Front-load Washer Super Speed 9.5kg

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. Installation was very simple. First impressions were good, the machine is aesthetically pleasing and feels solid and well built. Our first minor issue was the visibility of the control markings in the lighting conditions of our room. The gold on grey markings are difficult to see from a standing position. Fortunately there are Braille and tactile guides so we got used to finding them quickly. As a large family the machine has been used several times every day since it was received. There is a wide selection of cleaning programmes available but the machine "learns" which are used most often and can offer them as first options to save time. The cleaning programmes seem longer than previous machines but they use less energy so save both money and the environment. The cleaning results are perfectly satisfactory. The Smart Home features of the machine were easy to set up, and do provide useful information, but we have not yet explored them all. In summary; We are very satisfied with the machine so far.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. I owned a Samsung washing machine prior to this one and I can say there have been some great improvements. On turning the machine on for the first time, the machine will take you through a ‘welcome to your machine’. Follow all the instructions and do a wash. Otherwise, the next time you turn it on it goes through the whole process again. The most noticeable improvement is how much quieter it is, especially on spin cycle. You can happily hold a conversation in the same room whilst it is at full spin. There is more space between the seal and door, so less likely for small items to become trapped (which was a problem I often encountered with my old machine). The door release at end of cycle is swift, so no waiting to unload the machine. The AddWash at first seems like a gimmick but is extremely useful. However, there are limits to this, e.g. time into cycle and temperature of water. If you have clothes which require only a rinse and/or spin or you need to add a special softener during the wash you can set the SmartThings App to provide an AddWash Alarm at first rinse, final rinse or spin. Great option to save you from waiting for a cycle to finish and then to have to run machine again on a rinse and/or spin cycle. There are an array of wash programmes and you also have the option of a programme to ‘pick and mix’ items and the machine will suggest the best cycle. This works well but there have been a couple of times where the programme, depending on what types of clothing you have selected, will not let you select certain items together. In this case you would have to select the default ‘mixed load’ on the machine rather than tailoring it yourself. I used it for a ‘pick and mix’ and where I would normally place the load on a 40 degree wash the machine selected 30. It washed perfectly well. There is a 15min short wash, which I would imagine will be extremely useful when we are short of time. Far quicker and more convenient than handwashing and waiting for a rinse and spin on my old machine! There does not appear to be any informative instructions on where to place the plastic insert when using liquid detergent. I have searched online but the exact tray is not shown on Samsung’s Q&A page. I have placed the insert where I believe it should go. However, when you pour in the detergent, it runs under the gauge, therefore unless you have measured it beforehand, you’ll never reach the max level mark. Surely the detergent should be held in the dispenser until the wash starts!?! The soap dispenser tray is designed to be self-cleaning. It is too early to comment, but hopefully this will be a beneficial feature as my old machine’s tray was often covered in mildew and it was extremely difficult to clean the housing around it. The machine connected to the WiFi, first time, and to my phone without issues. The smart phone connectivity using Samsung’s SmartThings is self-explanatory and after a couple of goes becomes easy to use. The ‘time left’ feature on the phone app is useful, as you are notified when the cycle has finished. If you have a compatible Samsung Drier, there is a great feature where the washing machine will send the washing cycle it has just used, to the drier, to set the correct drying cycle. The energy monitor, under settings, on the SmartThings App is a useful guide to energy consumed over the day, week and month. If you have a compatible television, a message that the machine has finished will pop up on your screen, which is great as the finished load does not sit in the machine until you finally remember you put a load on, hours ago!

Déçue car je pensait que les options étaient les mêmes sur toutes les machines comme le nettoyage tambour + ,Quick drive et aussi le distributeur de lessive. J'avais une 7kg et je trouve que 9kg c'est toujours pas assez grand pour laver une couette 2 personnes ! De plus , les petites pièces se coincent entre le joint et la porte et je trouve aussi dommage de ne pas avoir mis plutôt un départ différé car c'est mieux qu'un arrêt différé. La trappe sert a quoi ? Car ajouter du linge en cours de cycle c'est pas hygiénique ? Le plus qui me déçois c'est la capacité du lave linge pour 9kg c'est pas beaucoup plus que 7kg et qu'il ne fasse pas départ différé..

Je suis ravie de ce lave-linge très facile d'utilisation : choix des programmes disponibles qui se modulent selon les besoins notamment température de lavage et type de séchage. Le lancement en différé est pratique : heure de fin à indiquer plutôt que l'heure de début du cycle qui induit un sacré calcul (fonction de mon ancien lave-linge Whirlpool). La machine pèse le linge à chaque debut de cycle. La machine est silencieuse en fonctionnement (juste une musique de Schubert lorsque c'est terminé) Je suis vraiment contente de mon achat (bon rapport qualité prix) et je suis certaine de ne pas avoir utilisé la totalité des options ! Samsung est une marque au top !

Déçu du produit. La fonctionne dosage de lessive pour moi ne fonctionne pas correctement. Je remets toujours autant de lessive dans le compartiment et tout pars. J'ai testé avec plusieurs sortes de cycles et toujours la même chose malgré des dosages de lessive différents. De plus, je n'avais pas remarqué mais dommage que l'on puisse pas faire de départ différé , ce qui était essentiel pour moi. J'ai aussi testé la fonction connection au téléphone. J'ai essayé de mettre ma machine en route de loin mais cela n'a pas fonctionné, cela me mettais qu'il fallait allumer ma machine alors qu'elle y était a ce moment. Dommage, je ne vois donc pas l'utilité de l'application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only got the washing machine a few days. First of all my only annoyance so far is the bleep when you turn it on and when it is finished. Something you cant turn off shame as you can switch of the wee tune it plays on completion of a cycle which is funny first time. So the machine looks good in in its place we have the metallic grey version. It runs nice and quiet even at 1400 spin cycle. Much quieter then our ten year old Bosch which served us very well. The ability to pause and add to the load midway through is a great addition. The user interface is very simple it is all digital but very well laid out and user friendly. So far it has been a great purchase

Le pire achat électroménager ! Une machine "intelligente" qui est totalement imprévisible. Elle pèse le linge en début de cycle et prévoit 1h27 de lavage. Après 1h de lavage, elle change la durée pour 3h30 ! La programmation en heure creuse devient donc aléatoire. On a pesé le linge et on était toujours entre 4 et 6kg (avec du linge peu sale). La machine est donnée pour 8kg. Donc pourquoi 3h30 pour laver 4 à 6 kg de linge peu sale ! Je me demande comment je peux économiser si 2 cycles sur 3 durent 2,5 fois plus longtemps et avec 7 machines par weekend (enfants en internat), ça fait déjà presque 24h de lavage !

Terrible machine. This is probably the worst performing washing machine I have ever had the misfortune to own! The add washing door is great in theory but it’s awful to keep clean, the seals get clogged up constantly. The wash cycles are pretty poor the best being cloudy day customised to my requirements, it seems to offer the best clean but at 1hour 58 minutes it’s not a fast wash. The mixed load 4 kg with 1400 spin speed brings the clothes out wet. The quick wash isn’t great and to be honest the machine is certainly not the quietest. This machine was on Which best buys I would not recommend it.
