What are the 'Usage Tips' of Microwave Oven?
● Due to friction of the food molecules, heat is generated within the food substance. The moisture content gets vaporized due to this heat and there is pressure build up within the confines of the skin in the food substance. Therefore, we should puncture vegetable skin before subjecting it to microwave heat as it allows to release this pressure.
● We cannot perform deep frying in Microwave as the temperature of oil cannot be controlled and it will catch fire after reaching the flash point.
● When baking,frying or poaching eggs, the yolk may pop due to steam build up inside yolk membrane.To prevent this, simply pierce the yolk before cooking. Never microwave eggs in the shell.
● If you feel the Microwave Oven is not cooking as fast as indicated in the cooking guide kindly check your cooking guide again, to make sure you’ve followed directions exactly; and to see what might cause variations in cooking time.Variations in the size, shape and weights and dimensions could require longer cooking time. Use your own judgement along with the cooking guide suggestions to check whether the food has been properly cooked.
