I'm Old, so I hate new technology, however the Tab S6 lite is so easy to use even for me. I still have so much to learn about this compact unit. It has it's own help pages but, there are so many You Tube videos to help you should you not understand anything. Basically, You can't go wrong with it. For me, It's a phone and a PC all built into one unit. I love it.

2 year review - I was sick of apple iPads becoming non usable after their updates over a few years. I decided to move to android. Initially, I was really impressed. It did take some getting used to from apple, android is less sleek but has more apps and just as much functionality. It came with a stylus and I have gotten hours and hours of drawing. The sound and colours are good, it is small so fits easily in my bag I've watched all the streaming platforms on it. It has normal headphones port and USB c. Cons, it has had since I purchased it bugs, it resets itself fairly frequently. You check it needs updating and it's upto date. You are sat surfing the net, next thing it's reset itself. I thought this was a one off but it has got progressively worse. I would say in year one maybe once every 3 months. Year 2 once every time I turn it on. Its a real shame that tech doesn't last. Consumerism, the answer is, oh it's due an upgrade after two years so just get a new one.... No thanks. Make devices have a longer life span and get rid of the bugs!

I no longer have an S6 Lite as I have traded it in for an S9 tablet. I didn't like the S6 screen after having an S5 oled display. S9 screen is far superior.

The tablet is a nice tablet. The design is very pretty,and it offers a lot of convenient features,especially with the s pen. However, these features don't reach their full potential due to the bad performance. The split screen feature always has a late start due to lag,and the writing to font feature doesn't tend to work well on third party apps,compared to native samsung apps. Overall, good enough for the price,but if you want a device that will last you fpr a long time. I would not recommend.

i bought this based on the reviews and assurances from Samsung that it was much better than my tab A that it was replacing. However it is much slower to charge and start. Plus I need to have the brightness quite high to get a decent display. Also despite the manual saying you switch it off with the top left button , you have to press this and the volume down button to switch off. I would not recommend.

I chose the Galaxy Tab because I already had a Galaxy phone. It was very easy to pair the devices and I love that the Tab has the same layout, apps etc and is used in a similar way to the phone. I use it a lot for watching TV and films, and the picture and sound are great. I haven't succeeded in making face recognition work. There are more functions to explore, and I look forward to doing so.

I love it and am exploring the art possibilities. The screen is sharp the pen is so good. My single issue is that I automatically received notifications from GB news and the only way to stop this is to stop Google notifications. I do not want to receive anything at all from this sources as I find their view of the world to be toxic. It is wrong to push this onto anyone.

The size and weight are very good. It has a lovely colourful screen and the software is fairly easy to use. A little more power would have been better as my device judders in animations when going from the app to the home screen. I turned on button navigation and it is much improved.

The stylus is the main reason I bought this tablet and i love the fact that the pen is ready to go, no need to charge or check it. I do wish that the second screen functionality was enabled as it used to work (via a hack) so the hardware is capable but has been disabled

Really good when purchased a few weeks ago. However it has just had the latest update and now it is dreadful. Games freeze halfway through and it has became clunky to use. I hope this is a temporary problem and an update will solve it. Overall very disappointed.

Coming from ipad mini, I love this S6 lite. It does all I want, not a gamer, needed it for Internet, Y Tube, Spotify (sounds great from usb c port to my headphone amp), better than phone, Kindle books, Facebook, Messenger and various other apps.

Still cannot download photos from sd card to the Tab. Have requested info, but nobody replied , simple on an ipad , load sd into card reader , plug in , photos transferred but for some reason I cannot do this on a Galaxy Tab otherwise tablet OK.

Battery life good, pity the cast ability is no longer there. Using the pen can be frustrating when trying to close a page as it brings up the pen menu instead! Low memory warning as soon as 2 apps are running suggests a need for more memory.

It's a decent product. Works how I expected it to work. The tip of the pen can start to nib away when you use it. It's been like a month since I had it and its starting to tear away . But that's because of how much I'm using it

When using the tablet it is very slow, touch screen takes few moments to register, closing apps is very slow which is quite frustrating, I don’t have many apps open or anything in background that can slow it down.

Its actually really useful but unfortunately its been chugging. It lags when trying to log in, sometimes while playing video playback, but after a while it sorts itself out. I do like it though!

While you would be unable to connect the Tab S6 Lite to a larger screen via HDMI, the good news is that you are still able to connect to compatible larger screens via Smart View. To do this simply swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Smart View icon. From here simply select any compatible devices that appear in the list. Good tablet but when I downloaded draw on screen it always crashes so please fix this
