The contrast is good, and the TV responds quickly when using the apps and menus. The upscaling also makes regular HD content look better. The sound is clear for everyday watching. Overall, it’s a great TV for the price and I’m very satisfied with it.

The picture on the TV is overall outstanding, incredible fidelity and sharpness. I found the remote however to be a challenge to use with buttons having multi-functions that you only become aware of while using. I have a major complaint however with the TV's manual, if you want to call it that. Virtually no information or help is given beyond the initial set tp of the TV. i have had issues with the channel watched when turned off the night before not being on the next morning when turned back on. Almost always switches programs back to Samsung TV programming and nothing in the "manual" says what to do about it. I would give the TV a solid "A" but the maual a more than solid "D" and that's being kind. Along standing company such as Samsung can be better than this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is a bit larger than expected and is good! The remote is very tiny - exactly half the width of a regular cellphone. The picture is good and various aspects can be adjusted. Many channels and apps are available and you can set up other apps and favorite channels. Many steps can be involved and require some practice and patience to figure out how to work some buttons. It’s good to be able to quickly return to the immediate previous channel being watched and flip back and forth during commercials. It takes some trial and error to see the info/content of the channels. The sound is fine. The stand is easy to install and the tv is lightweight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we have 3 other Samsung TVs in the house and it's the only brand we'll buy. For this latest purchase in 2026. The good: excellent picture, great color, and brightness. Samsung plus streaming TV is the best with dozens of really great channels !! None are a big deal but the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. It's usually responsive to streaming commands, however occasionally seems to lag or get stuck on a menu. To solve, push and hold the power button for a few seconds, which reboots the TV and resolves. This particular TV came with the small minimal remote but prefer the old style remote with larger buttons, separate fast forward and rewind buttons, etc. Lastly, it's a couple inches thicker off the wall mount than our prior Samsung TV purchased back in 2021 but not a huge deal. Overall happy with the TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung - 55” Smart TV is a great upgrade from our old TV. We love how clear the picture is and how bright all the colors are. On some shows, the picture is so crisp and clear it looks as if we are actually on the set while the shows were filming. The smart TV aspect is great as well, we don’t need to use any additional devices in order to stream our shows. The set-up was pretty simple. We just had to create a Samsung account to be able to get the apps we wanted. We have never used a Samsung smart TV before, so learning their platform has taken some time to adapt to. Overall, we love the high-quality picture and the sound quality.

We were initially looking at a TLC with Roku because we've liked those in the past, but are really happy we went with a Samsung. The image is bright and clear and everything looks great, even older stuff. The remote is super responsive and the user interface is awesome. I love that I can use my Samsung Galaxy phone as an additional remote, which makes for a very convenient and comfortable experience. Plus, being a able to connect an Xbox controller to the TV via Bluetooth and play games without a dedicated console is amazing. Would definitely recommend this to others.

I bought this TV a couple of months ago to replace my old Samsung TV, which lasted almost 20 years! I’ve always found Samsung products to be very reliable, and most of the Samsung products I’ve owned have lasted well over 10 years, so I decided to stick with Samsung. I’m really happy with this TV. The picture quality is excellent, and I love having the Smart TV features. It also comes with a variety of Samsung channels with different programs to watch, which is a nice bonus. It was easy to set up and has been working great. I’m very happy with my purchase and, based on my past experience with Samsung, I’m hoping this TV will give me many years of use too!

Very happy with this TV so far. My old TV bit the dust after a long and happy 17 years. This one is a bit bigger. Wanted a larger screen due to eye/vision issues. The resolution is nice and the brightness is perfect. Contrast is good although I do feel it could be a bit crisper at times. I haven’t watched anything on it yet that would fully demonstrate its full HD capabilities Sound is good. The only thing I am not big on is the remote. It is difficult to read and the volume buttons can be a bit tricky. I tend to accidentally mute when I am trying to turn volume up or down. A minor thing overall. I would buy this TV again.

I love this tv so much, I purchased a second one. Picture is beautiful. Easy to set up, and add all of my streaming devices. You can add your security cameras to tv, smart lighting, appliances etc. it’s truly is a smart tv. The remote is a little blah. No lights to help navigate at nighttime but that is really the only complaint I have. It’s my new favorite thing!!

This is the television that I have been looking for! The color and clarity are perfect. The navigation to chosen sites is clear and easy to learn. Setup was done quickly. I had tried other TVs that were too difficult to operate for someone of my age. However, this one was the best choice.

Nice slim design. The color and clarity of the picture are stunning. It almost looks 3-D especially with nature shows or any programs with landscapes. Sound quality is clear and steady. I wish the controller that came with it was bigger for my old eyes and that the guide button was separate from from the channel button. I accidentally hit the guide a lot when I'm trying to change the channel. The same thing happens with the volume buttons. I accidentally hit the mute button when I'm trying to lower or raise the volume. But I can just get a differnt controller. Overall, my wife and eye are very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this tv for my husband, his tv went out and he knew he wanted a Samsung. We already have a larger Samsung tv that we love. This Tv has very easy set up, he had this going within 10 minutes. The remote has a Netflix and Prime button. We are not very tech savvy but you don’t need to be with this. There are only two things with this tv; it does not come with the place to connect headphones, so I had to buy him wireless ones and pair them. The other thing is since it’s in another room and facing opposite wall (open concept) when I turn up or turn off one tv, sometimes it does the same to the other. It’s still an overall great tv and I’m happy he’s enjoying it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] to start I use it it's very responsive very smooth very clean it gives great output the sound it sounds beautiful I can even hook up a surround sound speaker to it and it just it's perfect but when we go back to the basic speakers from the self sounds good it's nice crisp and clear brightness on the TV is absolutely perfect to go in and sometimes I'll mess with the settings and I've always thought that it's super clear and nice on just normal settings so I'd say the brightness is very good upscaling is very great not much to complain about there it's nice you know it fits just fine there's not much I can say about contrast I I've had no issues and I've had no complaints.

I gave the TV a four star because of the remote. Wanting to go to another channel that’s not in my favorites, you have to scroll, and if you’re not in close proximity to that channel number you have to scroll. Samsung …make it easy or bring back the numbers. I also miss the flip button, flip back to the channel you were just watching.

My husband and I like our TV a lot. The only issue we have is with the glitching of the streaming sometimes - like the screen will freeze up; other times it will reboot the streaming app. We think it’s the Spectrum app that’s the culprit. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated! 😊☺️

Setting up the TV is proving to be quite frustrating, even though I've been part of the Samsung ecosystem for almost 2 decades. I don't like the remote either; call me old fashioned, but I love remotes that still have numbers on them. Shipping was also confusing; thankfully got items on time, but shipping details did not match what was on Samsung website or app. I did appreciate that the TV was able to connect to my phone quickly; the Smart things aspect seems to be responsive as well.

The software on the television is a turtle in comparison to what I thought 2026 software would perform. Television offers many good games movies and applications but many can't perform under hardware specs , take multiple paid subscriptions, are not compatible but advertised, the controls feel manipulated beyond the basic haptics of a remote layout.. the television turns onto random things when powered on just depends on the day. Very strong internet connection but still choppy connection uncertain of issue Only one USB port and three HDMI ports. Give me more power and less waste.

My parents got the 65-inch one, so when i got my own place i knew which one too get, unfortunately my place is smaller I got the Samsung 43-inch Crystal UHD TV for uniformity sake. I got to say I was impressed. Most TVs dont have a heavy contrast look to them however this particular piece had a minimalist aesthetic and with its 4k display, it just looked amazing. I recently obtained this television, and the first good thing i noticed about it was its resolution and its upscaling, which is 4K. I believe this feature along with the PurColor technology makes this television's brightness stand out from other standard TVs. The 4K resolution really does make an impact- it feels quite Responsive sharp and clean.

Samsung requires the installation of an app (Smart Things) on one's smartphone and then linking that app to Alexa or another voice activated device in one's smart home. I found the process cumbersome and in actual fact never got it to work. So I am stuck using the onscreen keyboard and the remote to conduct searches, etc. I am thinking about re-installing my Firestick (from my old TV) and using the Firestick remote to reinstate voice functionality. Samsung can do better..

What a HUGE upgrade from my Roku TV! The picture quality is incredibly sharp, the colors are vivid without the picture having too much contrast, and there’s absolutely zero lag. But even before I was watching programming, I was already being wowed by the ease of set up. Basic setup was intuitive and a breeze. I dreaded reconnecting to Netflix, Prime and YouTube TV, but with the QR codes it couldn’t possibly have been easier! This television exceeds my expectations in every single way! (Oh…didn’t mention the sound. Two thumbs up, too! I’d heard that Samsung televisions have just mediocre sound quality. Well, not the case with this one! It’s crisp, clear and has far, far more distinctive volume than my apartment needs.)

Selection of Apps is easy to navigate and add. The issues I have with this system is the responsiveness of the TV and remote can be very sluggish at times as there is a delay between the time you press a button on the remote and the TV actually responding. Some apps can be slow to load and are buggy,not sure if it’s Samsung or the App itself. This is our third Samsung TV and we are still learning all of the options and choices.

It took me several minutes to figure out how to turn up the volume. I'm currently searching for a Samsung remote with voice. A local WM did not have the Samsung remote with voice/microphone key. I'm personally shocked this is considered and priced as a "budget" TV because it is simply amazing, and the low price makes it even that much more so. The picture is crisp and the 4K upscaling works and looks magnificent on anything I watch or stream. Being a SmartThings enabled set, you can control it with your smartphone or voice (or the old fashioned way, with the remote). It has a generous amount of HDMI and other inputs. This is the kind of quality I would expect out of a TV that is priced five times the cost of this one. Highly recommended.

I am SO happy with our choice. This tv has a great picture- we did mess with the brightness and saturation a little to get what we liked based on lighting in the room and that was easy to do. The navigation among streaming services and adding apps for services is super easy. The sound quality is also really good. Our previous tv needed a sound bar but it didn’t attach to this tv. We assumed we’d need to buy a new sound bar but we’ve been watching it a week now and the sound has been great with sports and movies. I highly recommend this tv. The price point makes it an easy choice and it’s definitely worth it!

For instance when you turn on the tv what happens, where does it go? You can’t change the home page to what suits you. Slow response to the remote actions. Do not care for the fast forwarding feature at all! Occasionally it seems to have a mind of its own. Settings are hard to navigate and understand. It does not tell you what episodes you have already seen on some channels. On the other hand the speakers are good and picture is good most of the time.

We had always bought Samsung TV’s until a few years ago we got talked into a LG. Bad mistake. A few months go I had a hissy fit over the LG and ordered a Samsung. Should have done it sooner. As an elderly adult, It was very simple to set up. No calls to my kids. The picture is beautiful and the sound is good. The biggest win is the ease of using it, no complicated instructions or turning off in the middle of a program. I have yet to reconnect to internet, a weekly event with my other tv. I am so happy to have a Samsung in my house again!

Loved the picture. But sadly no more. It has burnt out, and i am not pleased at all. I have had my 55 inch model just over 2 years. Not good enough ,frankly i will never buy a Samsung Tv ever again. Seems there is a massive issue re the setting for the picture WHICH Samsung don't warn you about. I actually thought my Tv was a Infra Red Heater as everytime i walked by it it was very warm . Then just under a week there was a burning plastic smell coming from the Tv. Could not find origionally where it was coming from. But then the Tv just started flickering and died. Looked online to see what could be the cause. Apparently Vivid or Dynamic setting causes more heat. So be warned. I never contacted Samsung , as no doubt they will just put the blame on myself.

I really enjoy my new Samsung TV now that it is setup but the process was not as simple as it could have been. Setting up the Wifi feed was a bit confusing as the instructions didn't state that the TV would automatically link with my wifi signal so I was looking to input my Wifi password at the beginning of the process. Also I understand wanting to get the user access to all the streaming channels easily but because I use the Amazon Firestick they are available there, already logged in and operable. Also for older owner, such as myself it can be a bit foreboding to navigate through all the streaming channels instead of simply adding the ones desired as I choose. Beyond that the TV performance is very good and controls are are great. I am very pleased with my new TV.

When I turn the tv on it has to wait for a bit before the actual picture comes on. Then it isn't what I was watching when I shut it off. I have to ush another button on the remote to get to a channel that I recognize. Also I hate having to have 2 remotes to control the tv. Everything is on the universal remote that I use but the sound is on the remote that came with the tv. Kind of a hassle. Otherwise it is a great produce!

The Upside of the TV is of a great design, very light and the Brightness and Contrast of the Screen is Paramount. It also has Uniformity,Upscaling and Responsiveness. I was looking to purchase 2 new TV’s. I had considered several smart TV’s, which were cheaper. My wife insisted we buy the SamsungTV’s, even though they were a little more. I gave in and we did get the 50” & 55” smart TV’s. Wow. The sharpness, contrast and sound are so much better, now that they’re home and I can see and hear the difference. They are great, amazing, etc. My only regret is that is should have gotten a 65” TV for the family room. Otherwise, I’m thrilled with my purchase.

Just three hdmi ports is insufficient , cable, roku, earc, No spot for a DVD player. There are many user who have legacy equipment and we feel short changed. Some users may just buy new equipment, I'm not one of them. I will have to find a work around for an additional HDMI port. Picture quality is very good, but the construction feels flimsy, but time will tell if it is durable.

From brighter whites and darker blacks to and the number of pixels it has, it produces a bright vibrant crisp clear picture while watching movies or playing games. I have to install and use CHSN for three local sports teams. I have no issues on my other tvs, installed and works. Not this TV, UN55U8000HFXZA. I have contacted support several times and was told I have to wait for their app database to update for this app on this model. It's been over 6 months! Very disappointed with Samsung not having this available.

I like the unit, it’s great. But I hate the user interface. Navigating is unforgiving, obtuse to use a kind word, and it was the most difficult of the conversion by far. Same goes for the streamers - someone needs to tell those people how bad their user interfaces really are. I bought it because I wanted to cut the cord but I wasn’t prepared for the amateur user interfaces I was forced to navigate just to pick out my services. TV gets an A+, streamers and apps get a D-

We bought a similar model, just larger for our living room a couple of months ago - and absolutely loved it. So when our Master bedroom TV went out last week - it was a no-brainer to just purchase the smaller size, but same technology. The ease of use of using this TV is spectacular. I tried adjusting and it does not dim really at all. Our last Samsung did this automatically. I also wish it would be on the last channel I was watching when we turned it off instead of having to go thru app screen every time when we turn it on. Sleep timer takes several clicks to get to as well (in settings). Old Samsung sleep timer was on the remote not in settings.

I love my new Samsung TV. The picture is clear and sharp. The options provided allow you to adjust the brightness of the picture without impacting its quality. The smart TV options are readily available and easy to use. This TV is fast and responsive. It doesn't lag or have delayed controls. This purchase was made to replace a faulty TV for my grandma. It is not only a nicer, replacement but the user interface was also simpler and easier for her to comprehend, as she doesn’t do well with new tech. Picture is great and better than a few other brands we have owned in the past, as a result I replaced my old Samsung plasma purchased in 2012 (still working reliably) with a newer smart tv and I now get to enjoy the great picture and user interface.

The sound is lackluster. Has decent sound but lacking in volume. A soundbar will fix that. For the negative the up and down volume control is on one side of the remote.,Took me hours of online searching to figure this out. I thought the volume was broken stuck on one setting. Worst volume control design ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, coming from a tiny 32 inch TV, this Samsung 55 inch one has been a huge upgrade! The sound system is great and the picture quality is amazing. I do feel like sometimes it is a tiny bit laggy with the control remote’s response, however, it doesn’t bother me and been using it just fine. I love that it has so many built in apps that are so convenient to use, such as Netflix with the click of a button. The colors are vibrant and I’ve been loving it!

My last TV broke (not a Samsung) and needed a new TV for my room to replace it with. I am such a fan of Samsung so it was an easy decision for me to make buying another Samsung (we already have 3 Samsung TV's and computer monitor in our house). This new one is really nice, the picture brightness and contrast is so sharp I love it. The size 43" was a perfect fit for my bedroom too. I think I can say I am a fan of Samsung and will be for a long time.

The responsiveness starts out slow then goes really fast so it can be frustrating. Also, this will be the second one I had to buy because the first one just stopped working. It was within the 30 period so it was easy to replace. Other than that we are happy with it. This is my forth Samsung tv purchase & in my opinion they are superior to any other.

So I just got this TV delivered today and I have set it up for gaming as that is what i tend to do in my free time. One thing i noticed is that this TV does have the BT2020 color space option and ST2084 gamma option (likely due to the HDR that this TV supports). Does this TV not have Dolby Vision? If it does and I just can't seem to find it I would like to Know if it does. My Xbox Series X doesn't seem to think this TV has Dolby Vision at least.

However, I wish I had more selections for Christian programming. Very few and far between if any. As far as I know, there are none on the Samsung TV app. I have to go to other apps or to get Christian programming and that’s even scarce. The family apps or the family option is mainly all cartoons very very, very little Choices for Adult movies and shows that are family orientated And Christian. Our four star rating is basically on the appearance of the picture not the programming. I rate the Samsung TV program app I’ll probably be at one or two star. There’s just nothing on it that even appeals to me. I do have other apps that I subscribe to that I have put on the TV that I do watch and even then those are few and far between for family orientated Christian programming

couldn't be happier with this TV! The brightness is fantastic, making colors look vibrant even in a well-lit room. The contrast and black levels are sharp, creating rich detail during movie nights. Screen uniformity is spot-on with no dark spots, and the 4K upscaling works wonders to make older content crisp and modern. Overall, pictures is great, but I’m disappointed in the sound output across so many different stations The auto feature on the sound output is great and should be compatible with multiple Bluetooth and/or HDMIARC without having to purchase a Samsung brand sound bar as I did not have the money to so right now unfortunately I’m stuck with a sound bar and can’t use the auto sound output feature to control the random very loud changes in volume

Had an electrical transformer explode at the street and the surge blew out my old tv even with a surge protector. So, I researched and found this one on sale. What an excellent tv. Was a bit of a learning curve to understand and use all the features/menus. The paper manual is in tiny print, so I went to the Samsung website and downloaded all the manuals: tv user manual, user setup, remote control and quick start up, etc. I was then able to enlarge and read them om my computer screen. Took me a couple of hours to fully explore, understand, and set all the features, but once done it became very easy and intuitive to use. For the $, tv is featured packed, excellent sound and picture. All menus and functions are smooth and relatively fast in responding and populating. I am impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me. Very pleased with this purchase.
