Emergency Alert

Emergency Mobile Alerts are messages sent by authorised emergency agencies. The alerts can be targeted to areas affected by serious hazards. 

Most of the Samsung devices are capable to receiving the alerts from Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management. Please follow the steps below to check the settings:

1 Go to the [Messages]:

2 Click 3 dots on top right, and then go to settings.

3 Click [Emergency alert settings].

4 Under Emergency alerts, enable [Extreme Threat] and [Severe Threat], also both of [Vibrate when sound plays] and [Alert sound].

5 Choose Alert reminder from [Once], [Every 2 mins] or [Every 5 mins].

6 To test, please click [Emergency notification preview].
