We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing an issue with sound when using your Fire TV Stick with your Crystal UHD U8000H Smart TV. We'd love to help. If the TV audio works well without the Fire TV Stick, this usually points toward an issue with the Fire TV Stick, its connection or its settings. You can manage the sound settings on your Fire TV Stick by going to its Home menu and selecting Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio/Video Diagnostics. Check for any previous Bluetooth connections to your Fire TV Stick by going to Settings > Controllers & Bluetooth Devices > Other Bluetooth Devices. If any headphones or speakers are connected, disconnect or unpair them, as these can cause interference and blockages. We also recommend performing a reboot of both devices by unplugging each from the wall socket and waiting for 60 seconds - this will clear any software glitches and force a brand new connection. We hope this information is helpful. If the issue remains, please don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly Support Teams who are on hand to provide further assistance. You can find our contact details and opening times here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/ Thank you for sharing your review. ^EW at Samsung Support

Hi Danno, We appreciate your feedback regarding your U8000H TV’s performance. If you're experiencing freezing or lag in general response time, please try the following steps: 1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be slowing things down: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care 3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system. If you're still noticing performance snags after these steps, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also connect with a LiveChat agent via the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor

Hi disgruntled TV owner, We appreciate you sharing your experience with the included remote. To help you get the most from your TV and remote functions, you can download the full e-Manual and more by visiting Samsung’s website then navigating to: Support > Manual & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select your U8000H TV model to view or download the available guides. The e-Manual & Remote Control Guide are also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides Learn TV Remote is another feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. When enabled, pressing any button (except the Power button, which will still turn off the TV) will prompt the TV to announce the button’s name and its purpose – without affecting TV operation. This teaching mode is especially useful for users who are visually impaired or new to Samsung remotes. To enable this feature, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, simply press the Return key twice. If you’d like more assistance with this feature, please reach Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Hi, Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Samsung U8000H TV. This model features Mega Contrast, which enhances the difference between light and dark areas on screen to deliver vibrant picture quality when viewed head-on. If you're noticing limited visibility from off to the side, it may help to know that step-up models with Dual LED offer better color and contrast consistency across wider angles. Beginning with our QN70H Neo QLED Series, Wide Viewing Angle technology further enhances off-angle viewing. If you'd like help adjusting settings or learning more about model features, Samsung Support is here to assist at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Hi Candyman33, Thank you for your review. If you're not hearing sound or sound is disconnecting from your U8000H TV, please try the following: • Check your volume and mute settings, and confirm external speakers are powered on. • If using HDMI ARC/eARC, make sure you’re using a certified HDMI cable and go to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > HDMI eARC Mode = Auto. Also enable Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) under External Device Manager. • For Bluetooth, try unpairing and reconnecting: Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List • For Wi-Fi speakers, use: Sound Output > Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup and make sure both devices are on the same network. You can also try running a Sound Test: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test If your issue continues, we’re happy to help at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Hi JJVLRM, We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung U8000H TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer. You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode • Standard – Default mode for general viewing • Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms • Movie – Best for dark room viewing • Eco – Energy-saving mode • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference. Lastly, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now We hope these tips help improve your viewing experience. Hi Noodle33, We appreciate your feedback on the U8000H TV. Unusual sounds can come from different sources, so first check whether it’s from the TV speakers, an external device (like a soundbar), or the back of the TV. • For external audio, ensure cables are connected to the correct output • If using antenna or cable, check signal strength: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal • Popping sounds from the back may be due to thermal expansion - this is normal and not a malfunction • Run a Sound Test to troubleshoot: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test If the image doesn’t quite match your preferences, there are several adjustments you can make to better suit your viewing environment and content type. First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include: • Standard – Ideal for general viewing • Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces • Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency • Movie – Best for viewing in low light • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content You can further customize your image by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color Tone, Sharpness, Contrast Enhancer and more. If you’d like help finding the best picture settings for your preferences, please don’t hesitate to contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Hi Judkins, Thanks for sharing your experience with your screen displaying a black screen and “No Signal” message. This typically indicates a connection or source issue. Let’s walk through a few steps to help get things working again. 1. Check Source & Connections • Confirm the source: Use the remote to make sure the TV is set to the correct input. Go to: Home > Left directional key > Connected Devices > Sources • Verify connections: Ensure all external devices (like a cable box or Blu-ray player) are powered on and securely connected via HDMI. Try switching to a different HDMI port or using another cable to rule out a faulty connection. For best results, we recommend using a High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet (HEAC) – this helps support 4K video and audio from most modern external devices. • Power cycle the TV: Unplug it from the wall for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in. 2. Update Your TV Software: Make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update 3. Signal & Broadcast Checks (Especially important if you're using a cable box or antenna) • Check signal strength: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal • Run Auto Program: Home > Left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Broadcasting > Auto Program 4. Advanced Troubleshooting • HDMI Test: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > HDMI Test • Try a different device: Connect another external device to the same HDMI port to see if the issue persists. • Check the power source: Make sure the TV is plugged into a working outlet. If using a surge protector, try plugging directly into the wall. • Factory reset (if needed): As a last resort, reset the TV to default settings. (Note: this will erase your preferences.) Hi Kodiakvic, Thank you for sharing your concerns. If your TV is announcing everything you do, the Voice Guide feature is likely turned on. This is an accessibility function designed to assist users who are visually impaired, and it may have been activated accidentally by holding down the Volume button on your remote. To turn off Voice Guide, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Voice Guide Settings > Voice Guide = OFF If there's anything else we can assist with, please don't hesitate to contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun).
