Samsung galaxy a35 5g is an affordable and excellent phone. I have been using it for over 6 months now and Im completely satisfied. I travelled 8 countries and over 14 cities as a tourist during this time and I have this phone and an iPhone 17 promax. Only the camera of iPhone is better than this Samsung when you use as medium expert level. A35 screen resolution nice and soothing. Durability excellent, I dropped this phone at least 5 times but there is no sracth not a single one. Even Without cleaning it still looks shining. Only one thing I couldnt find its eSim compatibility all though its says in Google. There is no option of eSim i found in this mobile.

Unhappy with the length of time the phone takes to charge. The swipe on the screen is hit and miss. I have lost a few calls as the swipe would not work to connect to the caller, so I had to call them back. And also the swipe to unlock the screen doesn't always work. The finger print unlock option also again is hit and miss, you have to get the exact same part of the finger in the exact same finger position, or it doesn't unlock the screen. Finally, disappointed you don't get a USB charging cable with the phone as you are more likely to use a normal electric socket or USB port to charge your phone. At this price, you shouldn't have to buy accessories just to charge your phone up.

I have had Samsung phone before and I really like them because they are easy to use I bought a Motorola phone and it was rubbish that's why I came back to Samsung because I no what I am doing with a Samsung the only fault is I think it's a bit heavy to carry around as I'm getting on in age so I would love for it to be a little lighter

It's far better than the old one as the screen had an interference. And couldn't get it put right when I asked Tesco's mobile. They said I had to return it to you, which I find ridiculous as I need it each day, especially banking and emails.

I love my galaxy A35 5G! I managed to get quite a few years out of my old Galaxy S9 which made my decision to get another Galaxy so easy. What I like is that you haven't changed the operating system so it was easy to get my head around it, it's a lot faster than I was expecting, camera is brilliant and using it as the screen for my drone, charging time is impressive, the only one thing I'm a bit disappointed with is that I can't pair my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier with it because the watch is an older model and I can't afford to get a newer watch leaving the S3 unusable

An absolutely incredible piece of kit, this isn't just a phone, this is an all singing, all dancing bleeding edge device that's got the potential to seamlessly connect you to the repository of all human knowledge, whether your using txt, voice or visual forms of communication. It's connectivity married up with its performance knocks your socks off and it's becoming clearer that the only weakness this device has is me :-) I've dropped this a few times already and its still going strong so it certainly ticks the durability box. The camera is incredible, and combined with AI and video modes makes it mind boggling. The only functions its missing are a phaser and tricorder :-) and on that note I'd better beam back up to the enterprise

I love my samsung A35 It looks so stylish in ice blue and the screen display is awesome Transferring my data from my old phone was quick and simple I notice the faster app response time from my A32 and tge higher internal storage I really needed The camera is excellent with good choices from the 3 lenses I've taken beautiful portraits and super videos The sound too is really good Gemini is installed and I'm slowly getting used to talking to my Ai assistant I'm actually excited by my new A35 and there is so much more to find out about its capabilities

I love my new Galaxy A35 - it's my best buddy and its performance is exemplary! It has everything my old mobile had and more. I deliberately chose a phone similar to my old Samsung A70 as being a senior, I didn't want to have to relearn procedures. I use it all the time, while watching TV mostly, so its just as well it doesn't have to be recharged till the end of the day. Display is clear, camera is excellent and my favourites are googling words I need,YouTube, google maps (as I have no sense of direction) emails and WhatsApp.

It's a good phone that serves its purpose, but I definitely prefer my old Google pixel 6. It's often very glitchy, the cameras not as good as on my old phone, and sometimes when I take it out my pocket after a short while I'll have had about 20 failed fingerprint/password inputs, temporarily locking me out. I've been through settings to try to customise some of the settings but it's not done much. It's possible these are solvable issues/not the phones fault, but it would be good if the automated settings reduced these things.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 is a nice phone, but it didn't come with a plug and trying to find a USB C to USB C plug has proved to be a bit of a nightmare. I've found one for a number of phones including the Samsung Galaxy A35, but it's not an official Samsung charger. I think all phones should should come with plugs, whether your buying them outright or getting them on contracts. There's also no headphone jack, which is also annoying. However the size of the screen is rather good and the sound from the speakers is amazing.

Great phone from a hardware point of view, but why oh why do Samsung insist on trying to get you to use their pointless, useless, and annoying alternatives to perfectly good standard Google apps (Contacts, Calendar, Messages, etc.), and their own account for everything instead of Google? It's *possible* to avoid using their account and useless alternatives, but it's a real faff and a right pain in the backside. I wouldn't mind if it was offered as an *option* that you could easily opt out of during setup, but trying to force it on people can easily put a lot of customers off. This has certainly been the case for me. My phone is now working well without any access to my Samsung account and standard Google apps but the amount of effort involved means that I doubt I'll ever buy another Samsung phone or tablet again...

The fact that someone is able to use Google aswell as complemented by further but different applications such as Gemini, copilot, aswell as other apps and assistants someone downloads theirselves, is amazing. The ease of use of the phone in general is good. The only downside was I had to download knox security myself as opposed to expecting it already on phone, which if it is as secure as it says, is another invaluable application. Overall I love this phone

My 'old' phone was a Samsung Galaxy J4+ and I was very happy with it. My daughter's last upgrade was to an A22 which she loves so I knew that the A35 would be a great next phone. The phone itself is so fast to respond, the screen is clear, the case colour selections are gorgeous and it's extremely comfortable to hold even though it's probably larger than older models. I also read a review that said the A35 is more comfortable than the A55, good to know.

Took me a while to get round to looking at Samsung smartphones but my wife needed a replacement phone fast and she went for a very reasonably priced one. I liked it and so for my next phone I chose a similar one - the Galaxy A35 5G. I am very impressed with it so far. The options re the camera are, to me anyway, very impressive. Overall, I think it is an excellent, quality phone for the price. I doubt I'd look elsewhere for phones from now on.

I do not like the fiddly way in which the device has to be switched off by trying to press 2 buttons simultaneously as it doesn't always work. Likewise what is the point of having to enter your pin when shutting down? Obviously you have to use the pin for access but to switch seems a daft idea. Also even with the volume at maximum it is difficult to hear some callers so have to use the speaker.
I needed a second phone which did not need to be a flagship with all the bells and whistles. So I went for the A35, it is a great phone. The screen is as good as many more expensive phones and it doesn't struggle running the day to day apps I use. The Samsung case I bought also fits great and people have complimented the look of the phone + case thinking it was a much more expensive device.

It must all my whatsapp communication and Hotmail correspondence when using the recommended by Samsung 'Smartswitch' app which promised to transfer easily all of your information and apps from your old device. Two days later the phone was hacked and I was sent threatening messages. I got my wife the same phone for Christmas and she will not use it after knowing of my terrible experience.
It's a great phone. It charges fast and battery life is excellent. The screen is bright and very responsive, even with a screen protector on. The processor is also very fast so no lag from the touchscreen and boots fast after shutdown. The camera produces clear photos. It handles calls perfectly. I thought my old Galaxy A14 was good but this A35 is a cut above. I recommend it highly.

''Disappointed with the battery life. Sure, it charges very quickly but, I find it doesn't last. Nothing like advertised anyway. The raised part of the case on the side is driving me nuts! It is exactly where the on/off switch was on my previous Samsung so, every time you have to navigate away from it to get to the button above. On the plus side, the camera is ok, as is the screen.

Was worried when I got the new phone, but I loved the ease of transferring everything I needed for my old Honor phone. The speed of charging (and life) of the battery is very good and the ease of customising and then using the A35 for. Very happy with my new phone. It's beautiful and very functional. I would highly recommend 👌 Disadvantages: I didn't get a charger plug with it and I don't have any USB c plugs at home. The Samsung A35 is a great phone for the price I paid. It's fast and responsive, the screen is clear, even outside in the sun, and you can adjust the brightness easily. The battery seems to last well. I don't have as many Bluetooth connection problems as I did with my old phone. I love the picture search feature and the fact that you can improve your photos.
A nice phone, good camera anx I like like the automatically adjusting screen display according to different light conditions, so makes it easier to see in bright sun light. The only negative as in all Samsung phones is the screen shot process, having to press the power button and volume button at the same time is cumbersome, after takes several attempts.

The display is great, the connectivity is fine. The camera is what I expected not quite up to the Galaxy standards but still soem good image have been produced. It has a good battery life and at the end of each day still has plenty of battery life left in it. Performance is good quick enough for me anyway. It was a reasonable price and so meets my needs.

I bought this Galaxy A35 5G phone following issue of an A34 by my employer in July, expecting that the A35 battery life would be as phenomenal. However, I am disappointed as my phone needs charging almost every other day even with very little us. I have deleted virtually all of my Apps and used the battery optimiser functions, with little improvement.
We pride ourselves on creating products that please and delight and we regret to see this has not been the case on this occasion, Martin. I've had my Galaxy A35 for less than 2 months now and the screen cracked today while it was in my pocket. I've a screen protector on my phone and a silicon phone cover and now the display is completely blank, displaying nothing so I can no longer access any apps etc on my phone. I'm very disappointed! The screen is obviously very poor quality!

It a good upgrade, I can now play the most demanding of mobile games fairly easily and the customization is endless (as android usually is). However, the battery drains much quicker than what it says it is. It says it will last two days but I have never had it last longer than 5 hours without charging (this is without power saving mode).

Overall I'm enjoying using my new phone - it looks and feels slick, easy to move between apps and functions well and I'm grateful for the level of personalisation (app icons etc). However, some basic floors include a very bad autocorrect, and having chosen it for its great camera, I don't know if my photos are noticeably better quality.

Cannot add another email to my gmail. I have 2 different email addresses which are fine on my laptop, one is accessible through the gmail account on my phone , but I cannot add the other one that I really need to access by phone. I have tried the advice offered by some you tube tutorials without success? Any further advice please.
Good screen, touch screen a bit sensitive and don't like having to open a new tag every time I move through a Google search. Upgraded from hauwei pro ,which was older and at present feel was a better phone. Restart to use optismer is fiddly having to you two buttons to turn off rather than just optism from app Storage seems less

An Android user for yonks, I got used to this phone very quicky, and pretty much had the same layout on it as I did on my 7 year old Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact via Microsoft Launcher in a matter of minutes. Also the Samsung app Smart Switch to transfer info from the old phone was excellent. Once set up, the A35 is a phenomenal phone. Gorgeous screen, great build quality, with quality glass front and back. 256GB is a dream after my old phone's 32GB, plus it has double the ram at 8GB. It multitasks with aplomb. The camera is phenomenal, with a wealth of tweaks and features, including a massive 50MP settings. As to cable only charging, it seems plenty fast to me with a 17W charger, and after a couple of days' use the battery life looks very promising. I also love the option to limit charging to 80%. Great 5G coverage, solid Bluetooth even on listening to Galaxy FE buds in town amongst a multitude of other Bluetooth users. A very happy camper with this purchase.

Nothing positive to say. The phone is rubbish. I had to go back to my old phone after 4 days. The hands free in the car doesn't work, 365/ Outlook doesn't work, passwords are not retained, texts are not sent, my bank app doesn't work. I now have a phone I need to get rid of....but who would want to buy it when it doesn't work.

Very disappointed in the battery life of my phone. I bought this phone as my daughter has it and liked it. I use my phone far less than she does, I just use it for contacts and some browsing yet I have to charge it every 2/3 days. My daughter charges her phone once a week with more usage than me. I'm getting very frustrated with this phone as every time I close the phone, it goes opens up something random e.g. starts replying to an email or opens up google maps in Iceland. When taking photos, I've had no end of video clips from the inside of my pocket! I've googled for solutions but nothing has worked. I miss my A51.

Like my phone but don't really like the cursor bar at the bottom of my mobile it's so so awkward the old style two cursor bars one at the right and 0ne at the left was better. Yes I do like my mobile and I like my Google especially looking up about my illness and history and what's happening and the goings of the world .

I love the size of my new phone, my previous phone was too large. The screen is clear and sharp for viewing. The camera is good and all the apps I use work well. It's easy to use and I now use finger print security which I never had before. I listen to audio books in my phone and the sound is good. A good all round phone.

I have a couple of issues. One is that the screen keeps jumping back to apps previously used. Secondly the voice assistant keeps coming onto the screen totally unrequested and prevents the typing I was already doing until I clear it and this keeps happening. Very annoying. How do I stop these things happening?

As for Bixby, it will either be triggered by a Voice wake-up or the Side button. You can turn off Voice wake-up in Settings > Advanced features > Bixby > Voice wake-up > Turn the switch off. Previous device was an s21-fe which I feel was vastly more superior. The display on the new a35 is much darker, and I've already noticed that it struggles to keep up with what I ask of it. I have at least 2 apps that I keep force stopping because they fo not always respond. So Overall I have been down graded.

It's quick, very well built, fits in my hand nicely and the screen is high quality too, has a very good camera and the 5G on it is very quick, has a good amount of RAM for handheld gaming for when I'm on trips and has a good battery life, overall a very good phone, would buy for a family member or a friend.

So far I have found that it has been working fast, somtimes taking a bit longer to open some apps but it's not much of a problem. I have the found that the battery is running out a bit quicker than usual, which I deleted some apps to try and sort it out. Overall the phone is good and is what I expected.

Whilst this is a wonderful phone, the time it takes to charge the battery, is just too long, the display is high quality, the performance is good, the camera is amazing, and the connectivity is brilliant. But the only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the amount of time it takes to charge.

Has everything I need and more. Camera is great and functionality is exellent. Easy to use and performs much better than my previous phone. Battery charges quickly and holds charge for a long time so can go for two days or more without charging. Memory and storage more than adequate.

It's very easy to use, the menu is simple and the screen is clear, but I do find that the phone freezers from time to time and it sometimes very slow to load, losing network connection can be a pain too but overall it's OK, would go back to S series just better in every way

Bought to replace the A5 which was great, but was getting incompatible with new app updates. I find this new phone very clunky. It's heavy, and too large to fit in any pockets. Switching on and off is very fiddly, so I generally end up asking the assistant to switch off.

I am unable to.disable google assistant, and it keeps popping up. So annoyed I am considering an I phone. Too many apparently helpful features like these. And none of the four box choices at bottom describes me at all! Yet still have to fill them in. Nightmare. Kafkaesque

I am thrilled with my new phone. There is one small issue that I find a bit awkward. It's having to turn my phone off using the on/off button along with the volume down button the same time. I had to go into the store to find out how to turn it off. Everything great.

Myself and two friends bought this model at the same time. We are all experiencing problems with calls cutting off pretty soon after answering. We are having to hold the phone away from us so that we don't touch the screen. Help would be appreciated as it is annoying

The phone charges really quickly and holds charge for a long time. The memory size is really good for the price. User interface is very easy to use and I like it. Sometimes it can be a little slow. I don't really take photographs so I can't comment on that feature.

I bought the A35 because my old phones battery wasn't lasting very long, always bought Samsung, I love the phone except the battery isn't as good as I'd hoped, I'm needing to charge it during the day as it gets low! Great phone just needs a better battery life.
I am really really disappointed..the store officials told me while i was purchasing the phone that i can claim a fit watch..but later denied stating that it should have been purchased a certain time a ago..but i clearly remember they told me when i bought it
I've always been samsung fan only ever had 1 other samsung A as I much prefer the galaxy S range. This new A35 is bit over complicated and the screen is far to sensitive, you can't scroll past things without everything you touch loading up ie websites etc

I love my new phone, the camera is really good, the battery seems to run down quickly though which I didn't expect. The connectivity is a bit hit and miss depending on where I am, but overall I'm really pleased. The screen is clear and easy to navigate.

Phone is a replacement for a m31s dual sim. I purchased the a35 as a dual sim phone BUT while it may may have space for a dual sim, the second space is either the end sim OR a micro sd card. As I use the sd slot the phone is not what was advertised

Overall a good quality phone with good features and excellent camara function. My only problem is does not support my GEAR S3 watch which I only found out about after having the phone for 3 weeks having not required to use any watch functions.

the phone is ok, but a key app which I use for work is not compatible, so it has caused me a huge problem. It's disappointing that I couldn't find that out before I took out the contract. I'm stuck with it now until I can afford to change it.

The phone is great, I haven't used the cameras a great deal, but the battery life and data speeds are impressive. The screen is a good size to watch basic programs on (I didn't want a huge phone) and the music playback, speaker is very clear.

The colour is pretty that's all I can say, the phone is slow, it has massive typing delay. Slow opening up Internet tabs and videos. I was told this phone had great spec but my Huwai was quicker. Camera quality is rubbish. Regret thr purchase

Got a new phone as my old Samsung was 4years old and battery wasn't lasting. Really disappointed in my new A35, the battery is just as bad as my old phone. I have to charge my new phone everyday around 6pm (phone only used for social media).

Snappy performance, great pictures, vibrant screen, tons of storage plus up to 1TB micro sd card. 5G works well, plus solid Bluetooth performance. Fingerprint sensor very responsive. Premium looks make it look much more expensive than it is.

I'm having quite a lot of trouble with getting it all set up properly and can't change passwords for security as I can't remember them! Also having trouble locking the wallet feature and to get it somewhere accessible for use.

Not a lot really. Predictive text is terrible. Enters words that not wanting. Can't see messages on front screen as they arrive like I did with my previous phone. Ringtone options are very limited especially for text and WhatsApp.

Good battery life, not used the Camera much, connects well and now I have got the display set up its all good. The performance is OK but hade a problem with my Leeds United application but it seems to have sorted its self out now.

Really happy with the phone, only downfall is the battery life, I do get a day out of it normally, but with use it doesn't get thru the day, but overall it's a great phone and a very good cost. No need to spend a grand on a phone.

The charger port constantly says it's got moisture in, and regularly doesn't charge or I have to turn it off to charge. it also is very slow at touch responsiveness the first 5-10 minutes later after I've switched it back on.

I've had my A35 about 2 month now and very pleased. The battery lasts just about 2 days which is a definite improvement on my old A52s. Display is excellent and the camera is very good. All in all, nothing to complain about!

The Samsung A35 is great, the camera is better than my last phone, but very disappointed that I can't put 2 sims and my memory card in it, like I could with my previous Samsung phone, and doesn't hold it's charge as long

Not a great phone. The battery doesn't last a day, having to top up every evening, the connection to both Internet and phone provider is not as good as previous Samsung I had. I'm not impressed with this version at all.
I love the size I love how easy accessable every thing is. I love the sound quality. And the photo quality. The shape and the colour. I do not like the amount of time it takes to charge and no charger wire included.
