Samsung Pay Is Crashing or Not Responding

Get help using Samsung Pay if it's not responding

You can easily fix the Samsung Pay app if it freezes, crashes, or does not respond. Most of the time, you just need to restart your phone. With these simple fixes, Samsung Pay should be good to go in no time.

Restart the Phone

Let's start with the basics. First, restart your phone, and then open Samsung Pay. Restarting the phone can correct memory issues that are preventing the app from functioning properly.

Remove and Re-Add a Card

If a specific payment card is causing issues, try to remove your card from Samsung Pay, and then add the card again.

Reset Samsung Pay

Resetting Samsung Pay will remove all payment cards from the app.

Still having trouble? If restarting your phone or re-adding cards doesn't not work, you can reset Samsung Pay and start again. Follow these steps:

Open Samsung Pay on your phone. Touch More Options, and then touch Settings. Swipe to and touch Reset app. Select the reason(s) you want to reset Samsung Pay, and then touch RESET. Next, enter your PIN or biometrics to confirm. All of your Samsung Pay information, like registered cards, will be deleted.
