Using the Photo Beam Function on Your Galaxy Camera

The Photo Beam feature lets the camera connect to a NFC-enabled smart phone while the camera is in playback mode and transfer the current photo or video automatically.

Using Photo Beam

  1. Go to the Playback mode on the camera.

  2. Select an image to view.

  3. On the smartphone, turn ON the NFC function and place the smartphone near the NFC tag of the camera.

  4. Select the camera from the list and connect the smartphone to the camera.

  5.  Using the camera, allow the smartphone to connect to the camera.

After the first setup, the camera and smartphone will connect automatically.

  6. The photo is transferred to the NFC-enabled smartphone.

The NFC-enabled device must be near the camera's NFC tag for more than 2 seconds to transfer the file.
