How to connect DVD/Blu-Ray player using HDMI Cable
STEP 1. Indentifying HDMI Ports
Identify the Ports on TV & DVD / Blu Ray Player :
a. On the TV the HDMI ports are usually found on the back panel of the TV, & sometimes on the Left side of the TV as well.
Back Side & Side Panel Ports :
b. Ports on the DVD / Blu Ray Player : The HDMI Port is available on the back side of the DVD / Blu Ray Player.
STEP 2. Cables & Connections
a. An HDMI cable can be purchased as per the usage method specified below :
1. 1.3 version HDMI cable used for TV connections & 2 D images
2. 1.4 version HDMI cable to be used for 3 D images/content
HDMI Cable :
Connection Setup :
a. Switch OFF both TV & DVD / Blu Ray Player
b. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port in the TV & the other end on the HDMI port of the DVD / Blu Ray Player.
c. Power on both the TV & DVD / Blu Ray Player.
d. Press the Source Button on the TV's remote control, and select the HDMI input.
e. Once the HDMI input is selected, you are all set and can go ahead and watch your DVD / Blu Ray disc on your TV.
