What to do if a 2.5
A 3.5" external-type USB HDD is properly recognized when it is connected, because an additional stable power (220V) is supplied, while a 2.5" HDD may not be recognized when it is connected if the power of the USB port is insufficient, as a 2.5" HDD is designed to use only the power from the USB port.
Due to this problem, 2.5" external-type USB HDD manufacturers sell adapters (or double USB cable / Y-USB cable) for the additional stable power supplies to the HDDs. This problem will be resolved if you purchase an adapter and supply stable power to the HDD.
