Samsung Galaxy Note9 Platinum Experience with Samsung Rewards

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility: Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Platinum Experience with Samsung Rewards Offer (the "Offer") is open to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States including D.C., Puerto Rico & U.S. Virgin Islands and are eighteen (18) years old or older and have a mobile plan with a U.S. carrier. Offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law.  Data rates may apply to participate in Offer. Eligible individuals are each, a “Participant”, collectively the “Participants” (and may be referred to throughout these Terms and Conditions as “you” or “your”).

2. Timing: The Offer begins on August 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time ("PT") and ends on September 30, 2018 at 4:59 p.m. PT (the "Offer Period"). Sponsor’s server is the official time-keeping device for the Offer.

3. How to Participate in Offer: During the Offer Period, purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note9 device and take the following actions on the new device

(a) Download and activate the Samsung Pay App ("App”) from Google Play;

(b) Sign in to the App with your Samsung Account.  If you don't have a Samsung account, you can
      create an account here. Accounts are free, but subject to Terms and Conditions;

(c) Visit Samsung Rewards (on the home page of the App); and

(d) Read, and if you agree, accept the Samsung Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (if you have
      previously joined using another device, this will not be required);

(e) Click the “Activate Platinum Status” button from the main promotion page.

4. Receive Automatic Upgrade to Platinum Tier Status:

By completing the actions listed in Section 3 on your new Galaxy Note9, Participants will immediately receive an  automatic upgrade to Platinum Tier Status (defined in the Samsung Rewards Program, Section D.1) for all purchases made through the App with a qualifying credit or debit card through the dates set forth in the chart below:

   
Your Tier Status after the special Platinum Status period ends will depend on the total number of transactions you have made during the Platinum Status period as set forth in the Samsung Rewards Program terms.

5. Earn Samsung Rewards Points:

Participants may earn Samsung Rewards Points, while supplies last, by completing the following during the Offer Period using their Galaxy Note9 Device:

(a)   Add/activate one (1) qualifying credit or debit to your Samsung Pay account. Not all cards are compatible; check the Samsung Pay Support page for a compatibility list: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/samsung-pay. You will receive 500 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action.

(b)   Make three (3) purchase transactions using the Samsung Pay App with a Qualifying Card (herein “Qualifying Transaction”) at any time during the Offer Period. You will receive 500 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action. 

(c)   Make a total of twenty (20) Qualifying Transactions* cumulatively during the Offer Period.  You will receive 500 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action.

(d)   Make three (3) Qualifying Transactions* on Labor Day (September 3, 2018, from 12:00 a.m. PT through 11:59 p.m. PT).  You will receive 400 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action.

(e)   Add your PayPal account to your Samsung Pay account. Make three (3) in-store Qualifying Transactions* with your using PayPal account.   You will receive 400 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action.

(f)    Add one (1) Membership Card that is included in Membership list on the Samsung Pay App to your Samsung Pay account. You will receive 150 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action.

(g)   Make a qualifying purchase to earn “Cash Back Award” through the Samsung Pay App.  The Cash Back Award offers can be found within the “Deals” tab of the Samsung Pay App. If you complete the requirements to receive the Cash Back Award offer, you will receive 400 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action.

(h)   Redeem Points for one (1) play of an Instant Win Game for any prize offered in the Samsung Rewards catalog. You will receive 150 Samsung Rewards Points for completion of this action.

Limit:  Participants can earn Samsung Rewards Points for completing the listed actions one (1) time per Samsung Account. 

*NOTE: Only one (1) Qualifying Transaction per Samsung Pay account per five (5) minutes will be counted. If multiple transactions are made within five (5) minutes, only one (1) will count toward the goals listed above in subsections (b) – (d).

Offer Governed By Samsung Rewards Program: The Terms and Conditions of the Samsung Rewards Program (http://www.samsung.com/us/samsung-pay/rewards-terms-and-conditions/) are incorporated herein by reference and govern this Offer, including those relating to Reward Point use, redemptions and expiration.
