I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. Installation was very simple. First impressions were good, the machine is aesthetically pleasing and feels solid and well built. Our first minor issue was the visibility of the control markings in the lighting conditions of our room. The gold on grey markings are difficult to see from a standing position. Fortunately there are Braille and tactile guides so we got used to finding them quickly. As a large family the machine has been used several times every day since it was received. There is a wide selection of cleaning programmes available but the machine "learns" which are used most often and can offer them as first options to save time. The cleaning programmes seem longer than previous machines but they use less energy so save both money and the environment. The cleaning results are perfectly satisfactory. The Smart Home features of the machine were easy to set up, and do provide useful information, but we have not yet explored them all. In summary; We are very satisfied with the machine so far.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. I owned a Samsung washing machine prior to this one and I can say there have been some great improvements. On turning the machine on for the first time, the machine will take you through a ‘welcome to your machine’. Follow all the instructions and do a wash. Otherwise, the next time you turn it on it goes through the whole process again. The most noticeable improvement is how much quieter it is, especially on spin cycle. You can happily hold a conversation in the same room whilst it is at full spin. There is more space between the seal and door, so less likely for small items to become trapped (which was a problem I often encountered with my old machine). The door release at end of cycle is swift, so no waiting to unload the machine. The AddWash at first seems like a gimmick but is extremely useful. However, there are limits to this, e.g. time into cycle and temperature of water. If you have clothes which require only a rinse and/or spin or you need to add a special softener during the wash you can set the SmartThings App to provide an AddWash Alarm at first rinse, final rinse or spin. Great option to save you from waiting for a cycle to finish and then to have to run machine again on a rinse and/or spin cycle. There are an array of wash programmes and you also have the option of a programme to ‘pick and mix’ items and the machine will suggest the best cycle. This works well but there have been a couple of times where the programme, depending on what types of clothing you have selected, will not let you select certain items together. In this case you would have to select the default ‘mixed load’ on the machine rather than tailoring it yourself. I used it for a ‘pick and mix’ and where I would normally place the load on a 40 degree wash the machine selected 30. It washed perfectly well. There is a 15min short wash, which I would imagine will be extremely useful when we are short of time. Far quicker and more convenient than handwashing and waiting for a rinse and spin on my old machine! There does not appear to be any informative instructions on where to place the plastic insert when using liquid detergent. I have searched online but the exact tray is not shown on Samsung’s Q&A page. I have placed the insert where I believe it should go. However, when you pour in the detergent, it runs under the gauge, therefore unless you have measured it beforehand, you’ll never reach the max level mark. Surely the detergent should be held in the dispenser until the wash starts!?! The soap dispenser tray is designed to be self-cleaning. It is too early to comment, but hopefully this will be a beneficial feature as my old machine’s tray was often covered in mildew and it was extremely difficult to clean the housing around it. The machine connected to the WiFi, first time, and to my phone without issues. The smart phone connectivity using Samsung’s SmartThings is self-explanatory and after a couple of goes becomes easy to use. The ‘time left’ feature on the phone app is useful, as you are notified when the cycle has finished. If you have a compatible Samsung Drier, there is a great feature where the washing machine will send the washing cycle it has just used, to the drier, to set the correct drying cycle. The energy monitor, under settings, on the SmartThings App is a useful guide to energy consumed over the day, week and month. If you have a compatible television, a message that the machine has finished will pop up on your screen, which is great as the finished load does not sit in the machine until you finally remember you put a load on, hours ago!

Absolutely love this washing machine. I’ve always had Indesit before. So glad I went for Samsung. So quiet compared to any other I’ve had before. Clothes come out smelling lovely. I was a bit concerned about the wash lengths but I can do a full 10.5 load at 40 degrees in 1.5 hours. The automatic dispensing is a great idea and you can adjust amounts of detergent and fabric softener. Looks great too. Bought a heat pump dryer and Samsung stacking kit and I’m extremely please with all of them. May have cost a bit more than I’d normally pay but definitely worth the little extra.😀

Quite literally the worst washing machine I've ever owned, noticed clothes coming out smelling musty and not nice from about month 3. No change in washing habits or powder, just the machine which changed and the washes got noticeably worse. I gave up using the steam function as it just made clothes smell even worse. WHen I popped a dirty white T shirt in there with other white T shirts, they actually came out with mud splots all over them which had migrated from dirty t shirt after washing. My white t shirts literally dirtier than when they went in. It finally broke down after only 4years... with light 3 loads only a week use. (drum noisy, then stopped spinning even though motor going, so probably belt and bearings issue, but I was so happy to get rid of it). Build was cheap, drawer front different shade of grey to rest of machine. Clunky multiple button and wheel turn actions to change wash functions within usual settings. Clearly too many expensive add ons to get dirty inside machine, I suspect the steam function, the extra door for adding in things mid wash, the sealed auto dose trays, etc. Was so expensive had to run it's life, super bad value for money, didn't use auto dosing function, just powder to counteract the smell which was worse with liquid detergents. Was quite though at start, that's literally all I have good to say about this machine. I had such a big argument with John Lewis over I haven't shopped with them since, and I'll never buy a Samsung electrical product again (as their stick hoover's pretty much the same story as this washing machine). So glad the washing machine broke so I could go back to my favoured brands. Samsung's temporary trial is over in this household.

I bought this a year ago and it simply cannot wash bed linen or towels. Anything that gets too heavy when wet, even a single towel that I balance in a load of washing seems to make the barrel bang LOUDLY into the side walls of the machine - the walls visibly are being banged by the tub. Like I’ll put a thick sheet in, distributed amongst other items, and it ends up in a single heavy ball by the spin cycle. My previous Samsung washing machine had no trouble with these items at all. The touch screen buttons are annoying as all hell, if I lean over my machine while it’s on, it turns it off from the pressure of my leg touching it.

This machine is a bit of a con. Despite being advertised as an 8.5 kilo machine, that capacity is only available on one of the (many) wash programmes. The majority are significantly less than the advertised 8.5 kilos. This means multiple loads, a maths degree, and a set of scales to try and determine the maximum capacity. Water efficiency ? Meh. The machine should have been made in the days of rock 'n roll, because that's all it does, despite being levelled to within an inch of its life. Some good features but in essence is a 'banger' . The noise it makes doubles as a home security alarm. A huge disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only got the washing machine a few days. First of all my only annoyance so far is the bleep when you turn it on and when it is finished. Something you cant turn off shame as you can switch of the wee tune it plays on completion of a cycle which is funny first time. So the machine looks good in in its place we have the metallic grey version. It runs nice and quiet even at 1400 spin cycle. Much quieter then our ten year old Bosch which served us very well. The ability to pause and add to the load midway through is a great addition. The user interface is very simple it is all digital but very well laid out and user friendly. So far it has been a great purchase

Bought this matching in April 2024, 9 months later had to have the door and seal replaced as it leaked. It still leaks on a fast spin. Now it’s become really noisy, sound like the bearings have gone. Really not impressed with this machine, which was expensive. My old Samsung lasted 9 yrs, this machine is awful. Smells damp even though I clean the machine and leave the door ajar. Looking at the reviews, there seems to be a problem with some of them. I would not recommend this model

Terrible machine. This is probably the worst performing washing machine I have ever had the misfortune to own! The add washing door is great in theory but it’s awful to keep clean, the seals get clogged up constantly. The wash cycles are pretty poor the best being cloudy day customised to my requirements, it seems to offer the best clean but at 1hour 58 minutes it’s not a fast wash. The mixed load 4 kg with 1400 spin speed brings the clothes out wet. The quick wash isn’t great and to be honest the machine is certainly not the quietest. This machine was on Which best buys I would not recommend it.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes a week ago and have used it daily , so far so good there are a lot of program settings to choose from so still trying out each one to see which gives us the best results for our daily needs. The Quick wash and Activewear cycle are really good for small wash loads. So far the best feature has to be the Addwash feature which is a small door on the front of the main door which allows you to add stray items to the wash once it has already began. Look forward to discovering more features the longer we own this washing machine.

My old washer was a samsung lasted 10yrs so I went with the same brand again & I'm glad I did, it's very quiet & even my son & partner can use it it's that simple. I like how you can edit out the cycles you don't need so it's quicker to find your setting especially with what 22 to pick from..... My son loves using the app, starting it from his bedroom & it then tells you when it's finished in a Notification! Great for working parents, put a load in before work then set it to start from work & hang it up when your home, very convenient.

I bought his yesterday to replace an old machine that had broken. I have found this machine to be whisper quiet even in the spin cycle. I am thankful it has an app that I can see that it’s finished or I’d have to set an alarm so I didn’t forget it was on, unless I am in the laundry I can’t hear it going & even then I can barely hear it. The wash quality is excellent, I love the add item door, handy for those things that you often forget. The app connected easily, it’s easy to use & set my wash program. The only thing I would say to add to it would be in the Energy Monitor to have the amount of water used, I think knowing both how much energy & how much water I’ve used per day would be handy.

bought 3mnt a go since then struggling getting solution for issue. The detergent drawer don't hold liquid detergent for main cycle so pre-wash function is useless. all the detergent is used in prewash cycle and nothing left for main cycle. Tech visited 2 times and not solved , said its same in all series in samsung. Now samsung says machine is working fine and can't be solve while this is design issue with samsung and they are not able to accept it. very disappointed with samsung this time while i had may product of them with no issue and when there is issue they putup the hand. Never will be investing these expensive gints product... rather go for cheaper as i can buy 2 with this money even its faulty .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not find my new machine within the Samsung list, however, my model is very close to the version named at the head of this review. My model "Samsung Series 6 AutoDose WW90T534DAW Wifi Connected 9Kg Washing Machine with 1400 rpm" is only a few hours up and running and it is superb. The old machine was also a Samsung machine and that was faultless until the end and to be fair it may well have been reparable but at 10+ years it was time to renew. This new model is so quiet compared to the older machine and silky smooth during the 1400rpm spin cycle it is a game changer for us as the last one was beginning to dance. Functions are extremely easy to operate and coupled to a clear, bright easy to read display. I was very surprised with the wifi function as at the end of the first wash a message popped up on our Samsung TV indicating the wash was complete, I thought this was brilliant. I guess there is not a great deal you can say about a washing machine but these machines are quality through and through, I would highly recommend to everyone.

I wasn't aware of all the features it had until I got it delivered. I didn't even realize this was WiFi connectable, a feature I didn't think I would use, but it has come in handy a few times now when I've needed to program a wash cycle and have it finish just before getting home from work. There are many different wash cycle options, I don't think I'll ever need to use them all. The build seems very sturdy and I'm surprised at how much quieter it is compared to my old washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ‘I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes.’ Having previously owned a Samsung Ecobubble, I was keen to try out this newer model to see how it compared and what improvements have been made. It hasn't disappointed! I love the smart connectivity. It is really useful being able to programme it for your specific needs and track its progress. The fact that you can link it to your tumble dryer is great as it saves time by telling the machine which programme needs selecting. I have used a number of different wash programmes and all of them have washed my laundry well. The door seal is better than my old model as I no longer get small items such as socks trapped in it. There is a multitude of different cycles which should cover all of your laundry needs including a 15 minute quick wash. This feature is going to be a real asset when we are pushed for time. The AddWash flap is marvellous as I am forever dropping odd socks or finding additional items after I have started the cycle. I am looking forward to trying out some of the other programmes to see how well they perform. It is an extremely quiet machine, looks great and functions well!

The machine can be set from the Samusng Smart Things App which allows you to make a bespoke wash to suit your load. The settings on the machine are versatile. It sings a happy song when it finishes. The door to add extra items is handy for small items you find left behind, although this tends to trap dirt easily so needs frequent cleaning. It has a neat finish which sits well under the benchtop - looks very stylish. Quiet even at high 1400RPM spin cycle. Cool or shorter washes struggle with removing soiling but that's not unusual. Overall I am very happy with this machine and the matching dryer that 'talk' to each other.

This machine is not fit for purpose. Sold as an 8.5kg machine but unless you use the longest cycles only 4kg can go in at one time. No good for a family. Clothes do not wash properly. Does not heat own water despite not being advertised as requiring hot water input Clothes do not come out clean. They come out stained and with food still attached. Towels come out with toothpaste smears. Nothing smells clean. It’s not fit for purpose and we’ll be needing another new machine. Super disappointed as I typically only buy Samsung front loaders.

The machine has a wide range of features and options. I bought it because of the brand and the look of the machine, as well as the range of features. However, I have been surprised by the lack of options for using the full 9kg capacity. The Eco wash took 2 hours and 44 minutes. I am sure that this has all been worked out for efficiency, but shorter washes only allow for a more limited weight. I will have to adjust my approach to washing laundry because this machine is way ahead of the machine it replaced. It is great that it is so quiet.

Really disappointed with the washing machine. Baby socks and various other bit of clothing end up getting trapped in the inside of the door where the water exits. As a result, the clothes that end up getting trapped are ending up filthy. Also, you can’t set the timer for when you want the washing machine to actually start. You can set it for when you want it to finish, which means for example that if you want it to finish for 3 o’clock in the afternoon and you start it at 8, it will wash the clothes for 7 HOURS!!! What is that about

I would not purchase this item. I bought one earlier this year, after 6 months use the machine leaked water through the laundry. A Samsung repairer came and inspected machine to discover there was a crack in the plastic drum. The repairer said it seemed to be from a "foreign object" and therefore warranty would not cover it. From the wash the drum seemed to crack which seemed like a manufacturers fault. Prior to this washer we had a Samsung front loader for 10 years which is why we went back. Will not buy a Samsung washer agian!

The auto dispenser feature is poor. Not enough detergent is delivered to the machine. An engineer replaced the dispenser tray for us but this did not improve the situation. Clothes do not smell nice at end of wash. No/very little conditioner is being dispensed either. Customer services state there is nothing wrong with the machine and it is a "customer experience" problem. Some other reviews on other websites say the same as us. We are now having to use the manual option which defeats the reason why we bought the washing machine.

However the instructions were confusing as I have only a cold water supply in my rental hooked up for a machine and it came with a hot & cold feed on the back. But took the risk and unboxed it. And so far I’ve been able to run hot washes so it does have an internal heater and a hot supply isn’t needed. Samsung weren’t able to help on the phone and instructions were just generic on that whole area so unhelpful. But everything else is great (especially that you can turn off the jingle noises!)

It is stunning to look at and works like a dream. It is easy to add extra items when you need to and it is quiet and efficient with such low water use compared to my old top loader and it stays in the one spot, even when fully loaded and spinning at high speed. No more hefting the old monster back into place after every use. This is a machine for a family who wants to save energy without compromising on hygiene. Both my partner and I were able to familiarise ourselves with the basic controls very quickly and we are not young so no one needs to be afraid of moving out of the old and into the new! I absolutely love my washing machine I probably love it a little more than my boyfriend lol. It was worth spending the little extra the better performance. My cloths come out practically bone dry compared to my previous machine from another popular brand. I love the functions and being able to manage it through my phone. The only downside is my 1 year despite me using the child lock function can press the off button which cancels the whole cycle which I find so annoying and that’s why I took one star away.

Love the simple design and features. The SmartThings app : can be connected to other smart devices, the wash features can be set and customised, monitor and notify wash completion. Note: the only drawback is setting up the Wi-Fi connection, due to some compatibility issues. (i.g. my router is configured with 5G & 2.4G using same Wi-Fi name and not possible to connect. The only workaround is to turn on the guest Wi-Fi mode and configure under single mode 2.4G, to resolve the issue).

It's not extremely quiet, but i can be in the kitchen during the spin cycle and talk to someone on the phone, which is a massive upgrade from my old one. Having the option to add more stuff after the cycle started - love it. The only thing that irks me is that despite the clear ability to steam things up there's no option to do a little 20 min steam wrinkle treatment.

We called Samsung and they sent a person who charged us 150 AED to check, and he informed us that the drum is damaged and it is NOT covered by the warranty, and we have to fully pay for fixing it (around 700 AED). I honestly do not trust the maintenance team to properly fix the machine. So it is a total waste.

It’s almost worth the price. Washes nicely. Unfortunately sometimes the drum bangs on the side which can be noisy. Also when we’re washing small items or baby clothes they get stuck in the door seal in the middle and end up dripping with water when everything else is clean. I found a half dissolved tide pod in there yesterday. The drain gap is just too big. Great features and it looks lovely. And it is quiet when it’s not banging against itself.

I bought mine last week and find my clothes are beautifully clean. The spin cycle in the last 5minutes is very loud and intense but I'm also as a result drying my clothes in half the usual time because they're spun so well. I'd recommend this to anyone with young kids at home that get a lot of food and play stains with addition bubble soak options and my favorite the steam clean. It meets all my needs, I can put up with 5mins of a bit of noise

It was a great dryer with the AI function to drying your clothes in your fingertips. This dryer is intuitive, energy efficient and easy to use. It works with the Samsung Smart things .You can check the load timer, receving completed notification to your phone. The water reservoir is full after about 3 loads. Plus, it came with the wrinkle prevent function.

We bought this four months ago, and from the first month, we have been trying to return this and get a refund. Samsung still didn't agree to the return and refund because they said the machine was working fine in their operation check. We have already communicated with them the machine is operating well, but the performance is poor. The machine operating functions are ok, but our problem with this machine is lint collection in other clothes. All our dark garments are getting spoiled with a lint collection. My office clothes and kids' school uniforms worsen every wash. We tried all the options with washing significantly fewer clothes and only dark garments together. But very unhappy with the machine performance. This is a genuine review, and we never recommend this model to anyone. We hope Samsung values our money and helps us sort this issue soon.

I bought a Samsung combo washer and dryer about 3 years ago. I just had problems since. 3 times some piping came loose, flooding the entire laundry room, every time it was a different pipe. Now the machine started smoking from the drum, sending out a horrible smell of burned plastic/rubber. which is kind of scary. This machine is only 3 years old, barely used as is in an household of only 2 people. I will never buy a Samsung again!

Used a couple of times great results with wash , but be careful although its an 8.5kg machine only a few of programs that let you use 8.5kg and they are very long washes.Would have given 5 stars but I feel this lets it down. One other thing it needs a hot and cold water inlet unlike the pictures you see online with just cold inlet .As I purchased it from an online outlet I was not aware of this may have looked at another model.

I don't have to mess about with detergent on every wash. There is the option to turn off auto dose, so if like me, you have powder or tablets to use up, you can use them. The quick 15 minute wash is great. And unlike my last Samsung washing machine, you can change the spin on the cycle up to 1400rpm. The next quickest wash is 59 mins, which I use most of all. The only gripe I have with this cycle is you can't have a higher temperature wash than 40 degrees. There also isn't a 50 degree wash option on this machine. I don't use any of the other wash cycles as they are so long. The bubble soak is quite handy for stains, as it only puts 30mins onto the wash. I've only had the washing machine a few days, but I'm pleased with it up to now.

We has a Bosch which had a big drum. We could load nearly all my washing in in one go. This washing machine is advertised as 9kg but it actually means 9kg when wet as a Samsung customer service person told me. There is only one wash cycle that allows this weight. All the others are 2-4kg. I really wish I hadn't wasted my money. With a young family, we really need a big drum so I don't have to wash 2 loads a day.

You can’t put too much in without it not finishing the wash and getting stuck on either 16 or 9 minutes for a rinse. Yesterday I put 2 blankets in and had to take 1 out while it was saturated and wait for the other one to finish, then put the other one back in.. it’s a nuisance

I agree with the reviewer who stated that a lot of the setting are for 2 to 4 kg, this washer is a 8.5kg washer so why can I only do some loads at 2 to 4kg makes no sense to me

For an AI machine, this is the stupidest washing machine I've ever bought. The only short cycle is 15 mins - too short. The next daily cycle is over 1.5hr and it's ruining all my clothes and bedding because it's way too long. Some cycles are over 2 hours! Now, I have to do my laundry on delicate (with no spin) then spin it separately. Useless. Annoyed.

i have had the washing machine for a couple of weeks and cannot praise it enough. Easy to use with the pre settings, large drum so i can wash bulkier items such as bedding and throws. The add wash is an added bonus for the occasional item that gets missed out. Nothing but good things to say about it. 10/10.

We've been a samsung family for years and after 10 years with our old washer, which had no mechanical issues, hard water killed it, we got another washer. We've had it 2 years and it's great. Just bought the dryer to go with, as kids have got bigger and busier, so we needed the speed to keep them moving.

It has a great selection of washing cycles and runs fairly quietly compared to our old front loader. It also washes the clothes well and has a great fast spin cycle. Also for the price of the machine it performs very well.

I bought this 2 months ago. it started to leak water and soap from drum door and detergent sloot, which is a big manufacturing defect of poor quality! first time to use Samsung waching machine, before that I had been using Ariston washing machine (made in Italy) for 8 years and never happened like that.

I love this machine, great quick wash for when your in a hurry, auto dosing of detergent and softener has saved me a fortune as I always put too much in, fantastic cleaning. I can start it remotely so it’s ready when I get home. Beats the time delay as my work hours change all the time. Great time saver

The washer works brill, clothes come out nearly dry. The washer has wifi and an app which allows to you to select a program from your phone but then you have to manually go to the washer to switch it on and press start so not much point in the wifi or app. Other than that I’m happy with the washer.

I do find the finish tone/bell is very loud and loud. Would love the option to mute it over night, as I often havr loads finish while the family is sleeping. But otherwise I love it!!!
