How to restart my mobile if its frozen or not responding

It can be extremely fustrating when your mobile freezes and stop responding, and you are unable to navigate. Fortunately there are some troubleshooting steps you can take without sending in your Mobile for servicing

1 Hold down the Volume down Button and Power Button simultaneously for 7 seconds

2 The Galaxy device will restart and reboot  

 

Run a update on the Software Version  

System updates can bring improvements that could fix your issue. To check if there is a software update available on your Galaxy phone launch your

 

Settings > Software update > Download and install > Update Now

If your Galaxy Device powers on but won't load the operating system or get stuck on Samsung Logo, you would need to bring down your device to our service centre.  

If you have a limited amount of storage on your Galaxy device this could possibly slow down your phone, you can try clearing up space or memory within your Device Care settings.

 

1 Launch your Settings > tap on Device Care

2 Select Storage

3 Tap on Clean now.

4 Upon Completion > Device Care Page > Memory

5 Tap on Clean now button  

Using Safe Mode on a Samsung phone or tablet allows you to force the device to run the essential operating system, and disable most 3rd party applications. It's designed as a diagnostic tool to help solve issues with connectivity, battery life, and more.

 

To boot your phone into safe mode:

 

1 Turn off the device by holding on to the power button

2 Press and hold the Power and the Volume Down buttons at the same time, to turn the device on.

3 When you see the Samsung logo appear on the screen, you can let go of the Power button while the device boots up. Make sure to keep holding the Volume Down button.

4 Once rebooted in safe mode, it will be indicated below on bottom left of your mobile
