Will the alarm work even if the device is turned off

In most smart phones the alarm feature is software dependent. This means if the device has been powered off or is no longer working your alarm will not go off as the software is no longer running.


However, you are able to test this feature. You may if an alarm will go off on your phone even while it is turned off by following the below steps:

- Set an alarm two or three minutes from the current time.

- Turn the device off

- Wait for two to three minutes (until the set alarm time) to see if the alarm will be activated on your phone.


Please ensure prior to testing this out, your device has a charged battery.
