Forwarding Calls to Your Gear S

The Auto call forwarding feature will turn on call forwarding automatically when your Samsung Gear S is disconnected from your paired mobile device. Incoming calls will be forwarded to your Gear S until the devices are reconnected.

Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Automatic Call Forwarding

  1. When you pair your Gear S with your mobile device, call forwarding will turn on automatically.

      

  2. Review the information about call forwarding.

      

  3. Mark the I have read and accepted checkbox and then touch Yes to continue.

       

Turn Off Automatic Call Forwarding

  1. From the Clock screen, swipe up to access the Apps menu.

                                     

  2. Touch Settings.

                                        

  3. Touch Call.

                                   

  4. Touch Auto call forwarding.

                                       

                                       

  5. Unmark the Turn on checkbox.

                                     

                                 

Turn On Automatic Call Forwarding

  1. From the Clock screen, swipe up to access the Apps menu.

                        

  2. Touch Settings.

                                

  3. Touch Call.

                             

  4. Touch Auto call forwarding.

                                                  

                                        

  5. Mark the Turn on checkbox.

                               

                               

  6. Verify that the number for your Gear S is correct and touch Yes. If the number is not correct, touch No and enter the correct number.

                            

                                              

Answer or Reject Calls

  • When you receive a call on your Gear S, touch and swipe the Answer Call icon in any direction to answer it, or touch and swipe the End Call icon in any direction to reject it.
  • During an active call on your Gear S, you can touch the Send to Device icon to send the call to your mobile device if the devices have reconnected, or touch the End Call icon to end the call.

• If you feel discomfort while using the device, stop using it and remove it from your wrist.
• To avoid device malfunction, skin discomfort or damage, and battery draining, an initial warning will appear on the device if it reaches a specific temperature.
• If the device temperature continues to rise, a second warning will appear, and all device functions except outgoing 911 calls will be turned off.
• If you are on a call with 911 when the second warning appears, the call will remain active until you end it.
• If the device temperature rises further, a third warning will appear, and the entire device will shut down.
• Any 911 call that is connected at the time will remain active until you end the call.
• However, no new calls, including 911 calls, can be made until the device cools down to a specific temperature.
