Samsung T450 soundbar has no sound when watching TV source

No sound

If your soundbar sound drops out, or is not making sound while watching the TV source, there is an easy way to resolve the issue. Generally if you change the channel on your TV or Set Top Box the sound should come back, but to permanently fix the issue you can update the firmware on your soundbar.

If you happen to notice an odd sound from your soundbar that sounds like a siren while watching TV, there is a simple explanation and solution. This may only occur when your TV's sound mode is set to Adaptive or Smart. Simply updating the software on your soundbar will take care of the issue.

You may notice that your soundbar is automatically reconnecting to your TV via Bluetooth, even after you deleted it from the list of paired Bluetooth devices. The soundbar did not erase the Bluetooth MAC address from its memory, but a simple firmware update will correct the issue.
