How to get your mobile device repaired

Before you can book a repair, you will need to complete some troubleshooting on your device to see if we can resolve your issue remotely.

If your device needs to be repaired there are a few different options that you can choose between.

Once your repair has been booked, you will need to get your device ready for the repair. There are three things that you need to do before your device can be repaired:

1 Back up your data
2 Remove your Samsung and Google accounts
3 Remove any accessories unrelated to your issue

How to back up the data on your device

There are a few different ways that you can back up the data on your device. Using your Google or Samsung account, an SD card, or using Samsung Smart Switch. Find out more about backing up your data.

How to remove your Samsung and Google accounts

For repairs to be made on your device, your Samsung and Google accounts must be removed. We cannot perform a repair if these accounts are still on your device. Find out more about removing your accounts.

Remove your accessories

If your accessories are unrelated to your repair then they should be removed, for example any phone cases or headphones.
