How to transfer contacts from Phone to Memory Card in Galaxy S3(GT-I9300)?

The contacts on the Samsung Galaxy SIII can be transferred to the Memory Card and can be used on other supported phones.

The contacts can also be later used on the same phone in case of any loss of the contacts in the future.

Please follow the below steps for transferring the contacts to the memory card.  

a). Tap on the Contacts Icon on the Home Screen.

b). The contact screen will be displayed. 

c). Now while all your contacts are displayed , press the Menu Button  on the phone and tap on Import/Export option on the screen.

d). Tap on the option Export to SD Card as shown below.

e). Tap on OK when prompted to save the contacts as .vcf file in the memory card

f). The contacts will then be exported / copied as a file into the memory card shortly as listed below.

Once the contacts are exported to a file, you can transfer the file using bluetooth / email to any other phone which supports .vcf format and use the contacts. 

The contacts file can also be saved for future retreival on the same phone.
