How do I use Find My Mobile to manage Samsung Pay?

If your device is ever lost, misplaced, or stolen, your payment information will not be accessible without your fingerprint or Samsung Pay PIN. For added security, the Samsung Find My Mobile service can remotely lock or erase your payment cards in Samsung Pay. Alternatively, you can choose to erase your entire device and/or any removable storage.

Please retain gift card confirmation emails in the event you need to re-add cards to Samsung Pay.

Locate Your Device

  1. Visit findmymobile.samsung.com on your computer.

  2. Enter your Email address and Password, and then click Sign In.

  3. To locate your device, click Locate my device.

  4. The location process can take a few minutes depending on the network and state of the device. When the device is located, a location icon will indicate the approximate location on the map.

    If your device is turned off or there is no network connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi®), the device cannot be located.

Lock Samsung Pay

Your physical cards will remain active. Contact the card issuer if you need to report your physical card as lost or stolen.

  1. Visit findmymobile.samsung.com on your computer.

  2. Enter your Email address and Password, and then click Sign In.

  3. Click Lock Samsung Pay in the left navigation sidebar.

  4. Click Lock Samsung Pay.

  5. The process can take a few minutes depending on the network and state of the device. If successful, you will receive the "The function has been executed successfully" message, and a check icon will be displayed.

  6. To unlock Samsung Pay, from your device's Home screen, touch Apps > Samsung Pay. Verify your identity using your fingerprint or Samsung Pay PIN.

Wipe Samsung Pay

Your physical cards will remain active. Contact the card issuer if you need to report your physical card as lost or stolen.

  1. Visit findmymobile.samsung.com on your computer.

  2. Enter your Email address and Password, and then click Sign In.

  3. Click Wipe Samsung Pay in the left navigation sidebar.

  4. Enter your Samsung account password and click Wipe Samsung Pay.

  5. The process can take a few minutes depending on the network and state of the device. If successful, your payment cards along with any payment information will be removed from Samsung Pay.

Wipe Your Device Remotely

All the data saved on the device will be deleted, and the settings will be reset. After this, you will not be able to use the Find My Mobile service with this device.

  1. Visit findmymobile.samsung.com on your computer.

  2. Enter your Email address and Password, and then click Sign In.

  3. Click Wipe my device in the left navigation sidebar.

  4. Complete the following steps:

    1. Select Factory Data Reset.

    2. Agree to the terms and conditions.

    3. Enter your Samsung account password.

  5. Click Wipe.

  6. Click OK to proceed and delete all the data on your device.

  7. The process can take a few minutes depending on the network and state of your device. Your device will restart once all your information has been deleted.

Find My Mobile Device Settings

By default, the Find My Mobile service is turned on when you add a Samsung account during the initial Samsung Pay setup. Follow the instructions below to check and enable additional features.

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps.

  2. Touch Settings.

  3. Touch Lock screen and security.

  4. Touch Find My Mobile.

  5. Enter your Samsung account password and touch CONFIRM.

  6. Touch the slider off next to any feature to turn it on.
