What Optimum Screen Size Samsung TV should I buy?

Last Update Date : Jul 26. 2018

When selecting your Samsung device, consider which optimum screen size will give you the best image from your desired viewing poistion and the room which the TV will be placed in. At minimum, you should set your viewing distance at least three times your television's diagonal screen measurement and should not extend more than four times of the diagonal screen measurement.

 ( Optimum Screen Size )

Calculation Examples:

● Based on a 46 inch TV, the recommended distance from the TV is 15.33 Feets.

    46*4 = 184 Inches = 15.33 Feets.

● Based on a 40 inch TV, the recommended distance from the TV is 13.33 Feets.

    40*4 = 160 Inches = 13.33 Feets.

Below listed are the viewing distances for different sizes of TV's :

NOTE: Please make sure that you have the above specified viewing distance available before selecting the screen size for your TV.
