device.

All Samsung smartphones undergo rigorous internal inspection test and are always being controlled under Samsung’s high level of quality standards internally and these do not affect the quality of the device performance or functions.

If you encounter a suspected issue about this, please visit an Authorized Samsung Service Center and check whether you are eligible for warranty or not.
